I smiled a little as my gaze ran over the boys as they ate. Atlas glanced up as he felt my gaze, and I chuckled. “What.” He mumbled, and I rolled my eyes.
“Nothing.” I whispered back, before feeling a sharp kick to my foot. My head snapped up, and I furrowed my eyebrows, before glaring at Rif, who was now coughing out laughs. “Eat your food Rif.” I deadpanned, and he raised his hands in defence.Â
“Not my fault. You’ve been staring at them all for like the past 10 mins. It’s a bit creepy.”
Hearing small murmurs and agreements around me, and I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. “So, you want to tell us what it’s about?” Milo piped up, and I groaned.
“I’m just very happy to have you all here. I care about you a lot.”
Atlas squinted a little in disgust. “Mhm…no.” He decided, and shoved the rest of his pancake in his mouth. “I’m leaving.” His voice was all muffled, and I glanced over to see Arlo and Colten doing the same.Â
“Yeah… no thanks Mags.” Colten grinned, before following Atlas and Arlo out of the room.
“Wha-?”
There was a small chuckle to my side, and I glanced down to see Niko patting me on the arm. “Don’t worry Mags, I’m sure they love you too.” He smiled, and I raised my eyebrows.
“That’s… not what I was going for.” I grumbled, eyes fixed on the doorway they had just gone through. “It’s not their fault they don’t want to listen to your sappy talks. Colten and Arlo never did. I’m not surprised Atlas joined them.” Cyrus shrugged, and I glared at him.
“They are not sappy!”
Milo raised his eyebrows. “Alright. Why don’t you continue what you were going to say.” He commented, and I narrowed my eyes. “Fine. I’ll just tell them later.”
I glanced around the table again, watching all their expectant gazes. “You just- I love you all a lot. And I’m glad we’re all here, all together. That we’re all healing, and that we have each other to rely on. I’m not sure what I’d do-“
“Stop. Maybe I should have left too.” Cyrus mumbled, and he went to move, before Lo grabbed his arm. Rif stifled a laugh.Â
“See Mags? Sappy.” He smiled gleefully, and I glared at him.
“Oh ok. Fine. I’m sorry for caring about you idiots.” I rolled my eyes, and Colten popped his head through the doorway.Â
“You should.” He declared righteously, and I shook my head in amusement.
“I’ll make sure never to tell you again.”
Niko looked at me. “Tell us what?”
“That I love you.”
I glanced around with a smirk as we all heard Arlo and Colten stomp back into the room, mumbling something about unfairness and trickery. Atlas had a glare on his face as Arlo dragged him in too, and didn’t dare look at me. I raised my eyebrows. “Oh? You’re back, hm?”
Atlas sighed loudly, and Colten groaned. “No- just- Mags-“
“I know.” I chuckled. “I love you all.”
Atlas pinched the bridge of his nose as I said it, and I grinned. “What? You don’t agree Atlas?” I drawled, and he glowered at me.Â
“I’m leaving. Again.” His eyes narrowed at the last word, before shaking off Arlo’s hand, and moving up the stairs.Â
“It’s okay Mags. I’m sure he loved us too.” Cyrus chirped, and I raised my eyebrows at his optimistic tone.
“Yeah.” Arlo grumbled. “Sure.”
He then followed Atlas, Colten in tow, but not before Colten sent me a small salute, and a cheeky grin. I chuckled good naturedly, and Riftyn raised his eyebrows. “You know Mags~”
Hearing the tone in his voice, I sent him a glare, which he ignored. “Wouldn’t you like to hear them say they love us? I have a couple of ways to make them~”
Niko shifted a little beside me, and I glanced down to see a small blush on his face. “See? Niko would like to see that. And it seems Ever would too.”
Ever sat beside Milo, and they both were covering their faces as I chuckled. “Right. And how do you plan on doing that Rif?”
Riftyn grinned, a gleam in his eye. “That’s nothing you need to worry about right now.” He smirked, and I furrowed my eyebrows. “Rif…”
He sighed. “Fine, fine, fine. I was going to tell you anyway-” He grinned, and I rolled my eyes. “We’ll get Atlas, Arlo, and Colten to top,”
The four younger boys at the table blushed heavily, turning their faces away, causing a smirk to appear on Rif’s face.Â
“And then we’ll have them whisper that they love them as the boys go to sleep, before we pick them all up and fuck them against the table!” He exclaimed loudly, and I groaned, pinching the bridge of my nose. Riftyn had a proud smile on his face, and his eyes were lit up, making me pause a little.Â
“Do you know how humiliating it would be for them to be fucked against the table?” he whispered excitedly, and I shook my head in amusement.
“You do you Rif. I’ll watch.”
Riftyn’s eyes widened, before he nodded eagerly. “Wooo. Ok. Ok. Thank you!” He chirped, planting a kiss on my forehead before sprinting out of the room.
“I’m a little concerned Mags. You sure you should have said yes?” Niko mumbled, and I grinned.
“It’ll be fun to watch.” I shrugged, and he sent me a horrified look.
“What? Is that the only reason you said yes?”
I kept silent, and Cyrus groaned. “I thought you were saying you loved us.” He grumbled, and Ever nodded in agreement.
“Yeah.” He sent me a glare.
I raised my hands in defence, shrugging casually. “Trust me, you’ll enjoy it too.” I told them, a nonchalant expression on my face, and Milo punched my arm.Â
“That’s not the point!” He whispered loudly.
I looked at him. “Wh- why are you whispering?” my eyebrows furrowed, and he sent me a dark look, eyes flickering between myself and the doorway.Â
“Because,” He whispered frantically. “Colten and them are at the door!”
That shut me up. My eyes widened, and hearing a small cough behind me, I turned, scratching the back of head, with a sheepish look on my face. “H- hey, Arlo… and… friends?” I sent them all a grin, which wasn’t returned.Â
“We’re gonna get you.” Arlo grumbled, peering at the door. “No way will Riftyn stop his little plan now.”
Atlas only sighed loudly, before pushing past us all to go sit on the couch. “It’s alright. We’ll just plan against it.”
The way Colten’s eyes lit up scared me a little. “Yeah! Okay. And uh… how will we plan against them?” He asked, and Atlas pinched the bridge of his nose, before motioning for Arlo and Colten to come a little closer. Arlo turned around to face the rest of us at the table, narrowing his eyes.Â
“This is the part where you leave.” He drawled, and I pointed at myself.
“Me?”
He sent me a glare. “Yes. You.”
Ever grumbled a little as he grabbed me hand, and I smiled in amusement as we left. Arlo’s hushed voice soon faded out as we went up the stairs, and I couldn’t help but try and linger as to hear their plan before Niko pushed me up.Â
“Do you really want to hear their plan?” He raised his eyebrows. “It’ll be very scary. And… scary. Arlo really didn’t look to happy.”
“You uh- you got a pretty good point there.” I mumbled, before following him up the stairs.
At least I’ll get to watch.
