My Yoongi | Taegi [Ongoing] Chapter 21

“I missed you so much and I was planning to be nice to you, but what the heck? Are you just going to watch Almira snatch Taehyung in your own engagement party?”, Jimin said in dilemma as he looked at Yoongi in disbelief because apparently his only short friend is just sitting with them while Taehyung is dancing with Almira.

 “She’s our friend”, Yoongi simply replied without even looking at him. Jimin was frustrated and wanted to strangle his friend but he calmed himself by breathing deeply “You know what? Whatever”, then he pulled Hoseok on the dance floor.

 “A friend who kept Taehyung away from you, instead of helping you.”, Jin blurted out some facts. “Oof?”, Jungkook.

 “She was just comforting Taehyung and Taehyung don’t wanna see me remember?”, Yoongi reasoned out.

 “Comforting!?-”, Yoongi cutted Jin before he burst out “It’s not her fault Taehyung lost his memory”, They shutted up and just diverted their attention to somewhere else. Jin and Namjoon stood and got some food from the food area and left Jungkook and Yoongi by their table.

 Yoongi just stared at his plate and played with his spoon while Jungkook was carefully watching him. Until Jungkook cleared his voice and asked “Dance with me?”, Yoongi looked at the hand offered to him.

 “Please? You aren’t going to reject your favorite best friend right?”, Jungkook said cutely in pout. Yoongi sighed and reached the bunny’s hand. Jungkook smiled widely and they both went to the dance floor. 

 The fast tempo music stopped and was replaced by slow tempo music. I Ain’t Perfect by IV of Spades played in the background. [Play the video above]

 Jungkook put Yoongi’s both hands on his shoulder while he put his hands on Yoongi’s waist firmly. 

 While the two dance in peace together a pair of eyes is burning a hole at Jungkook’s head from the back and it’s no other than Taehyung who is currently dancing with Almira. Taehyung left his hands off Almira and the lady is annoyed by the action. She glared at Yoongi as she stomped away. 

 The bunny and the kitten had no idea of what’s coming, they didn’t notice the predator coming at them. Taehyung stood in front of the two that snatched Yoongi’s attention. “Tiger, why are you here? I thought you were dancing with Almira”, Yoongi said confused but a smile is still evident in his face because he was having a fun conversation with Jungkook.

 “Hey! Taehy-“, Jungkook didn’t finish off what he was about to say because Yoongi was pulled off of him and the kitten disappeared with his tiger. 

 “Hey! What are you doing?”, Yoongi said as he resisted the pulling by Taehyung.

 “Let’s dance”, Taehyung stated. They stopped from walking and founded a good spot, away from everyone. Both of them are standing under the moonlight by the spacious balcony. The tiger pinned the kitten and pulled him by his embrace. The pale boy leaned to the touch and rested his face against the tallers firm chest. They swayed slowly matching the song currently played. 

 “I missed you”, Taehyung whispered. Yoongi hugged him and the taller hugged him back, still swaying. Yoongi looked up, his chin touching Taehyung’s chest while the latter looked down on the former’s brown orbs.

 “We were just together minutes ago, silly”, Yoongi chuckled.

 “Still, I missed you”, The taller kissed the shorter’s crown. 

 “I missed you too”, Yoongi replied but he delivered it so sincerely that Taehyung felt that there’s another meaning to it. 

 They continued dancing under the moonlight and the stars joined them, twinkling as they danced. It’s so peaceful when a honeyed voice interrupted them “Taehyungie?~”, They both looked at the direction of the voice. 

 The woman’s face is so sweet with a smile but her eyes say otherwise, it’s shouting insecurity and annoyance when she saw the two laced together. She gritted her teeth and exhaled. She walked near them and pushed Yoongi’s hands away from Taehyung and replaced it with hers like marking her territory.
