Ayan’s POV

Suddenly I start piecing together my memories, I remember how he was surprised when I told him not to report me to the prince,how people trembled before him,the respect, and………of course the guard of fifty we went hunting with!
How could I not see what is right infront of me! A Falcon is the royal symbol of Jalen,the prince bears this name….
A few minutes later,my falcon stirs next to me,he sniffs my hair and hugs me like a bear to his body,I wiggle against him till I wince in pain.
Falcon,ahhh…Malik ….wakes up and looks alarmed,
“Did I hurt you?” He asks
“A little” I reply smiling
He smiles back and kisses me on lips, I kiss him back till his mother bursts into the room,I pull back hurriedly from him but Falcon grabs my face and leans in to kiss me again,I try to stop him,
“But your mother?” I start
“Shouldn’t bother a couple in the morning” he says and goes on to kiss me,small intoxicating kisses,till his mother says
“Ohh is that so?”
“Mother, go to father so he can kiss you” Falcon says
She stutters dramatically,
“But the nerve of this boy!” She replies
They continue bickering back and forth while Falcon kisses me a little and then they continue
I am so lucky that I get to be part of such a great family. Who knew the Queen was such a drama Queen?? She argues back and forth with her son,I think she almost jumped on the bed to strangle him! She’s lovely and fun.
“…….anyway,I had come to invite you for breakfast, council meeting soon. Hope your feeling better future consort,your so lovely unlike someone I know,the doctor will come by later”she says
“Alright we’ll come” Falcon replies.
We dress up for breakfast and it was such a hearty meal. We head back to our quarters,I sit on the bed,
“So….uh…do I call you Your Highness, Malik or Falcon” I ask
“Your my lover,my future consort,you can call me anything” he replies
“Anything?” I ask
“Yes,my love” he says
“I’ll call you Falcon,its the name of the man I fell in love with” I say shyly.
“The doctor is here” someone announces.

Falcon’s POV

I gently place him on the bed while I strip him and clean his body. His face is a bright red.
Then the doctor comes in to check him,
I hurry and cover him up,
“Sire,I need to examine him”the good old doctor says
“But he is naked” I say,my possessiveness acting up.
Both Ayan and the doctor laugh and he says,
“I promise not to linger and do it as fast as I can”
“Alright” I say
But the whole time the doctor was examining him, I kept glaring at him.
After rubbing ointments on him,I cover him and lay next to him,
“You were so jealous” he says laughing
“You are mine and I love you, no one is supposed to look at you except me” I reply
He blushes looking shy and says,
“I love you too” he replies
I kiss his lips and hold him for a while.

At the Council Meeting……..

Falcons’ POV
I stride into the meeting with Ayan by my side and mother and father in front of us. We are wearing our Royal robes and crowns,we settle down then father amnounces,
“Yesterday, a great mistake was committed! An innocent was accused and he was not given the right to defend himself. Per Jalen custom, we pride ourselves on justice given fairly. Today,the issue will be solved and the guilty punished.The Prince Malik is in charge of the case”. He says
The committee I set to investigate the case stand up and hands me a report. I stand up to read it,
” When it was discovered that I was poisoned, no investigation was carried out. It was just assumed Ayan did it. He was tortured,unfairly tried and wasn’t allowed to speak. No one in the meeting questioned these irregularities. Finally, the people who planned this have been discovered.
“Bring me my battle sword!!!” I bark. Whoever was involved in this case step up.
All the culprits fell down on their knees,
“We plead for mercy your highness” they beg
I take my sword out of its sheath,I walk towards them my sword grating on the ground,
“Speak and your punishment will be lessened!” I say
“I will confess your highness” someone speaks up
“Your highness,i am Yasin,my lover is Shafiq’s assistant, on the day you were poisoned,he came to see me and he asked about Ayan then later i saw him go to the kitchen,he gave a certain spice to give Ayan to add the food. I didn’t know it was poison. He said it was imported,am sorry your highness”he says crying
” Take him to the dungeon” I say
He bows and allows to be taken,I see Ayan jump up to protest, but I hold up my hand to stop him. He sits back down.
The investigators,guards, council members all confess and I send them to the dungeon. This issue is bigger than it looks,its just the spark to something else.
“Go and detain Shafiq and his uncle the noble,we now know why they skipped the meeting, they are up to something.!”

“Come here,Ayan” I hold out my hand to him.
He comes to me and I announce,
“In front of the Royal family, nobles, my subjects,according to custom, I claim Ayan as my lover,my love,husband, and future consort of Jalen. Will you accept me,my love?” I kneel down and bow my head
“Yes,I agree to be by your side as your lover,husband and consort.” He replies. Everyone stands up clapping while I give him the royal consort ring and ruby red necklace.
I kiss him softly and hug him to me.
“When are you marrying him?” Mother shouts
“In a few weeks” I shout back
“You better do it soon or else” she threatens
We laugh and head to the banquet we had prepared for everyone.
