AN: WARNING! SEXUAL/MATURE THEMES LATER ON IN THE CHAPTER!
The blaring light rained down through the half-open blinds of the wooden window. Its rays spilled into the room, covering everything in its path.
Including the sleeping boys on the ground.
With their fingers intertwined, they laid facing one another, soft breaths leaving their lips.
Neither of them moved an inch.
That is, until the light reached the paler one’s eyes. There was a brief moment in which nothing happened, before the boy’s eyes fluttered open, radiant violet brightened up by the sunlight.
His brows furrowed as he found himself in an unfamiliar place and it took a few moments for him to realise where and with who he was. His eyes slowly trailed down his own arm, until they reached his hand. That was when he looked up and came face-to-face with the other boy.
Ebony hair framed a pale face, just as long, dark lashes framed closed eyes. Ones which were darker than a starless sky.
The awake boy watched as the light slowly spread, lighting up the sleeping boy’s chin, before it went over his lips. It stopped before it could reach his eyes.
Akashi found himself thinking that it was better if Sasuke didn’t wake yet. He needed a little more time to think about last night’s events.
He said it. He really said it. He said something he didn’t expect to ever say again.
‘I love you.’ The words resounded inside his head and he clenched his teeth at the thought of them.
There was no regret within him. He didn’t regret saying them, somehow, he even felt lighter after doing just that. As if some kind of invisible burden was taken off his shoulders. A burden he didn’t know he was carrying.
And yet… His chest felt tight at the thought of it all.
What was he feeling? Why was he feeling that way? Wasn’t he supposed to be happy now that their feelings were mutual?
“…I’d stopped myself from blurting the thing on the edge of my tongue, the thing I’d never said, even though it was something we both knew well enough without me saying it out loud… I love you.” Those words… He was overjoyed when he heard them, but he was also… afraid?
He was feeling fear?
He was afraid?
Of what?
He didn’t know. He didn’t know. He didn’t know. He didn’t know. He didn’t know.
His attention was brought back to Sasuke, once the said boy shifted, a soft sigh leaving his lips.
Akashi found himself wanting to wake up to that sight in front of him every day. What more could he ask for? He wasn’t alone… He had someone who cared about him… What more could he ask for?
Still… something gnawed at the back of his mind, so he gently untangled their fingers and straightened up.
Fear racked up and down his spine, sending chilling shivers through his body. His lips parted as fastened breaths left them and his heart drummed against his rib cage. He turned to face the blaring sun, wishing to warm his cold body up, but it didn’t work.
He still felt cold, cold, cold.
_
Something was wrong.
That was the immediate thought on Sasuke’s mind as he woke up.
Something was wrong.
The feeling throbbed against the inside of his skull and he sat up in a hurry, already looking around. He didn’t quite expect the sight which he was greeted with.
Akashi was sitting next to him, looking away and towards the harsh sunlight, not making a sound nor moving an inch.
Something was wrong.
Sasuke saw that in the way the boy’s shoulders trembled once in a while. Contemplating his next actions, Sasuke slowly reached forward, fingers brushing against the top of Akashi’s hand. The said boy flinched back, whipping his head around to stare at him, “Are you all right?” Even though Sasuke asked that, he felt like he already knew the answer. Something was bothering Akashi, “Akashi?” He said his name once the redhead made no move to reply.
Violet eyes stared back at him and Sasuke almost felt like they had somehow taken a step back, “I…” Akashi trailed off, averting his eyes, “I don’t…” It seemed like it was hard for him to get the words out, “I’m not…” As if angered, Sasuke watched as Akashi grit his teeth.
Sasuke stayed silent, patiently awaiting the answer to come to the surface.
“I’m scared.” There it was. But it wasn’t what he was expecting.
Akashi was scared? Scared of what? What could have possibly scared him so much that he began trembling? If it managed to make him act like that, it must have been something which affected him strongly.
“Of what?” Sasuke lightly brushed his fingers over Akashi’s skin in a comforting matter.
Multiple emotions flashed through the redhead’s eyes as they looked at the floor, “… The last person who told me they loved me… died,” the veins in Akashi’s neck bulged, “I don’t…” He forced out, as if he didn’t know how to explain himself.
But Sasuke understood.
Shinya had told him he loved him and died a few days later… He was afraid, now that Sasuke had also said the words, that Sasuke would end up the same.
His heart throbbed in his chest at the thought of that, “I’m not leaving you… Ever.” His words sounded like a promise and somehow, he felt as if that was the thing Akashi needed.
“I don’t… want to lose you,” a hand gripped Sasuke’s own, “I don’t know what I would do if that happened,” Akashi had clenched his eyes shut and his head was lowered, “I need you.” The words were forced out through grit teeth.
“You have me,” Sasuke whispered and leaned forward, looking at Akashi from below, “As you always will.” He waited for him to open his eyes and when he did, it felt like he was seeing them for the first time all over again.
Before he could blink, arms wrapped around him and he was forced to hold himself up by using his elbows. They harshly clicked against the floor, but he ignored the pain, “Are you telling the truth? Are you saying that you will never leave me? Are you saying that you’ll never abandon me? Are you saying that you will always be by my side?” The questions flew out of Akashi’s mouth so fast that Sasuke barely had time to catch what he was saying.
Letting himself down to lie on the floor, he slid his arms around Akashi, “I am.”
“I’ll be holding onto those words.” The boy mumbled against his shoulder, fingers digging into his back.
Sasuke sighed out, feeling like all the pieces fell into their rightful place, “You can hold on for as long as you wish… I’m never letting you go.”
_
They laid like that for… Akashi didn’t even know how much time passed, “Is there a place you wish to go?” Sasuke’s sudden question made him pull back and lean onto his elbow.
He brushed his finger down the raven-haired boy’s cheek and tilted his head, “Anywhere is fine with you.” He knew he sounded cheesy when he said that, but it was the truth. He didn’t mind where they went, as long as they didn’t separate.
Sasuke blinked and averted his eyes. Akashi laughed at his expression.
“I’m hungry.” Was what Sasuke said and not even a second passed before Akashi’s stomach rumbled. The two of them shared a look and Akashi grinned.
“I am, too.” He said, carefully getting up and offering his hand to Sasuke. The said boy took it and was pulled to his feet, not noticing that the robe slid off his shoulder, “Are you trying to seduce me?” Akashi asked, reaching forward and taking the fabric into his hand.
Sasuke furrowed his brows, “Am I?” He asked, slightly confused.
“Are you?” Akashi’s lips curled up and he pulled Sasuke forward. The raven-haired boy stumbled towards him and Akashi placed his palms under Sasuke’s robes, atop his bare shoulders.
“Aren’t you hungry?” Sasuke asked, but did not make a move to step away.
“I am,” Akashi slowly pushed the robe back, uncovering Sasuke’s upper body, “Aren’t you?” He titled his head, the pads of his fingers brushing down Sasuke’s chest, sending shivers down the boy’s spine.
In that moment, Sasuke realised that Akashi was talking about a different kind of hunger, “Shameless.” He whispered, not looking away from the redhead.
“As if you mind.” Akashi replied, trailing his palms over Sasuke’s exposed skin, leaving light, teasing touches. He enjoyed the way Sasuke reacted, soft lips parting as hot breaths left him. He slid his arm around Sasuke’s waist and pulled him closer, slotting their lips together. Sasuke gave out an immediate reaction, his cold hand gripped Akashi own and he titled his head, making the kiss more comfortable.
Akashi licked into Sasuke’s mouth, sliding his tongue across the boy’s own as he slowly pushed him back and into the nearest wall. The moment they made contact with it, Akashi bent his knees and grabbed onto Sasuke’s thighs, hoisting the boy up. As if on instinct, Sasuke wrapped his legs around Akashi’s hips and curled his arms around his shoulders.
“You seem eager.” Sasuke mumbled out as Akashi dragged his teeth across the expanse of his neck.
“You’re no different,” his lips brushed against Sasuke’s already heated skin as he spoke, which caused the boy in his arms to tremble, a small sigh leaving him, “See?” Akashi asked, parting his lips and biting down a second later.
Sasuke threw his head back, almost slamming it into the wall, at the brief, sharp pain, “You…” He sighed out, glancing at Akashi through half-lidded eyes. The redhead felt himself grow hot at the heated look in those dark eyes of his.
“You’re not making this any easier for me, you know? Looking at me like that…” He said, slightly out of breath at the sight in front of him.
Hands pressed into his skin and his robes were pushed back, left to hang on his elbows, “Like what?” Sasuke asked, resting his hands on his shoulders, “How am I looking at you?”
Akashi took a deep breath and leaned forward, “Like you’re begging me to bed you.” He whispered, lips almost brushing the raven-haired boy’s ear.
“You’re not far off.” The reply caught him off guard and Akashi pushed onto Sasuke, forcing him further into the wall, making the boy sharply inhale as their private parts brushed together.
Not wasting any more time, Akashi tightly grabbed onto Sasuke and turned them around, heading straight towards the futon which laid on the floor a few feet away from them. The moment they reached it, Akashi lowered Sasuke down and immediately settled in between his legs, “You…” He whispered, staring into Sasuke’s eyes.
“What are you waiting for?” The said boy asked, not blinking.
Without another word, Akashi closed the distance between them and slid his hand down Sasuke’s stomach at the same time. Their lips collided and his fingers caught onto the tied up part of the robe. It didn’t take long for him to untie the sash, nor did it take long to have Sasuke moaning into his mouth as his hand made contact with the most heated part of him.
Akashi leaned back, licking his lips and was met with a sight which would forever be etched into his memory. Sasuke laid bare beneath him, cheeks flushed a light pink as soft breaths left his lips. His head was turned to the side, but his eyes were looking straight at Akashi.
They were looking at him as if they were questioning why he stopped.
He leaned back, fingers reaching towards his own sash, but he didn’t even get to touch it as hands covered his own. Without a word, Sasuke reached forward and his fingers professionally untied the sash. Akashi pulled his arms out of the sleeves and shook the robe off, letting it pool atop his calves. In the meantime, Sasuke had laid back down, arms spread on either side of him.
The heated look in his eyes never went away.
Akashi felt his restraint chip away with each second that passed.
Blinking, he glanced ahead of himself and saw that their bags were near. How lucky. He stretched over Sasuke, arm reaching towards his bag, before he started rummaging for a bit. It took a few seconds for him to find what he was looking for. He pulled his hand back, a small bottle glinting under the harsh rays of the sun.
Bingo.
He popped the lid off with his teeth and poured a generous amount of the liquid onto his hand, before he somehow managed to cap it without spilling anything. The small vial was thrown onto the side, harmlessly bouncing off the padded floor. After that, Akashi turned back to Sasuke, shuffling back a few inches as he slowly lowered his hand. He made sure to carefully watch Sasuke and his reaction to everything. If there was even a brief moment of hesitation on his face, Akashi was prepared to stop and call it a day.
But, he found no such thing. The heated look remained.
So he continued.
The moment his coated fingers made contact with Sasuke’s private parts, the said boy’s eyes slightly widened and Akashi immediately stopped, “What’s wrong?” He asked, freezing in place.
Hearing his question, Sasuke shook his head, blinking his eyes, “It’s just… cold.” He looked away, as if embarrassed at the reason. Really, there was nothing to be embarrassed about.
Breathing in, Akashi resumed what he was doing. He shifted his hand, slightly bending his wrist and, as gently as possible, slid a finger in. He received an immediate reaction. Sasuke’s body tensed up and Akashi stopped, letting him get used to the unfamiliar sensation.
It was the same for him the first time.
He was still for a few moments, before Sasuke breathed out, tongue peeking out to lick at his lips. Taking that as a sign to continue, Akashi slowly prodded with another finger, lightly pushing in, but stopped as Sasuke tightened up, “Are you all right?” He asked, leaning down to kiss as the boy’s chin. He received a stiff nod, “I’ll be needing a verbal response.”
“I’m okay.” Was what Sasuke said, although it sounded a little strained.
“Are you sure? We can stop… There’s no need to hurry with this.” He leaned their foreheads together and closed his eyes in the process.
“I’m sure.” This time, the response was more determined, more easily said.
Akashi opened his eyes and watched as Sasuke reached a hand towards him, before he settled it on his cheek, a soft smile gracing his features. It was rare to see Sasuke smile like that, “Okay, just… Tell me if anything hurts.” He received a small nod in return.
He leaned back and got back to the job at hand. Literally.
Slowly, as to not hurt the boy, he slid the rest of his finger in and Sasuke gave a more satisfying reaction. His eyes slid shut as his back lightly arched at the feeling.
Akashi was relieved to see that he was doing things right.
He scissored his fingers and immediately felt Sasuke tremble underneath him. Really, Akashi was at his limit, but seeing Sasuke react like that helped him contain his own urges. He wished to make Sasuke feel good before he made himself feel good.
Lightly pulling his fingers out, he prodded with the third one. Well… It went as well as he expected it to go. The moment he breached him with it, Sasuke’s hand gripped onto his other arm with a death-like grip, “Shit!” Akashi exclaimed, already moving to pull his fingers out, but Sasuke’s legs tightened around his middle and pulled him in, causing his fingers to sink back in.
“Wait.” Sasuke sighed out, harsh breaths leaving his lips.
Akashi did just that. He waited. He waited until Sasuke’s breathing evened out. He waited until the boy under him fully relaxed. He waited until he received a nod to continue.
Biting his lip, Akashi experimentally shifted his fingers and watched as Sasuke practically squirmed on the futon. His collarbones jutted out and he widened his legs, allowing Akashi to come even closer to him.
The redhead felt his want grow at the sight and it seemed like Sasuke noticed, since he immediately spoke up, “You’re holding back… Why don’t you let loose a little?” The question made Akashi avert his eyes.
“Are you sure? These are only fingers and that…” He trailed off, not finishing his sentence. Sasuke broke out into a small laugh as the words left his lips and Akashi looked at him in both confusion and wonder.
He’d definitely never laughed like that, at least not in front of him.
His cheeks flushed hot at the sound of his laugh, just as his heartbeat accelerated in his chest, practically slamming against his ribs.
“You’re awfully confident in yourself… Don’t worry about me,” Sasuke raised his arms up and placed his palms on each side of Akashi’s neck, “I want to feel you… Completely.”
And with that, Akashi’s restraint was gone out of the window.
He pulled his fingers out and coated his private part with the remains of the liquid on his hand. Taking another deep breath, he slowly angled himself, staring straight into Sasuke’s eyes.
As onyx clashed with violet, he pushed in.
The heat almost made his world spin as he gripped onto Sasuke’s hips and closed his eyes. Then, without a single thought in his head, he echoed last night’s words, “I love you.”
_
To say that Sasuke was overwhelmed with everything that was going on would be an understatement.
The cherry on top were the redhead’s words, “I love you.” He heard him mumble out. Really… Was he trying to kill him on the spot? It wasn’t enough that he was at his mercy, but he went ahead and said those words too?
So, without a single thought in his head, he replied, “As do I.”
He should have been prepared for the reaction, but he wasn’t.
_
“You’re unbelievable.” Sasuke mumbled out, voice muffled by the covers of the futon. Akashi knelt besides him, a guilty expression twisting his features.
“I went overboard.” He said, lips pulled back into a grimace as he watched the boy glare at him. Only the top of his face was visible from inside his little cover fort.
“You didn’t stop.” Sasuke added, practically glowering at him. He watched as Akashi scratched the side of his neck, over the bandage that somehow never got taken off, and grinned.
“You never told me to.” Was the answer he received. Really, he should have expected something like that.
“Shameless.” He bit out, voice lacking the anger he wished to portray.
Akashi’s grin widened and he titled his head, violet eyes shining in mirth, “As if you mind.”
No. Sasuke didn’t mind.
