When the day of the war actually came, vegas was nervous but he won’t let his father see it. He adjusted his figure before the mirror and with a deep sigh he left the mansion with his dad.
The major family was shocked by the sudden attack except for korn.

Korn: Just do as I say….. We just need to break his(vegas) heart. Then everything will be easy for me and he will be yours(tawan’s)

Korn planned it all. To get rid of his brother’s family. He knows that kan will try to win him so he used pete… to be honest used Pete’s love against vegas.
When he found tawan he can’t be more happy he kept it secret and he know tawan is stupid enough to do anything for vegas. So, he convinced tawan to make pete hate vegas then vegas will be heartbroken and eventually accepts tawan’s love.
But that stupid tawan was so obsessed with vegas to think logically, he doesn’t know that this all was an act.
Korn is doing this to make vegas weak that’s why he asked pete to guard kinn… ‘to make him distracted IN THE WAR!!!’ that’s makes it easy for him to kill minor clan.
On the other hand, kinn doesn’t know any of it. Pete and pol were there with him and arm and Porsche were with tankhun. The whole mansion was filled with blood in seconds. Porsche joined kinn after making sure that tankhun is in a safe place with arm and now it’s Pete’s chance to go to vegas.
He has to stop vegas and his beloved boss from killing each other. Kan followed Korn and vegas was searching for kinn. Somehow, they managed to cross paths and vegas pointed his gun at kinn’s head while his bodyguards are aiming for Porsche and pol but vegas couldn’t pull the trigger “vegas don’t!!!” pete shouted from behind aiming his gun at Vegas.
Everyone froze but vegas smiled he wanted to say to his love of life that he is ready to die if it was pete who’s killing him but he didn’t get that chance when a bodyguard ran towards them and said “khun Korn and khun kan was dead”
everyone watched him in disbelief and once the realization hit them, they dropped their guns and ran to the scene where Korn and kan were lying dead. Kinn immediately dropped to his knees beside his father with tears and Porsche was quick to catch him into his arms.
Who lost the battle now? Major family or minor family? NO, both of them lost.
whereas vegas left the place pete followed him “vegas!! please stop” he shouted and hugged vegas from the back “pete I feel so useless now… I hurt you and wanted to settle everything but now I don’t know what to do anymore” he was sobbing in between his cries.
Pete turned him around so that he can see his face “it’s okay vegas… everything will be okay” vegas shook his head “pete I don’t cheat on-” “shh…” pete cut him off by putting his finger on vegas lips “I trust you…” with that, he wiped vegas tears and kissed him on the lips “I love you vegas” pete said after parting from the kiss “I love you too love” and they kissed again. This kiss reminded them of the kiss they had in the bar when they fought for the first time ‘the kiss mixed with the taste of tears, pain and love’ they are falling deep for each other day by day….
Months later
“kinn what the hell are you doing?”
“can’t you see? Tying you” kinn said as he tied Porsche hands with his belt.
“what do you mean?” Porsche wiggled.
“don’t you remember that you asked me to do it? Don’t act innocent now” kinn threw Porsche on the bed and started removing his clothes.
“you.. you still remember?”
“yes darling” with that kinn towered on Porsche.
“but I am uncomfortable” kinn laughed “I know… I am aware that you are not a submissive type… but it’s too late now Porsche” kinn lips twisted into an evil grin and you all know what would happen next…
Pete pov
“Vegas, you’re being unreasonable again”
“yeah… I know you would say that” he scoffed and left the room by closing the door with a loud bang!!!
“vegas!! I am not done talking come back here” I shouted but that bastard didn’t pay any attention.
I moved to the minor family after that war and I am no longer a bodyguard. After khun Korn and khun kan’s death vegas and khun kinn were burdened with the business but everything was back to normal now and I almost became a mother figure to Macau.
Now this bastard was jealous over khun kinn… saying khun kinn was more affectionate to me which he didn’t like. I can’t argue with that because khun kinn really likes me and trusts me but that’s just a brotherly love.
How can I prove to this bastard how much I love him and how much I am ready to do anything for him. literally ‘ANYTHING’

“oh pete, come in” kinn greeted pete who was standing near the office door of kinn. Pete entered and bowed
“come on pete no need to pay respect. How is it going with vegas” kinn stood from his chair with some papers in his hand.
“we are good khun kinn… but I am here to confess something” pete kept his head down.
“what is it pete?” kinn asked looking at pete. With a deep sigh, pete opened his mouth
“I am the one who killed khun Korn” as soon as those words slipped from Pete’s mouth, kinn froze, leaving the papers he was holding to shatter on the floor.
“What are you talking about pete? Uncle kan and dad killed each other” kinn protested.
“No khun kinn. Khun Korn killed khun kan but khun Korn was killed by me”
“why is that? Why would you do that pete?” kinn doesn’t know how to feel.
“to protect my love” pete didn’t lift his head once nor shuttered while saying those things. He was determined to come clean with his boss.
“What do you mean pete?” kinn raised his voice, getting impatient.
“Some day when I was following tawan, I saw phi chan with him so-“
“TAWAN?” kinn was even more shocked now… pete lifted his head and just nodded.
“so I got furious thinking he was betraying… so I followed them but then I found out they are planning to break vegas and it was khun korn’s plan…” kinn just stood there listening, it was a whole new information to him.
“that’s when I decided to protect my love no matter what and I am not regretting it” kinn just collapsed into the chair and his gaze fixed on the window.
“what do you mean by telling me all this?” he asked.
“no one knows about it except me and even though I love vegas… I am still loyal to you khun kinn. So I am ready to take whatever punishment you will give” kinn glanced at his bodyguard who was standing there in full confidence, not even nervous… just like his first day when he joined as a bodyguard but one thing is missing though ‘his smile’.
Kinn’s gaze again shifted back to the window “I think vegas and Porsche will be waiting for you in the living room. You should go pete” that’s it, it was the queue to pete that he was forgiven, his boss was letting it go… he bowed and mumbled a ‘thank you’
“pete…” kinn called out still looking at the window, spacing out. “I still trust you”
“I will always be loyal to you khun kinn” with that pete left and kinn was left alone.
He was not sure why he let pete go. Because he admired pete that much he is willing to let him go? He doesn’t know. But he is sure about one thing, he was relieved after his father’s death but he don’t want to admit that…
And just like that the truth was buried between them. Forever.

It’s already past midnight vegas was not home and he even not picking up my calls. At first, I thought he was still mad that’s why he is not replying to my calls but now I am afraid something would have happened to him.
The door was flung open revealing a drunken vegas “vegas, what happened to you?” I hurried to him, afraid he would fall.
“why did you drink this much?” I carried him to the bed and he slumped on it “wait, I will wash you up” I want to give him a sponge bath but he pulled me by my wrist and I fell on him.
“you smell so good baby” vegas started kissing me I wiggled but he reversed our positions and sucked on my neck.
“vegas stop it” I had to push him hard because he was not listening.
“what? You don’t even allow me to touch you now?” he scowled
“that’s not what I mean vegas” I said calmly but he just got irritated and left the room leaving me there all confused.
I waited for him for some time but he didn’t return so I went to him. He was sleeping on the couch in the living room. I sighed, we are often fighting like a married couple.
I reached the couch and kneeled Infront of him, my fingertips caressing his hair “baby, come to sleep on the bed please” I pleaded him with my most sweet voice.
“I won’t” he refused without even opening his eyes.
I kissed him on his forehead then he opened his eyes I slowly made him sit on the couch and cupped his face “why did you drink this much hmm?” he didn’t reply. Instead, he was staring deep into my eyes.
“is it because of our morning fight?” I tried again.
“I am afraid…” he trailed.
“What about?” I rested my forehead on his, still cupping his face.
“I am afraid I would lose you” I backed away to bring some distance between us so that I can see his eyes but he was almost teary.
“what happened vegas? Tell me now please”
“what if someday you realize I am not worthy to you and go back to kinn again? I can’t live without you pete” and with that, his tears dropped.
“this is what you’re worried about?” I smiled and wiped his tears “silly, why would I do that” I settled into his lap and hugged him tightly “you said you can’t live without me but I can’t live without you too vegas” I parted from the hug and we kissed.
It is sweet until things get heated and he was sucking my lips. Soon he started to unbutton my shirt “vegas..” I stopped him.
“you don’t want it?” he was kind of surprised.
“it’s not like that.. but you are drunk” the corner of his lips curled up into a smirk “it’s no difference. Even if I am sobber I would still want to fuck you baby”
“pervert” I lightly hit his chest earning a chuckle from him and he carried me to our bed. Oh, I am sure I won’t be able to walk properly tomorrow.
But I am happy. No matter how much we argue, fight, had difficulties… we both know we can’t live without each other and eventually, we will find ourselves in each other arms… because I am his destiny and he is my destiny…
