The Secret Of Us (Wlw) Dressing room romantic

After she show, Evie went backstage again to meet Taylor. The show had been amazing and Evie could still hear the crowd in her ears. She firstly went back to her dressing room to collect all her stuff she had left in there. She didn’t want to bother Taylor right after she left the stage and wanted to give her time to calm down. Evie couldn’t believe that she’d be able to do anything but fall to the ground after a three and a half hour show full of singing and dancing. But Taylor was exceptional, on all levels. Once the time felt right, Evie left her room and made sure that she didn’t forget anything as they were going to leave the next day. She walked to Taylor’s dressing room and told her bodyguard that Taylor expects her to come. He knocked on her door and a few seconds later, Evie could look into Taylors tired but happy face. “Hi! Come in…”, she greeted her and opened the door a little more to let her hin. She was still in her Midnights bodysuit and her skin was a bit shiny from sweat. But still, she looked perfect to Evie. I was a bit worried that you wouldn’t come and was thinking about searching for you haha…”, Taylor said a bit nervously and fidgeted with the fringes on her bodysuit which was probably not a good idea considering the worth of her stage outfits. “Sorry, I wanted to give you some space to gather yourself after the show. I can’t imagine how I would feel after a show on this level. But here I am.”. They both smiled at each other. “Did you like the acoustic set? I thought about singing this song after NYC but it felt better to sing it today with the knowledge that you know I was referring to you…” Taylor looked a bit shy but Evie could also sense a proudness in Taylor’s voice. Still, she acted differently than usual. She normally wasn’t that shy and and she always knew what do say. She was good with words. But in that moment they both stood there like teenager who knew well they were crushing on each other but didn’t know how to express it. “I loved the acoustic set. What a coincidence that the song you wrote ages ago fit so well today! It was a great surprise.”, Evie said. “I am glad. I love this song. But to be honest, I do feel like 15 again standing in front of you…It’s a bit embarrassing…I suddenly don’t know how to act in front of you”. It wasn’t embarrassing to Evie, she knew how Taylor felt and she was just as nervous in front of her knowing that there was something between them that they had never believed to happen. Evie couldn’t stop smiling and she couldn’t stop looking at Taylor who stood in front of her in this breathtaking show outfit. “Well if you don’t know how to act, maybe I should decide for us both…”, Evie told Taylor and took a step closer to her to reduce the distance between them. She cupped her cheek with her hands and looked Taylor in eyes to search for her permission to kiss her. But Taylor just closed her eyes, placed her hands around Evie’s waist and pulled her closer to french kiss her. Evie had never thought that a kiss in a sterile dressing room could be this romantic and she could feel her heart beating heavily against her chest. She could feel Taylors soft hair in her hands as they organically moved while still kissing and she enjoyed every second of being so close to her. Evie didn’t know how long the moment lastet but it felt like ages until they separated again. “Thank you for making the decisions for me Evie…”, Taylor said while she adjusted her hair. It was bit messy after the kiss, just as Evie’s. “No problem, it was a pleasure.”, Evie joked and now also found herself playing with Taylor’s fringes on her bodysuit as they were still so close to each other. “Sorry, It must be worth a lot of money.”, Evie quickly said and pulled her hand away. “I should probably change, it’s not the most comfy thing to hand around.”, Taylor just answered and glanced at the wardrobe in the corner of the room. “Do you want to wait for me? I can ask my driver to drive us both to the hotel.”. 

Back in the hotel, they needed to part ways. They were followed by Taylors bodyguard which didn’t allow any physical touch between them which annoyed Evie a little, considering that they had just shared this kiss at the stadium. “Thanks for the ride. I’ll see you –”, Evie wanted to say “tomorrow” out of habit because she was used to see Taylor very regularly because of the shows. But not this time. Everyone was going to head home for their loved ones for Friendsgiving. “Next week. Enjoy the time with your family.”, Taylor completed her sentence. “I will and you need to make sure to rest.”. Taylor gave her a fleeting smile and they both went into their separate rooms. Their conversation in the hallway had been superficial and unsatisfying but there had been no other way for them to talk with Taylor’s manager in their back. Evie tried not to think too much about it and let herself fall on her hotel bed. *ping*. Evie’s phone made a sound and her face lit up when she saw a particular name on her phone screen.
