Porsche
The sound of people cheering and jeering in the casino filtered like white noise in my head. I had stepped back into the VIP section of the casino to make a mental assessment of my entire life.
My past seemed like a blur at this point. I hated every bit of it. The fact that I paid no attention to my own family made me feel like a failure. Now Jack was using that weakness to taunt me.
Questions robed my mind and I needed answers.
Why would Jack have a picture of my father? Is he insane?
What kind of business did Kinn have with Jack in the past?
Who among the two of them is responsible for my father’s demise?
Jack or Kinn?
I swallowed the chilled dark rum on the rocks and slammed the glass on the table. The half melted ice clunked in the cup. It was the fourth cup. The rum bottle sitting in the middle of the table was half empty.
My eyes were droopy. I was getting saturated, I could feel it. I recalled Kinn had warned me not to get drunk alone in public. He was afraid I would get into trouble or do something stupid.
But today was an exception.
I was alone. I was vulnerable. I let my emotions becloud my sense of judgment. I filled the cup again.
Arm walked in with a phone in his hand. He stood beside me. “Khun Kinn wants to speak with you, he says you are not picking up his calls.”
“Just tell him I’m fine,” I blurted with a sigh
Arm was still standing there. “He wants to know when you will be coming home.”
“Soon.” I waved my hand at Arm to leave.
I could spend the night drinking myself to death or I could just go home and have a talk with Kinn. I was trying to choose which was a worse fate.
“Prepare the car. I think I had enough for a night.” I didn’t know how much the rum had in my system until I stood up. I staggered back a bit and managed to hold my stance. The room seemed to spin one eight degrees and back. I wiped my eyes as I made my way to the outside the building.
Arm held the door to the backseat as I entered I sat down. I loosed my tie and unbuttoned my suit. On a second thought I took of the suit and leaned my head on the chair. I stared out the window as the car rolled into the highway.
“Arm? How much of Kinn’s deals in the past do you know?” I asked Arm as he drove me back home in my Maserati car.
“Khun Porsche, we the bodyguards have a code we live by. Sorry I can reveal details of past dealings. We don’t really talk about that…”
I sighed and rolled my eyes.
“I need to know some things.”
Arm breathed and gripped the steering wheel.
“Things like what Khun Porsche?”
“My family.”
“Is it about your brother Porchay?”
“Yes. And my parents.”
Arm paused for a second. He made a turn at the junction and looked out of the window in thought. I know I was intruding in the bodyguard ethics and code. But I needed answers.
“Khun Kinn has eyes and ears everywhere. Once a deal is done. The chapter closes,” Arm said.
I leaned closer to the front seat. “Do you think Kinn is hiding something from me?”
“Um no. I think we are all happy and relieved that he finally got to settle down with you. Khun Kinn had many bad luck in relationships. You changed everything about him.”
I blinked. My eyes were heavy. Same old story. I was too desperate to find out what went wrong in the past.
I took out my phone and scrolled through my contact list. There must be someone who can help me with the information I needed.
I tapped Pete’s number. And quickly sent him a text message.

Kinn
The family nurse redressed the wound on my abdomen. The reddened parts had healed off, the skin around the wound was gradually drying off. The pain had lessened and I could do few of my normal activities. But Pa insisted I healed properly before attending meetings.
I agreed. It was the middle of the year and a lot of business men were toping up their shares and expanding their business. There will be auctions and business opportunities to attend. I didn’t want to miss on that.
Porsche has to be aware of the new schedule for he rest of the year, so we can work together. I didn’t want my business associates noticing the emotional rift between me and Porsche.
I wanted us to talk tonight and probably fix our problems.
I was already dressed in my olive green pajamas waiting for Porsche to return. He had stayed too long at the casino I was getting worried. Porsche refused to pick my calls so I had to call Arm. I asked if everything okay was he said yes. He told me they were on their way home.
I paced about the balcony of the penthouse until I saw the car drive into the mansion. I quickly jogged downstairs. I was surprised when I saw Porsche was brought in by Arm and Pol. He was limp and pale.
“What is wrong with Porsche?” I demanded.
“He had so much to drink, boss,” Arm replied
I raised my eyebrow and covered the distance between us. Porsche was held up in the middle of Arm and Pol. Hiw eyes were shut and he kept mumbling words I couldn’t understand. “Why do let him drink so much?”
“He refused to stop after I told him to,” Arm stammered out.
I breathed. I waved my hand at the bodyguards. “You can go.” They both bowed and left us.
I held Porsche, wrapped my arm around his waist and carried him up. “Why would you drink, I told you I don’t like it when you drink alone.”
“Sowie na…” Porsche’s words were slurred. “I just took a few shots. You don’t have to worry.”
I sighed. “I’m worried.”
We both went upstairs. When we reached our bedroom, I moved Porsche towards our bed and sat him down gently. I began to unbutton his shirt. But he held my hands.
“What are you doing? Your hands tickle…” Porsche said as he gave out a chuckle.
“Porsche you’re drunk. You need to take a shower before you sleep.”
Porsche leaned closer and put his arms my neck. His eyes glaring at mine. Porsche shook his head. “I don’t know you anymore Kinn…”
“Can you stop talking already? You might say something you’d regret.” I peeled the shirt off his back to reveal his beautiful body. His soft golden skin shining in the white light. I blinked as I worked on his trousers. I gently peeled them off his long, sexy legs.
“Regret!” Porsche burst out. “Why would I regret. I heard some nasty things already that’s making me regret…”
“Porsche stop,” I retorted cutting him off. I held his hand and pulled him to stand. “Let’s go to the bathroom…”
“No.”
“Porsche?”
“Let me tell you something, huh,” Porsche tapped his finger on my bare chest. “Kinni did you ever love me at all?”
I nodded. “What are you talking about? I’ve always loved you.”
“Why did you do that huh?”
I eyed him for a moment. What was he talking about? Even if I told him anything he wouldn’t remember by morning. “Let’s just go,” I pulled him to the bathroom and turned on the shower.
Cool water splashed on his head while I watched. All parts of Porsche’s body seem to respond to torrent of water streaming down his skin. His chest was bulgy. I could see his dick harden below his waist. His dark hair laid sleek on his face.
“You can continue from here.”
“No.” Porsche took the shower gel and handed to me. I breathed. I had promised myself not to take advantage of my husband when he was in a drunk state. No matter how tempting it was.
For the past few weeks, my relationship with Porsche had been strained. I was only patience enough to give him all the space he needed to get over his issues. It’s a matter of time before I ran out patience.
I collected the gel and poured some thick gel into my palms and rubbed it together. I rubbed the gel on Porsche chest and back. Scrubbing the foam down his abdomen and arms.
My palms gradually reached his neck and he stared at me with his wide beautiful eyes. I wish I could read his mind. I wished I could give him the world.
“Do you feel better now?” I whispered.
Porsche shook his head like a kid. I smiled a little and continued to scrub his body. I rinsed off the gel and handed him a towel.
I helped him out the shower and returned him to the bed.
“You want something to drink?” I asked reaching my hand to touch his cheeks, which he evaded abruptly.
“Don’t look at me that way. I’m not even done with you.”
I sat beside Porsche, admiring his rare beauty. his sleek collar bones, the subtle strength in his pectorals and his pink nipples peeking seductively at me. Is it any wonder how we’ve been together for over years but he seemed to look younger every other day.
“Porsche, no matter what happened in the past, or what you think about me, I will always love you. Always.”
I cupped his face with my left arm, he reached his hand and held me trying to get my hand away.
I didn’t fight it. I acted as he wanted.
“Porsche… Won’t you even give me a kiss?”
He eyed me like I asked for something we had never done before. He ran his hand through his wet hair. “I just want to sleep.”
“Not even a peck,” I let my fingers slide down Porsche’s smooth arm. I leaned closer towards his face. As I moved to kiss his lips, he turned his face slightly. My lips connected with his right cheek. I inhaled his bodily scent. Porsche was unknowingly starving me. I was only tolerating because of my health.
“I’m tired,” Porsche said. He plopped his naked body in the middle of the bed and wriggled close to a pillow.
While he dozed off, I picked up his shirt and trouser from the bed. I moved my leg as I saw something fell out from the trouser pocket as I lifted the piece of clothing.
Bending down slightly, I picked up what looked like a squeezed, old photo. Unfolding it, the crumpled image of Porsche’s late father came to view.
