Kelsey stretched her feet out on the couch as she ate a Cobb salad from zaxbys, today was supposed to be her relaxing day but she still had errands she had to run since she didn’t do them yesterday.
She had a scheduled photo shoot for Sam new makeup brand she’d asked her to model for yesterday which she was very excited since she never took professional pictures.
Kelsey ate the last bite of her salad before slowly getting up to throw the plate away so she could get going .
Walking into the kitchen she stopped by the trash can dropping the plate inside before grabbing her purse and keys off the marble island then made her way to her door.
Kelsey opened the door and instantly her body froze seeing the one person she absolutely didn’t wanna see … Harlem.
Harlem stood at the door looking like he was about to knock before Kelsey opened the door but she was confused on why he was here ..
“K-kelse- Harlem what are you at my door?”Kelsey cut him off before he could finish.
“Well can I come in? it’s something that I want to talk to you about”Harlem spoke as his face was stuck in a frown.
Breathing loud Kelsey opened the door wider and moved back allowing him to enter her home .
“What is it Harlem and make it quick I got things to do.”she spoke while closing the door .
“I came here to talk about us Kelsey , I tried texting you but you have my number blocked, then I went to your job and they said you were off which is weird because you’ve never been off on a Wednesday”Harlem crossed his arms as if he was mad .
“Harlem first off. Their is no us, I don’t understand why you even texting me when you have a whole baby to be worried about and it damn sure isn’t your business when I’m off because you shouldn’t be popping up to my job in the first place.”Kelsey face scrunched up .
“Here you go trying to act tuff with me. Kelsey i see right through you I know you hurt about what i did and everyday my heart aches because of it , just let me make it right.” Harlem walked towards Kelsey but she pushed him back .
“Please could you just stay where you are seriously , and there’s nothing to make right Harlem I don’t think you understand you have a whole BABY.” Kelsey sat her purse on the couch.
“Not only that but you laid up with the girl days after we broke up , you clearly don’t give a damn about me what so ever” she continued.
“Don’t ever say I don’t care for you when I’m here trying to make it better , Kelsey I’m trying and I’m sorry for that I wasn’t thinking ” Harlem placed his head in his hands .
“Could you just stop apologizing like what don’t you understand? There’s no fixing anything you did some grimy ass shit knowing I was nothing but good to you , but I promise you gone get your karma. now could you please make your way out” Kelsey opened the door stepping aside
Harlem looked at Kelsey for a minute before walking out feeling defeated by the things that came out of Kelsey’s mouth ” I love you Kelsey .”
Scoffing she closed the door in his face then took a seat on her couch instantly starting to cry messing up the light makeup she had recently did.

“Kelsey baby you look good man look at these pictures” Sam moved the computer over showing her each pictures.
“Aww they look so good , I cant believe I look this good omgg” Kelsey smiled finally loving her look.
In the past Kelsey had a hard time loving her self only because she was bullied a lot during middle school all the way till 10 grade of highschool which affected the way she seen herself a lot .
She was mostly bullied because the color of her skin. people didn’t like how dark she was and she hated herself because of it but she grew up and learned that she was beautiful. Understatement sexy asf .
Grabbing her water bottle she opened it taking a sip as they scrolled through the picture and hearted the ones she liked.
As they scrolled Kelsey’s mind often snuck off to thinking about Harlem . She was simply intrigued on why he thought it was okay coming to her place talking about fixing what they had.
“Ke- girl you don’t hear me?”sam questioned turning her attention towards Kelsey.
“My bad girl im just thinking what’d you say again?” Kelsey asked drinking more water.
Laughing Sam closed the computer sliding it over “forget this what’s on your mind you okay?” Sam questioned.
Kelsey knew for a fact that Sam thought she was thinking about Harlem which she was completely right but she still was standing on business.
“Sam how about harl-“Kelsey paused huffing getting irritated quickly”Harlem pathetic ass came to my house today “
“He didddd!??? For thee fuck what?”sam eyes widened as her face scrunched up
Kelsey rolled her eyes thinking about the event that happened before “he talking about he wanna fix what we had , and that he’s sorry and hurt for what he did to me”
Sam face was stuck scrunched up after hearing the nonsense Harlem had did “he’s such a lame like he had a whole baby on you that’s so weird”
“Then wasn’t he just laid up with ole girl or am i tripping?” Sam questioned
“Your definitely not tripping he surly was laid completely up with her, and it’s so embarrassing because people always texting me about him or sending me screenshots of his story still thinking we together and that I don’t know “Kelsey shook her head
After Harlem posted the girl people thought Harlem cheated on Kelsey because neither of them announced that they wasn’t together anymore and they thought that Kelsey was still somewhere laid up with him since in the past people knew Kelsey wasn’t coming off of Harlem no time soon . They labeled her as “stupid”.
“Yea no.. like it didn’t make no sense for him to pop up at your house and unannounced, that was plain out disrespectful , and why they sending you that anyway ? It’s giving messy “Sam rolled her eyes
“Girl then he said he went to my job. You don’t do stuff like that I just know my coworkers gone be looking at me weird because a nigga came in there looking for me “Kelsey shook her head getting irritated.
Before Sam starting speaking Kelsey’s phone rung putting a pause on the conversation once she looked down and checked her phone seeing her brother was calling.
Clicking the green button the call quickly connected and Kelsey was instantly met with the sound of her brother voice.”why when I first call your phone it sends me to voicemail?”
Kelsey brought the phone back from her ear and got up out her seat “Sam imma get going I love you” Kelsey quickly whispered grabbing her purse.
“Alright imma send you this pictures pooka I love you more and drive safe “Sam waved her goodbye as she walked away.
“Micah my phone on dnd plus don’t call me questioning me especially if you didn’t greet the queen first “she rolled her neck as if he could see her.
She heard Micah laugh loudly in her ear making her remove the phone and put it on speaker “what’s so funny?”
“Man you dumb asf talking about greet the queen girl shut up , anyway were you at because I just made it in town” Micah questioned
“You down here foreal ? Like say swear “Kelsey asked getting inside her car.
“Deadass I came down here and brung your bad ass nephew “Micah sighed
“Omggg I’m about to come over there send the lo.”Kelsey hung up feeling a rush of happiness.
She haven’t seen her brother or her nephew in months .
Feeling her phone vibrate she seen Micah had sent the lo so she quickly started the car up and made her way to the air bnb .
