We were gathered in the conference room for hours, the spies had returned with information and a battle strategy was being discussed.
I couldn’t stop looking at Falcon. I had never really seen him as a soldier but today I did. In this moment, he was a general and the soldier he was. Discussing battle plans and strategies with ease. Dissecting and revealing flaws in plans. He was the ruthless Prince and leader who will do anything to protect the people who he leads,the people who worship and follow him. They trust him with their lives. Even now they were ready to stand by their Prince to defend their lands.
Our allies had already arrived. The spies reported that they traitors were in the East,gatherings troops and hiring mercenaries. They were attacking sooner than we thought. Possibly tomorrow, so we had to be prepared. Much as our number was greater,they had hired the Tamil mercenaries,who were deadly and had never lost a battle.
A surprise attack was needed to gain advantage over them.
Even my parents and Yasin’s were here to support us.
After final plans were made, everyone headed out to their assigned quarters.
Tonight was a special night. Maybe the last for some. War was never an easy thing. Losses were incurred on both sides.
My warrior was also going out there, I had to squeeze in any time I could with him.

As much as am afraid of loosing him and scared for him, I stay strong and be brave. A prince supports his consort no matter what.
When they finally leave, I turn to my mother for strength,
” I know how you feel,many times, I had to watch your father and my brother the king go out to battle, but Hadijjah and I had to stay strong for the sake of the kingdom,have faith in him” She says hugging me.
The Queen Hadijjah comes with Yasin and I see he is trying to be strong too.
My parents in law come and Falcon’s mother says,
“Don’t worry,they will return, he is a true Prince, a true Prince fights and will do anything for the ones they love.
