Falcon’s POV(unedited)
Dressed in my military attire together with my consort by my side,my loyal guard of fifty,Yasin and Mustafa.
We say goodbye to the king and quern plus princess Sharifa. She hugs her newly found son and so does the queen. They wish us luck and we head out towards Jalen.

I pleaded with Ayan to stay back so he will be safe but he took my face in his hands and said,
“I am the future consort, the people of Jalen are also my people, I grew up there all my life,how can I just sit back and watch them suffer?”
“But Ayan….” I try to say
“A man should stay by the side of the man he loves no matter what,if we fall,we fall together, I always want to be with you,”Ana bahebak,(I love you)”
“I love you,my Ayan” I say with emotion and hug him. At that moment, i am not a prince or anything, just a man in love with his consort, pulling strength from him.

After a long tiresome ride,we finally reach our beloved Jalen, we all unmount our horses and kneel down in reverence and kiss the land. Though a dark cloud looms above it,we are happy to be home.
We enter Jalen from the South side this time. We want to enter undetected and sneak into mother’s palace that side. The day my mother got married, the king built her a secret palace in the south. That’s where we are meeting with father’s loyal commanders to discuss strategy and prepare.

We have to continue the journey on foot so as not to attract attention to us. We have walked for long but my Ayan hasn’t complained even once, he is being brave though he isn’t a soldier.

Finally, in the horizon, we pass a huge column. I push a secret stone and a stairway opens.we pass through a tunnel and behold! Mother’s grand palace.
The palace is made of marble and its shaped like a dome. Its white and red and has lush gardens around it. There is a water fall just to the left and a beautiful stone way leading to the house.
We enter and as soon as mother spots us,she runs towards us. She is also dressed in military attire,Ayan looks surprised at this and she notices,
“A Queen stands by the side of her king as a consort stands by his king no matter what” she says
“And Falcon was trying to stop me” Ayan says
“How dare you Malik?” It’s his right,if your father dared to stop me,I would slice his face! ” mother says
“That is absolutely true” Father says coming towards us
“Welcome back home son,and my other son Ayan” he continues
He hugs me and also hugs Ayan.
The Queen hugs us too and says,
“You better give my son-in-law his uniform, he is part of the family and our clan fights,we don’t hide”.

After several arguments and discussions,we finally agreed that we would meet the enemy and fight,our allies were already notified but first,spies were sent to assess the situation before we come up with a specific battle plan.

That night, Ayan and I lie in the grass looking up at the stars.
” stars are a sign that all will be well” Ayan says
“Yes,we will weather this threat and our Jalen will be ours once again and bustling with life” I reply

Ayan throws his leg over mine and comes chest to chest with me,he entwines our fingers and leans down to capture my lips in a searing kiss. I give back as much my hands going around his body to bring his closer. Evert moment counts starting now.
