Matt sighed for the umpteenth time, grabbing a sanitizer on a nearby shelf as he disinfected his hand again. He just finished the most popular role-playing game, Burning Desire.
It is about a young prince whose goal is to obtain everything in the world while along the way he met the other main interests, and they waged war to the other kingdoms with the same goal of defeating the Villain.
Cliche as it is, no one could blame you because it was truly cringe. And if you are looking for the heroine, then there is no heroine…every character can be the love partner of the male interest(s); so basically, it can be a straight romance, a no-romance, or even a boy’s love romance.
Some girls went to bl mode though.
Matt already read the backstories of each character even those mob ones and also the Villain’s.
“It was tragic that he lost his sanity and died by the hands of his brother who did not have the chance to meet him when they were younger, haah.”
He said in sorrow before looking in front of him reading the comments displayed on his screen.
“You’re right, the love he didn’t get and the acceptance of his people, he was at the top but died stuck at the bottom….”
He’s sad for the villain who died at the end, he thought that after he came back, he will just be a regular mob but a Villain’s a villain; he is designed that way.
Even if he wasn’t the main character at least let the Villain live, his past is already miserable, and you want to end it the most miserable way too? (。♋‸♋｡).
Several comments keep on popping out on his screen, but a weird one caught his attention. He can’t help but frown as he read it.
“If you want to change the Villain’s fate, stand in front of a mirror; turn the lights off, light three candles and say Burning Desire three times”
The weird comment not only caught his eye but many commentors too, they said that it must be a joke and to stop messing with matt because its creepy.
“It’s okay, guys, don’t worry I won’t believe it…then I’ll see you next time.”
He waved goodbye and exited his live. Today is Valentines Day and he’s still single, now don’t get him wrong, he was a balance between handsome and pretty, okay? Much like the average but still caught many eyes.
He had smooth tan skin and two golden brown eyes, a freckled cheeks with his neck full of enticing beauty marks and raven black mullet hair color and style.
Spraying a good amount of alcohol in his hand as he faces the mirror in his bathroom.
“I’m so beautiful I’d fuck myself, ” he licks his lips with sexual tension between him and himself occupying the air around him.
He’d get a boyfriend by now if he wasn’t just so…so…overly self-loving. He was so confident that even dirt would shy away from him, and he wasn’t worthy of anyone because he is a diamond in a place full of gems.
What a way to describe such germophobic guy.
” Well let’s try it. “, he first turned the lights off in the room and only three candles were his source of light.
“I feel like I’m calling a ghost out of this mirror, oh well here goes nothing.”
He prayed first already entrusting his life to his angels if he ever had one.
“Burning desire…. burning…desire…”
His words became deaf to his ears feeling like he was in an open field with winds engulfing his body. The candles flame danced as if it was entranced amusing matt to whatever summoning this is.
“Burning desire.“, he finally said it three times and a deafening silence engulfed the room.
” See? Bull-“
Before he could finish his sentence; hands started appearing out of the mirror reaching to him making him panic but his body did not move seemingly paralyzed from fear.
“We’ve been waiting for you.”

Matt found himself opening his eyes of course and the vast field of green entered his vision. Tall trees with fruits, it may be poison, it may be not.
The butterflies..erm…they look like scorpions with wings in his eyes though.
Looking around he saw many beasts laying on the ground dead as if a blood had been shed.
“The fuq…”
“You said I could kill them…”
A voice said with the most obvious tone it could muster. Flinching by the baritone voice, matt frowned with the most pissed expression.
“Who.are.you”, the voice inside him chuckles in amusement reading the thoughts in matt’s mind.
“Brat, be careful with your tongue or I’ll cut it.”
Matt snicker looking at his hands before dropping the saber with a disgusting look, he decided he’ll talk with the baritone male after he…. –
“After I take a bath, I can’t be smelling like dad’s socks…”
The male inside his head who heard him became curious, so he asks him what he meant only to be ignored irking him as banged his fist in matt’s head.
“Brat! I’m talking to you! Oi! Oi! Oi!!!!!!”
“Shut up, you lanky man!”
And after that the male inside his head finally shut his mouth crying silently and promised himself after getting out of this brat’s body, he’ll push him down.
Oh, wait, that sounds wrong…（∵）？
Matt found a lake nearby with grasshoppers around it. He carefully took off his bloodied clothes before dipping in the water with refreshing sigh.
“Dirt…my clothes are dirty….and..holy sanitizers!!”, he exclaimed in horror upon looking at his reflection.
His scarlet red hair is now free from dirt and his dark forest green eyes that had a tint of gold circling his irises. His horrified expression only shown in his eyes, as his heart-like shaped lips turned red.
“That’s weird…”
“You forgot that when you become flustered or dumbfounded your lips turns redder…”, the baritone voice informed with clear amusement in his tone.
Even weirder…
“Who are you, you perverted man!?”
Matt spat in annoyance as his mind process every detail of his face; vaguely remembering where he had seen it.
“Tch, how many times─ never mind. I am the demon inside you, Sejin~“
Lightning struck as he remembered now. Yes, many pair of hands reached out to him and pulled him in the mirror and when he woke up, he was like…. this.
He woke up as Sejin Varlette, the villain of the [Burning Desire], the villain whose mind was sealed, and body occupied by another entity.
“If I’m Sejin then you must be that ‘monster’.”
The male in his head scoff as if finding the word humorous. Matt buried his whole body inside the water, smoothing his tangled scarlet hair.
“I am a demon not a monster, hah, funny how they described me as a ‘monster’.”
Matt snort clearly not amused by the male’s claim. I mean aren’t they the same? Idiot. But then how come does this monster inside him know that he will come. What’s going on. It’s as if he anticipated his arrival.
“I could hear your thoughts, kid. Don’t worry I’ll explain it, this game or if prefer, this world is back to its timeslot. After the tragic ending of the [villain], we regained consciousness, seeing that the same ending will happen we called for you.”
“What-“
“Let me finish. So, as I was saying, I do not want the same thing to happen, and I don’t want Sejin to lose his sanity again.”
Matt pondered a bit, he knew this, actually when Sejin was born the demon is already in his body, he was not possessed as the others said, the demon only helped him to erase his emotions.
Sejin never wanted to go back in his kingdom, but those Blacks were after his country and he needed to at least serve his country even for the last time, he helped his brother from the shadows, but they thought that he was the root of all, the patriarch of the blacks.
He was accused, that was the story not written in his file because it was unnecessary. Accused and then executed by his brother.
He didn’t need to voice out his reason because in the public’s eyes, he will always remain the villain.
After explaining everything to the new soul in Sejin’s body, the demon whose name was Levi, continued their journey in search of the heart of the forest after matt fussed about his clothes so they had to take the last remaining clothe inside his ring.
Sejin is already halfway his backstory, and the main storyline will start soon, according to Levi, Sejin hid in this forest after escaping from the Ice holder hunters. He couldn’t get out of the forest because of many savage beasts roaming around.
From land beasts to sky beasts. Levi also told him that this is the Halamaian Forest, this forest is full of rare herbs and fruits but due to the abnormal amount of beast no one has ever come in/out of the forest.
Darkness engulfed the whole forest once the sun sets and the moon ascended in the night skies. Sejin sat on top of a tree branch watching the night beast crawl out from their hiding places, each of them illuminating luciferin placed on their back or forearm.
“They’re beautiful, aren’t they?”, Levi’s voice echoed in his mind as nodded in agreement.
‘Hmm, they are…’
A loud howl of pain resonated in the forest and the luciferin beasts crawled back in their homes whimpering submissively.
“Looks like we got an alpha beast on sight. Go and tame it, brat.”, Levi said with a smirk plastered on his face whilst Matt shivered in disgust.
“Eww, that magic beast? Are you blind? That beast is full of dirt, I can see it from up here, blah!”
He gagged and million reasons and what ifs flooded his mind like overflowing river. The beast covered its body with dirt as to disguise when hunting its prey but because other deer-beast spotted him, he made his aura known.
An Alpha beast is a dominant breed of beast, it feeds of meat and blood, really not a fan of leaf and grass. It also has endless amount of mana energy and when they die, they’ll become the forest’s fertilizer.
“What are you going to do about it?”, Matt watches the wild beast run after its prey devouring them ’till the bones cannot be seen. Levi tched in annoyance, normally the real Sejin would not question his demands but now…hais.
“The alpha beasts has a stronger body than other beasts because it feeds of other life force as to say meat and blood. If they eat enough life force, they’ll evolve into beast men.”
Levi explained with pride knowing that his knowledge helped an uncultured soul. He can only provide the original Sejin with knowledge of magic, but the current Sejin will surely need him more than anything.
“And so? What’s your point?”, he asks whilst raising his eyebrows with attitude.
“Tame it so I can enter its body.”
“Ew! You’re going to penetrate it!? Where is your moral!!”
Matt whisper-yelled with visible horror in his eyes; well looks like he got the wrong idea.
“Wha- no! That’s not what I meant!!!”, and this incident is matt’s most horrifying moment.

➥ Magical beasts are the pure type of beast so if a demon possesses them, their skin color would turn darker than normal however if a demon possesses a Dominant, the chemical bond in their body will fight each other; whoever wins get to keep the body.
