“Why am I feeling like this…?”, Evie murmured to herself while she was pacing back and forth in her hotel bedroom after the party. For her, the party was over after the conversation about Taylor and her date with the football guy. She didn’t want to think about it anymore but she couldn’t stop herself from googling the event. It took only a second until a few articles appeared on her phone screen. She picked the first one and started reading.

Listen up Swifties: While Taylor is busy playing sold-out stadium shows each week, she still found the time to take care of her love live. She was spotted in the vip areas of the FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland and seemed to have only eyes for one particular player on the field; Travis Kelce. This came as a surprise because even though we know she is a football fan she has alway rooted for a different team…until now. 

The famous singer allegedly attended the post game party as his date where their interaction were described as “playful and comfortable”. Will we be able to witness a new love story between the love birds or was this just a short flirt? One thing we know for sure; Taylor would be the perfect candidate to perform in the Super Bowl halftime show!

Evie felt bad for Taylor. Her dating life shouldn’t be something to gossip about, it was not fair. But still, she was the one reading this article just as millions of other gossip-seeking people who want to know what was going on in Taylor’s private life. And she only besides what Taylor told them that night, she knew just as much as someone who didn’t knew her personally. Deep down, she knew why she cared so much about this date but but before that day she had not been able to realize it herself; She didn’t want Taylor to date anyone else because she herself had a crush on her. Taylor; one of the most successful singers in the world and Taylor, her friend.

Evie realized that she could be bisexual when she was in tenth grade when she started to not only have crushes on male actors or singers but female ones as well. No one in her environment had a coming out themselves before and all of her friends where actively yearning for a boyfriend. The thought that she could be bisexual had been a part of her from that time one but only a secret one as she didn’t know how to voice it. For the longest time she had thought that it had been a “phase” and she never fell in love with anyone in her personal life which made it even harder for to be sure about her sexuality. These days, she knew a lot of people who were queer she also supported the Lgbtq*+ community as much as she could but she didn’t know where her place was. She still had female celebrity crushes but she had only ever dated men because she had only fallen for them before. But she also knew exactly that her feelings for Taylor went beyond friendship because she had never felt like this towards a female friend before. Until that day of realization she had thought that they were just really close friends and that she had just cared so much for Taylor because she was also thankful for everything she had made possible. And she had ignored that friends don’t usually hold their breath when their friend walks in the room looking pretty. 

But there was nothing to do for her. There was no possibility to go up to Taylor and confess her feelings, the ones that she herself had just realized as well. There were a few reasons why she couldn’t; She was still working for Taylor, she was Taylors friend and didn’t want to risk their friendship and lastly, Taylor seemed to like footballers. She couldn’t be more far away from a football player and Taylor couldn’t be more far away from liking her romantically. Evie knew she had to move on some way and forget about it all but that wasn’t that easy. She saw Taylor almost every day and apart from that, there was no possible way to not be confronted with anything Taylor Swift related these days. But one this was sure: Her friendship with Taylor was important and she wouldn’t throw that away for a silly crush.
