Dianthus Caryophyllus; A Soonhoon Fic 15

Parties were not my favourite to say the least. It was too much noice, light, sounds and there was also alcohol. I could not hold my alcohol very well. What started out as a normal karaoke session with our in-built mini karaoke system on our tv became a full blown drinking session with me and soonyoung obviously not taking any shots because we were still recovering. 

This party was better than usual but I could not help find something weird was happening. Dino kept talking to soonyoung the entire time about the choreo for the title track but didn’t we finalise it already???? And Jeonghan hyung keeps staring at me and talking to me too. 

Suddenly, I felt something at the back of my throat. The feeling was all too familiar but it had not bothered me much for the past 2 weeks. So why now? I swallowed again and again to try and force the contents down. I looked in the direction of soonyoung. Oh no, wrong decision. The petals threatened to come out even faster. I hurriedly ran to the bathroom, slamming the door behind me and heaving into the toilet bowl, the silky feeling of the petals and the coppery taste of blood filling my mouth yet again. I slid down the wall, tired. 

“Ji! open the door!” I heard soonyoung pant out from behind the door. 

“I’m coming in.”

He walked into the dark room, flushing the toilet and slowly helping me wash up. I was shaken after the hard hit after so long of not having it. He slowly walked me back to the living room, the others eyes trailed on us, worried. 

“I’m fine.” I shook his hand off my shoulder and went over to sit on the couch, totally ignoring him. He seemed hurt but I did not care. 

“Hey, let’s play truth or dare!” Jeonghan hyung shouted.

We all groaned as truth or dare with Jeonghan was always devilish. But we knew that nothing was to stop him when he was serious so we all agreed and sat in a circle, with me, jun, dino hoshi on the couch.

“OK I will start!” Jeonghan spun the bottle while everyone waited with batted breaths. The dares given by jeonghan were the worse ever. 

The bottle spun on its axis slowly, until it landed on dino.

“Truth or dare!”

“Truth”

“Do you like anyone in the group?”

He only nodded in reply. 

“ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo” everyone cooed while dino hid his face in his arms, face red.

“Who is it!”

“Only one question hyung!”

Dino then spun the bottle and it landed on Mingyu.

“Truth or dare hyung”

“Truth”

“Do you masterbate while thinking about wonwoo hyung?”

Everyone turned their heads to dino at the question.

“WHat?!”

“You are supposed to stay pure. The rest of the members are too dirty already. You need some holy water to cleanse your dirty soul.” Joshua said.

“I’m not a baby anymore hyungs! I am 22!”

“Nah you are forever the baby of the group.” Scoups said causing dino to groan.

“Mingyu Hyung! answer the question.”

Everyone whipped their head to look at Mingyu now, except wonwoo who was still glaring daggers at dino for the extremely disturbing question.

“Y-Yes…” Mingyu’s face was beet red and wonwoo hyung whose face mirrored Mingyu’s started hiding himself behind Mingyu’s gigantic body.

“Are you guys not a couple? Why so nervous tsk.” Jeonghan scoffed.

The two of them ignored Jeonghan’s remark while everyone else laughed.

Mingyu then spun the bottle and it landed on joshua.

“Shua Hyung truth or dare.”

“Dare”

“I dare you to make out with Jeonghan hyung right now for a minute.”

This hit joshua right on the spot because he being the ‘holy’ boy in the group never did anything PDA in front of any of them. The most was maybe cuddles or hugs. He was uncomfortable with doing it in public.

“Shua, come on. We did it before just not in front of them… Just make sure dino’s eyes are covered”

“Hey HYUNG! I AM NOT A BABY!”

“Shush dino you are always the baby”

Jeonghan seeing a bit of hesitation in joshua moved closer to him and hugged him, whispering in his ear “shua issok if you are not ready to do it in public.”

“I’ll do it”

“You sure?”

“Yea.”

They leaned in, lips molded into each other perfectly. The kiss started out slow, sensual, hesitant but slowly turned into a full on make out, with tongues added in the midst. Suddenly, the beeping of an alarm signaled one minute and as they pulled away, their lips were slightly swollen and faces red. 

“You okay?” Jeonghan whispered into Joshua’s ear.

“yea. Thanks for making me comfortable with it.”

Jeonghan just smiled in reply. 

The bottle was once again spun on its axis. Those who have not been called suddenly all had this “As long it is not me” thought as everyone knew whatever joshua asked was highly influenced by Jeonghan. 

The bottle spun to woozi, jun, dino, hoshi, the8, but moved back and stopped at hoshi.

“Truth or dare.”

Whatever going through hoshi’s mind at that moment was something like this. If it was truth they are going to ask me what happened 6 years ago and I would have to talk about my secret. If its dare then it would be probably something to do with woozi. Which is worst? Should I just take the risk and say dare. I think dare is better.

“Dare.”

Hoshi could see that jeonghan suddenly leaned in and whispered in joshua’s ear, causing a smirk to form on both of their faces.

“No-No I mean Truth.”

“Too bad you can’t change!” Everybody chided.

“Play 7 minutes in heaven with woozi.”

Fuck. The thought in both hoshi and woozi’s mind as they looked at each other. The look on their faces looked as if they wanted to chicken out but it was impossible with the other 11 members around. Hoshi only sighed and slowly stood up using his crutches. 

“Ji, go.” Jeonghan hyung whispered. 

He only groaned in response before moving to the staircase slowly, surely killing his hyung later and entering the closet there with hoshi. 

PS: The truth or dare games are inspired by the stuff my friends do to me and the games I have read in other books. The 7 minutes in heaven continues on the next chapter.
