Damien
I push open the front door, ready to lay down and sleep. I pulled an all nighter trying to finish up an assignment that I thought I finished last week, but I just ended up falling asleep before completely finishing.
I toss my bag on the floor and collapse on the sofa. The back of my head resting on the arm of the sofa as I take a deep breath in and exhale before closing my eyes.
I felt weight on either side of my head, along with a shadow blanketing my face. I knew it was either Milo or Caleb, I smirked, curiously wondering which one of them it was.
Opening my eyes I saw that it was Milo, with a content smile on his face, his hands resting on the arm of the sofa, caging my head.
“Hey.” He greeted.
“Hey person I’m going out with.” I responded amusingly. He rolled his eyes.
“Why do you have to put it like that? It sounds like we’re fake dating.”
“Am I wrong? Are you a person I’m going out with?” I raise a brow.
“I hate you.” He leans down and places a chaste kiss on my lips. After a few seconds he pulls away with a small smile.
“I love you too.” I push up and peck his nose. He hm’s with content before walking around the sofa and sitting on my lap.
“How was your day?” He asks.
“Tiring, I had to pull an all nighter to just barely finish my essay. I hope I got at an A, but I don’t think so since it was rushed at the end. Anyways , I was about to take a nap” I let out a yawn.
“I’ll let you sleep then.” He attempts to hop off me, but I hold him down by his hips.
“Where are you going?” I flip our positions, I lay in-between his legs, my head resting on his stomach as it slowly raises and sinks down from his breathing.
“So your love language is physical touch?” He guesses and I chuckle, wrapping my arms around his torso.
“I wonder how you figured it out.” I sarcastically respond before feeling warm chills electrocute through my body as he runs his fingers in my hair.
“So sassy.” He chuckled.
“Where’s Caleb?”
“He went out with his family for dinner. He said they go out to eat as a family every other month. Him, His brother, Mom, and his Dad. I think that’s nice.”
“I wish my family did that, maybe actually got to know me as a person.” I grumbled.
“Well, you have Me, and Caleb. What if we went on a date somewhere?”
“Are you asking me on a date brownie.”
“You know I hate when people call me that.” He thumps my forehead, which stung a bit.
“How come? I think it’s cute.” I lift my head up to look up at him, he sighs.
“I was made fun of in elementary and middle school because of my last name.”
“Sorry.” I respond with guilt stinging me in my chest.
“It’s fine.” He lays my head back onto his stomach, and runs a hand through my locks.
“What’s your love language?” I questioned, humming contentfully as his fingers worked their hidden magic on my head.
“Hm… guess.”
“Physical touch?”
“Nope.”
“Words of Affirmation?”
“Nope.” He giggles, which makes me curious. I expected words of affirmation to be his love language.
“What is it?”
“Quality time.”
I press a kiss on his stomach, “I wonder what Caleb’s is? I wanna guess, physical touch?”
“I think Words of Affirmation, or Acts of service.” Milo added, which I disagreed with, but everyone has their opinions.
“We’ll ask him, when he gets back.” I felt myself slowly succumbing to sleep, sluggishly trying to continue my conversation with him, but miserably failing.
~~~
I heard giggling before my eyes fluttered open. My face still pushed in Milo’s stomach as he lightly snores with his hands resting on my back and in my hair.
I look up and see Caleb snapping a picture of us. “This is definitely becoming my wallpaper.” He smiled, showing the picture to me.
“How was your day?” I mumble, still tired from just waking up.
“It was excelente, mà papá fake proposed to my mamá so we could get a free dinner.” He explained with a chuckle.
I enjoyed hearing him mixing spanish with his sentence and loved when his accent popped out. “Say something romantic to me in Spanish.”
He thought for a minute, “Espero casarme con ustedes algún dÃa.” He said happily with a smile, a coat of blush flushing his cheeks. ( I hope to marry you guys one day.)
“Already thinking ahead?” A sluggish voice emerged from above me. I look up to a tired Milo smiling. Which makes me curious. What did he say.
“What did he say?”
“Nothing.” Milo pants my head which only makes me more curious before looking at Caleb.
“Tell me, what did you say?”
“Nada de dormilón.” He giggles, and I roll my eyes before sitting up. (Nothing sleepyhead)
“Fuck you guys.”
“Yea, yea.” Milo brushed off, which I flipped him off, which he rolled his eyes at. “Caleb, what’s your love language?”
“Huh? Why?”
“Before we went to sleep we were wondering.” Milo sits up, stretching his arms out above his head before letting them rest back in his lap.
“I have two actually.” Caleb walks over and lays on us, his head rests on Milo’s thighs, his legs drape over mine, and his butt rests on the space between Me and Milo.
“Physical touch and Words of Affirmation?”
“Words of Affirmation and Acts of service?”
“Milo was right. Wow Damien, I guess you don’t know much about me.” Caleb gave a dramatic sigh, which made me roll my eyes.
“I’ll learn more about you along the way.” I say as I gently began to caress his calf.
“I’m guessing yours is physical touch, and Milo’s is… Acts of Service?”
“Nope, Quality time.” Milo pushed Caleb’s brown curls out of his face.
The front door opened before footsteps became louder as they reached the living room. Turning my head it was Cameron, not to my surprise, he lives here and brought the house.
“Sup”
“Hey Cam.”
“Hey.”
“Hey guys. So… are y’all together?” His brow raised at us curiously.
“Yea.”
