Transmigrated Into A Waste Who Married The Villain. Chapter 97: The Boudoir

Luo Jinxiao felt a wave of bittersweet emotions wash over her as Qu Weiyin spoke. She wrapped her arms around Qu Weiyin, gently stroking her dark hair.

This unexpected joy of reconnecting sent tears streaming down her face.

“It really is me. I was afraid we might never recognize each other again. If that happened, what would I do?” Luo Jinxiao said through a choked voice, enveloped by the sweet fragrance of the woman before her, as if she were surrounded by a blooming garden, making her want to consume those flowers entirely.

Qu Weiyin stayed nestled in her embrace for some time before gently tilting her head up. Her damp, soft lips brushed against Luo Jinxiao’s chin and lingered near her lips.

“Even if the six realms were to fall, I would never forget my Jinxiao,” she whispered, her breath sweet like orchids, rendering Luo Jinxiao dizzy.

“I really waited a long time for you,” Qu Weiyin continued, her voice tinged with a grievance that stripped her of the imposing presence of a demon lord before her beloved.

Qu Weiyin delicately traced Luo Jinxiao’s features with her fingers, and after feeling them one by one, she finally sighed in relief. Half kneeling, she lowered her head to gaze at Luo Jinxiao’s face with a look of deep affection.

“You seem to have changed so much, yet remain exactly the same,” she observed, her eyes shimmering like autumn waters, filled with longing and desire. The crescent curve of her red lips descended to kiss Luo Jinxiao’s eyes.

Luo Jinxiao’s cheeks flushed as those tantalizing emotions swelled once more within her.

Unable to resist, she pulled Qu Weiyin tightly around the waist, causing her to straighten her back and press against Luo Jinxiao, who softly exhaled a sound of contentment.

After a moment of surprise passed, Qu Weiyin’s slender fingers tucked Luo Jinxiao’s disheveled hair behind her ears, feigning annoyance. “You were so fierce just now, pressing down on me hard enough to hurt. Aren’t you going to apologize?”

“Have you really gotten more feisty after three years apart?” Qu Weiyin teased lightly as she gently tapped Luo Jinxiao’s shoulder.

“I’m sorry,” Luo Jinxiao murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.

Qu Weiyin was about to say something when Luo Jinxiao stepped forward, pinning her against the wall. Qu Weiyin’s long eyelashes fluttered, revealing her uncertainty.

Luo Jinxiao’s flustered gaze amused Qu Weiyin, who smiled indulgently and relaxed into the wall.

No matter how much she looked at Luo Jinxiao, she felt she could never get enough of her—those bright, black eyes, shining as though they carried light despite the utter darkness surrounding them. They pierced through Qu Weiyin’s heart, instantly breathing life into what had become a desolate new dwelling.

Although her smile was no longer as innocent or whimsical, to Qu Weiyin, Luo Jinxiao still appeared beautifully cold and bright.

She was Qu Weiyin’s light, a strong ray of sunshine that could dispel the long stretch of darkness, rescuing her from gloom and mire.

The words of redemption seemed hard to believe, yet once they existed, Qu Weiyin found herself willingly overwhelmed by them.

Luo Jinxiao’s hot lips met Qu Weiyin’s, sending a jolt like lightning through Qu Weiyin’s heart. Had there not been a wall behind her, she would have already fallen back.

Luo Jinxiao’s divine power, which would normally feel like ice, was now ablaze, gradually enveloping Qu Weiyin’s limbs as if she intended to consume her whole.

Qu Weiyin responded to the heat, her red skirt spilling over the edge of the bed, trailing down like cascading petals, and her long sleeves wrapped around Luo Jinxiao’s graceful shoulders. She clung to Luo Jinxiao like a drowning person grasping at driftwood, on the brink of asphyxiation.

Luo Jinxiao’s kiss was sweet and suffocating. She didn’t know where this intuitive familiarity came from but felt an overwhelming desire to consume every last breath of Qu Weiyin.

Qu Weiyin found the kiss nearly unbearable, her pale hands gripping Luo Jinxiao’s clothing tightly.

Breathless, Luo Jinxiao shut her eyes, her hand gradually gliding over Qu Weiyin’s shoulder until it inadvertently brushed against the exposed engraving. Qu Weiyin couldn’t help but make a soft sound, “Mmm.”

It was only then that the two finally separated. Qu Weiyin’s eyes still held a lingering haze, her breath quickening, and her lips slightly swollen from the intensity of their kiss.

Qu Weiyin couldn’t help but break into a smile through her tears, akin to a vibrant flower glistening after a rainfall, beautiful enough to stir sighs of admiration.

Luo Jinxiao finally lifted her hand, carefully and slowly wiping away the tears from Qu Weiyin’s face.

“What is this?” Luo Jinxiao suddenly asked, her fingertip resting just above the exposed engraving of the character “洛” on Qu Weiyin’s chest.

Qu Weiyin bit her lip, not meeting her gaze, her face flushed as she loosened her outer garment to reveal the full engraving.

Upon seeing her name, Luo Jinxiao’s heart twisted painfully, as if someone had wrung it, and tears welled up in her eyes, dripping onto her hands.

“Fool, why are you crying?” Qu Weiyin murmured softly, cupping Luo Jinxiao’s face with both hands.

“You’re the one in this state, and you call someone else a fool?” Luo Jinxiao felt a rush of conflicting emotions, unsure if it was from heartache or something else. After a brief silence, she asked, “When did you get this?”

“At the Wuhui Sect. It’s been a long time. I was afraid that one day I would forget everything, so I kept this. Perhaps it would help me avoid hurting you,” Qu Weiyin replied lightly, as if it were just a trivial matter.

Unable to contain herself, Luo Jinxiao turned her face away, softly sobbing.

“You’ve been like this for so many years—why are you still so childish?” Qu Weiyin said helplessly, gently patting the top of Luo Jinxiao’s head, her hand lightly resting on her shoulder as her clothing restored itself.

“It doesn’t hurt. There now, stop crying. We should be happy,” Qu Weiyin coaxed in a soothing tone, as one might to a child.

Luo Jinxiao, her nose reddened, nodded slowly.

Qu Weiyin was so wonderful that Luo Jinxiao didn’t even know how to express her love properly.

“Honestly, why didn’t you come find me? Did you find someone else attractive?” Qu Weiyin asked, sitting up with her feet dangling above the floor.

“It’s all Luo Ning’s fault! She said you had long forgotten me and started killing indiscriminately,” Luo Jinxiao grumbled.

As she spoke, a thought struck her. She glanced at the unconscious Qingyi, scrunching her face in distaste. With a wave of her hand, Qingyi was lifted off the ground and flew out the window, crashing down with a loud thud.

Finally satisfied, Luo Jinxiao turned back to Qu Weiyin.

“Luo Ning?” Qu Weiyin asked in surprise.

Luo Jinxiao nodded, then recounted everything that had occurred since her fall into the water, from the destruction of the celestial realm to her reincarnation—everything she had experienced up until now. Qu Weiyin listened with wide eyes, utterly captivated.

It took a full half an hour for Luo Jinxiao to finish explaining all the events in detail.

Once done, she felt parched, reaching for a cup on the table, only to pour its contents into her mouth and immediately spit it out.

Ugh, it was wine.

Qu Weiyin reached out to pat her back, remaining silent for a while as she processed the fact that Luo Jinxiao was a deity.

“So, you must have lived for thousands of years?” Qu Weiyin’s gentle voice brushed against Luo Jinxiao’s heart, tinged with surprise and confusion.

“More like tens of thousands. From the beginning of creation to the establishment of the mortal realm, experiencing countless times of renewal. But I died for a long time in between, so many of those memories feel quite distant,” Luo Jinxiao replied, looking at the teacup in her hand, scratching her head as she spoke slowly.

Qu Weiyin listened to her words, her gaze drifting to the window, where a sandstorm was brewing outside, casting a gray veil over everything.

“Then I forgive you for not coming to find me,” Qu Weiyin said softly. “At first, I even considered that if you truly changed your heart so easily, I would tie you up and keep you by my side, not allowing you to go anywhere.”

“Really?” Luo Jinxiao suddenly perked up, leaning closer with a playful pout. “What would you tie me up for? It’s not too late now, is it?”

Qu Weiyin glanced at her sideways, playfully shoving her away while softly scolding, “You’re impossible!”

Then she shifted her tone, “But I only thought about it; being with me would be hell. If you did change your heart, there’s nothing I could do. I just want you to be happy.”

Luo Jinxiao’s smile faded, and her eyes became misty once more.

Luo Jinxiao wrapped her arms around Qu Weiyin’s waist and rested her forehead against her hair, softly saying, “Ordinary people may change their hearts, but I am a deity, and deities do not change. My heart belongs entirely to Qu Weiyin.”

Qu Weiyin gently closed her eyes, tightly gripping the hem of Luo Jinxiao’s clothing as she replied, “So is mine.”

They nestled together quietly, wishing for time to freeze at that very moment.

After a long while, Qu Weiyin finally opened her eyes and said, “After my demonic transformation, I heard you call my name. When I regained my senses, everything had changed. The surroundings felt both strange and familiar, as I found myself back in this hell that ensnares me. The mortal world is beautiful, but it doesn’t allow me.”

“I wanted to escape, but I had killed so many people. A demon with blood-soaked hands is despised by the world.”

“What’s more, Yougui believed I had truly demonized. It was then I realized how insane his actions were.” Qu Weiyin paused as she spoke.

“He transmitted half of the formation diagram of the Underworld to many in the demon realm, instructing them to cultivate it, which led to widespread suffering in the five realms. The demon realm rose up, turning the world into chaos.”

Upon hearing this, Luo Jinxiao couldn’t help but stand up, her heart filled with shock.

“He intends for the demon realm to dominate all?”

“Something like that. By the time I learned all of this, I had already missed many opportunities. I had to stay here, pretending to be the demon lord to gain his trust and use him to retrieve the scattered formation diagram and thwart his ambitions.”

Luo Jinxiao felt a chill run down her spine, and she instinctively embraced Qu Weiyin, slowly soothing her.

One could only imagine the immense pressure Qu Weiyin had endured. Moreover, most of the demons were probably still under Yougui’s command, which explained why she had suffered from nightmares for the past three years.

“I’m sorry; I should have returned sooner,” Luo Jinxiao said sincerely.

“It’s all right. Now that you are here, I’m not afraid of anything anymore,” Qu Weiyin smiled, and the mark on her forehead glowed with a bright red light.

Luo Jinxiao couldn’t help but kiss her once more.

Qu Weiyin suddenly jolted, giving Luo Jinxiao a firm shove with angry eyes. “Luo Jinxiao! No touching here!”

Luo Jinxiao finally smiled genuinely, her laughter lighting up her face.

Suddenly, the presence of others approached from outside, and there was a knock at the bedroom door. Qu Weiyin quickly composed herself, her voice turning cold as she commanded, “Come in.”

Luo Jinxiao instantly altered her appearance.

As the door swung open, several armored guards rushed in, lining up and staring in shock at the scene before them—Qu Weiyin and Luo Jinxiao on the bed—momentarily frozen.

They exchanged glances with the other guards who were awkwardly frozen in place outside the entrance, unsure of what to do.

“Demon lord, we saw… this situation and thought something was amiss, so we came to check. This…” one guard stammered.

At just the right moment, Luo Jinxiao lifted her robe, placing her long, straight left leg atop the bed. She tossed her dark hair back and assumed a feigned, alluring pose, reclining against Qu Weiyin.

The sudden turn of events made Qu Weiyin’s expression tighten.

“What’s wrong? Haven’t you ever seen the joys of a lady’s boudoir?” Luo Jinxiao raised an eyebrow playfully.

The guards hurriedly covered their eyes, hastily retreating from the room and colliding into one another as they scrambled out.

“Demon lord, please don’t let us ruin your mood! You continue; we’ll take our leave!”
