A/N
I’ve found so many mistakes in my writing that it’s not even funny but it is.. reading through one of my older chapters Grayson and Hunter don’t even have PE together.. but y’know, I’ll try to fix it somehow lol. Sorry for my stupidity. 😂
Make sure to check out the song above btw ^^

The kiss lasted for a good 10 seconds, me not knowing if I should pull away or what. I was confused and having mixed feelings for Dylan. I just didn’t know how to react.
If I pulled away then it might hurt his feelings, but I didn’t want to kiss him any longer because I didn’t have any attraction other than physical for him.
And besides that, I barely even knew the guy. I mean sure he was attractive, but I’d only known him for a couple days so I didn’t even know what his personality was like.
Once we’d pulled apart I just stood there for a moment, stunned and confused.
What exactly was I supposed to say?
It was just an awkward situation that I wanted to get out of as soon as possible. When I turned back around Grayson was gone, the only people left in the locker room was Dylan and me.
“Uh, w-what was that for?” I stuttered, blinking a couple times to make sure that I wasn’t dreaming.
Dylan shrugged.
“I like you.”
“Well, um, I’ve only known you for like, two days.”
Dylan just shrugged again.
“Does that mean that I can’t like you?”
“Well, I guess not, but…” I trailed off, unsure of what to say.
“Why’d you kiss me?” I mumbled.
“Because, I like you.”
The situation was so fucking awkward that I just wished it would end already.
“I should probably go, the bell’s gonna ring soon.” I mumbled more to myself, grabbing my stuff and leaving the locker room. As I walked through the gym the bell rang, then I tried to remember what class I had next.
I pulled my schedule out of my backpack and saw geography that was my next class, letting out an annoyed sigh. I didn’t know anybody in geography, which sucked ’cause that meant that I was gonna be all by my lonesome.
Once I found geography I trudged inside, plopping down at my desk and laying my head down.
I closed my eyes, silently waiting for the bell to ring. Once Miss Miller entered the room the bell rang, signaling the start of class.
“Alright, everyone grab a book. We’re starting a new lesson today.” Miss Miller announced to the class, a smile adorning her face.
Everyone groaned, including me. I didn’t even know what you learned in this class, but it just sounded boring.
We ended up learning about maps or some shit, then eventually the class was over and the lunch bell rang.
I jumped out of my seat and grabbed my things, rushing to the cafeteria. Gotta get a good place to sit.
Once I’d gotten my tray I sat down with Ty, then Hadley joined us a little while later.
“Hello my fellow gay friends.” She said with a bright smile, taking a sip of her tea. “You guys should come over to mine after school. I’m trying to decide what I should wear to Crystal’s party Saturday.”
“I’ll come. I’m gay and have a very stereotypical fashion sense.” I grinned, biting into one of my chicken nuggets.
“Sounds like a plan.” Ty agreed with a nod.
We continued talking for a while and eventually Dylan came over and sat with us.
“Hey Hunter.” He said with a small smile.
“Hey Dylan.” I smiled back at him, trying to hide my awkwardness but failing miserably.
It was impossible to not act weird around him.
I mean, he didn’t just kiss me for no reason. He had to have a reason for it! For god sake, I’ve only known the guy for two days, relationships don’t move that fast!
And not to mention, I don’t have any feelings for Dylan in that way. I mean, sure he’s hot and everything, but he’s not someone I’d be interested in having a relationship with.
Like, maybe a fuck buddies status, but nothing more than that. Just a strictly physical relationship. And even then, I wouldn’t wanna have a relationship like that because on the inside I’m a gooey marshmallow with a lot of feels..
People just assume that ’emo’ people don’t have any feelings towards people but that is far from true. I just don’t always catch feels that easily.
But I’ve definitely got ’em for Grayson.
“Hunter.” Dylan snapped his fingers in my face, catching my attention.
“Sorry, what’d you say?” I asked, turning my attention back to Dylan.
“I said are you going to the party this weekend?”
“Oh yeah, probably. I need something to wear though.”
“Just wear something similar to what you’ve got on now. You’re looking pretty fine right now.” He gestured to the button down shirt and skinny jeans I was wearing, which in my opinion, looked pretty good on me.
“Thanks…” I mumbled, suddenly feeling awkward again.
“Man, Hunter’s already got someone after him on his second day of school. I’ve been here for three years and no ones hit me up!” Ty shouted, seemingly annoyed. “Why can’t I get any of the hoes?!”
“Maybe it’s because you’re a loud and flamboyant gay kid. I mean, it seems like there are plenty of homophobes around here, just for the record.”
“Yeah, I would agree with that. But at least you’re not one of them.” Dylan smiled, leaning his head on my shoulder. I tensed up for a moment, then relaxed, forcing a smile.
Just like he could sense my uncomfortableness, Ty gestured for me to stand up.
“Hey Hunter, come with me to the vending machine.”
I nodded my head and stood up, letting out a sigh of relief.
I didn’t know how much longer I could stand that awkwardness.
“God, thank you for that. It was so fucking awkward, I legit don’t know why he kissed me this morning, but it made things so weird between us. Like dude, it makes me think of that song Kissing Strangers by DNCE.” I sighed, running a hand through my already messy hair.
“Yeah, I feel like he’s up to something, but I don’t know what.” Ty said, looking deep in thought.
“Well whatever the reason he did it, he should leave me out of it. I don’t like Dylan it that way at all, so he needs to back off a little.”
Ty nodded in agreement, then bought a bag of Fritos from the vending machine.
“We should probably head back now. Maybe he went back to his table since we left him with Hadley. She probably interrogated the guy.” Ty snickered, heading back to the lunch room.
“Hopefully he left.” I sighed, following Ty back into the cafeteria.
