the messy haired girl in the sheets screamed back at her brother who was just doing his usual job waking his little sister up for school
the girl covered her ears with pillows ignoring the banging sounds so she can drift off to sleep once again until she couldn’t take it anymore
she groaned and sat up glaring at her brother who was supposedly behind the door
“STOP BANGING ON MY DOOR MINGHAO“

he had no choice but to barge into his sister’s room
the door smashed opened as it collided and fell on the floor revealing minghao on the other side

wanyi yelled but the older guy smacked her face with her pillow and rolled her up like a burrito with the blanket

minghao opened the door to the attached bathroom and placed her there on the toilet wanyi still being half asleep
“wash up breakfast is almost ready” he eyed the girl and slammed the door loudly as the door knob fell off
she could hear a muffled “oops” from the outside

minghao drove his sister to school and he had to attend uni in few minutes
the black haired girl was fast asleep, drooling at the passenger’s seat
her older brother looked at her scrunching his face at the way she looked while sleeping
when minghao had noticed they’re nearing the school gates he suddenly pulled the brakes resulting his sister to be thrown forwards as her head almost hit the windshield
the sudden force woke her up real good
“get out sleepyhead” minghao smirked and ruffled his sister’s hair
“could’ve woke me up normally” she glared at the older as she grabbed her leather bag and jumped out the car
wanyi stood next to the car after closing it and squinted her eyes at her brother in disdain
minghao then honked loudly which startled her as he hysterically laughed at her reaction “lewser, better get your grades up”
just then a boy who had arrived at the same time came at the scene and stopped on his tracks right behind wanyi
he then lightly tapped her shoulder making her jolt

“oh! good morning!”
zhanghao smiled at his best friend and looked inside the car greeting the older
minghao then drove his ass away from his sister and her friend
the two then marched together happily on the school grounds where their fellow high schoolers roamed around the campus meeting up with their friends
“over him yet?”
zhanghao asked jokingly already predicting her answer which is “nah”
wanyi smiled unhappily “im not giving up yet”
hao just sighed and laughed away with her
“let’s go to the snackbar before class starts!” wanyi said excitedly
ofc hao would agree
the two then lightly jogged towards the snackbar and quickly separated as they were on different aisles now
wanyi was just about to grab something from the cooler when another hand grabbed the same thing
“i saw it first” the familiar voice said in a low tone
she nervously looked up to see the person with bright lock of hair and sharp eyes piercing through her soul
“but i grabbed it first”
“fine” he spoke with voice so cold
not wanting to seem immature he removed his hands which had a small portion of his skin brushing onto hers
“im kidding i know you love it so you can have it” she smiled brightly and handed the strawberry milk to the much taller boy who gave her a glare
he wasn’t even hesitant to grab it so quick and then he walked away to be stopped midway
“does that mean you accept my love?” she then spoke with expectant eyes, her tone with a hint of sarcasm
the boy then froze for a sec and scrunched up his face in disgust
“fuck no”
“oh.. then i might as well take my drink back”
wanyi crossed her arms and smiled at the boy thinking he wouldn’t give in knowing ricky likes strawberry milk
ricky wouldn’t have said yes to her, but getting to talk to her was enough to make her smile, but the drink was tossed right back at her
ricky scoffed and deliberately walked away disappearing in the other side of the aisle

zhanghao found his friend standing in the aisle and tapped on her shoulder making her turn back

the boy answered in all honesty and walked away from her face
he wouldn’t want to interfere more in her life.. “thanks” was enough
the best thing for her would be for him to avoid her, hoping she can move on
he doesn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.. he obviously didn’t feel the same way so that’s all he could say
she went on and on.. having hopes he’ll be annoyed and finally tell her to stfu and then marry her
but her delusions were always wrong
