Coward.

I’m indeed a coward because I’m scared from the thought of loosing her.

I’m a fucking coward because I just can’t let her go even if it means she’ll be safe.

I pulled out the phone from my pocket and put it back on my ear. “Assured?” I said before cutting the call and opening the gallery to again carefully check the image he sent me.

The image of her in the car waiting at the signal before coming here. But the thing that caught my attention was, the car beside her, from which the picture has been taken, A hand holding a gun in Akshara’s direction.

The only thing observable here is that the person is wearing a blue shirt by looking at the sleeve.

I understood at the first glance that he’s going to ask me a big price for it and that was the moment when I recieved a message, I opened that to read it again.

Fucker: Text messages are better than handwritten, aren’t they?

You’ve got an envelope on your desk, open it, read it, sign it and get it signed.

That way, she won’t be on my target from now on.

Don’t forget to call me once she’s there.

It was also Akshara who saved his name in my phone.

It wouldn’t take me a second to tear the divorce papers only if I didn’t remember Riya coming here to meet me.

The same time I was supposed to leave from here to pick up Akshara from the house. I just wanted Akshara to have fun, but I just ended up doing the opposite instead.

I’m still in doubt about Riya’s motive to come here. She just came and said that beating Sidharth won’t change anything before going back.

And I do agree with her, because he doesn’t deserves to be beaten, but killed. I also know the fact that the main motive of her coming here wasn’t that.

One thing that I’m sure now is that Riya and Siddharth are in contact with that person. Which is what I’m surely gonna make medium to him.

And about Akshara,

She’s got my entire life to punish me for the each tear I’ve made her shed.

I looked back at the divorce paper and a small smile took over my face.

I heard my phone ringing and saw Neil’s name at the caller ID. “Bro, I don’t know what you’ve said to her but come home right now and apologize or I’m breaking your all teeth.” Reyansh exclaimed loudly soon as I picked up the call.

“Your bones too!” I heard Neil’s faint shout from far.

“Wha–” I was interrupted by the door opening strongly and Shaurya entering inside. “Come home right now and apologize or make up whatever caused her to cry like that or..” He stopped leaning to the door for support and breathing heavily.

“Divorce wasn’t the only way Arhaan. We were the one who saw her so happy before going, and we were also the one to see her sobbing that hard before way and leaving the house at this hour.” Reyansh said taking a step forward to me.

He scoffed, “And the amazing thing is that you didn’t even considered telling any of us about it before taking so big step.” He said before walking away from me but soon stopped.

“Do you really think she’ll be safe this way?” He asked. “No” I said without any second thought.

“If not then how did you ended up divorcing?!” Neil yelled at me standing up from my bed.

“I didn’t had any other choice, I have once took his warnings for granted and everyone has paid a big price for it. Especially you.” I said pointing at Reyansh and he looked away from me.

“And it’s neither that I’m just ready to live without her because…” They all stared at me in suspense and I couldn’t find words to complete it. “Complete the fucking sentence Arha–” I cut Shaurya in the middle by

“That’s not possible anymore.” I don’t even know if I’m being selfish by not just leaving her and really getting divorced but what I know is… she’s just Tangled with me now.

“Someone call her friend Aaliya.” They all looked at me with surprise. “I don’t know if she’ll agree or not but, ask her or request her if she can stay with Akshara if possible and also make sure she doesn’t go out.” I said, Shaurya and Reyansh both looked at each other in tension.

They’ve got another problem to solve our first.

“Neil, you do it.” I said and he snatched Shaurya’s phone from his hand and called her. The moment she picked up, he instantly handed it over to the person beside him, Reyansh.

“H-hello.” He answered. “Go check bhabhi at her house.” He said cutting the call. “Why the fuck did you handed over it to me?” He shouted at Neil. “I just… didn’t know what to say.” I rubbed a handover my forehead.

His phone rang again and Shaurya took it back picking it up and explaining Aaliya again everything. I wonder if she’ll be able to go there at this time or not.

I walked away from there to the garden outside and stared at her call log in my phone saved by My Gorgeous sexy amazing intelligent wife by her.

I’ve just gave her tears since she came in my life in return for the smiles and brightness she brought in my life.

She just stays at her home and I’m fine with that.

I finally clicked and the call rang till its limit before ending. I tried calling her 4 times before it was switched off.

I felt a hand over my back and turned around instantly to find Maa. She smiled at me and I looked at her for a second before finally not being able to hold back my emotions and hugging her tightly.

“I’m not strong enough for her, maa.” I complained as I felt a tear rolling down my cheek. “I’ve literally did nothing than giving her tears.” She gently held me and broke the hug.

“My son is strong enough to protect his wife, and he will.” She said putting a hand over my face.
“You go get some sleep.” I said turning her around and gently pushing her back inside the house.

I dialed another number in my phone as soon as she left and it rang for a second before picking up. “Is he still inside?” I asked. “Yes sir, but a girl drove away from here half an hour ago.” He answered and I ended the call assuming it to be Aaliya.

I’ve placed men at both Riya and Sidharth’s house.

Soon I recieved a message on my phone and my eyes enlarged when I read it.

Fucker : I was just waiting for the confirmation. Thanks for helping.

I instantly called back to the man I just talked to, but he didn’t picked up. I tried calling the other two also, but they neither picked up.

“Shit!” I muttered running out when Neil ran into me with the same speed. “Aaliya just called us and said that bhabhi went somewhere.” He said and adrenaline rushed inside me as I ran faster towards outside.

I stopped holding the car’s door handle from a message.

Fucker: Chahat to tumhari jaan leni ki thi.

(The desire was to take your life.)

I gulped reading it and they all also peeped inside the phone. I tightened the grip on the ‘magalsutra’ she returned to me closing my eyes before I recieved another message.

Fucker: Par tumhari jaan ki jaan hi sahi.

(But your life’s life is not bad too.)

I took in a sharp breath opening the door and sitting inside before driving to her house instantly.

I looked around for all the 20 guards I hired for here but I found none. I saw Aaliya standing in the dark at the door and stepped out to see Reyansh, Neil and Shaurya also stepping out from a car behind me.

“Where?” I asked her and she stared at me without answering anything. “For God sake, say somet–” she interrupted me by handing her phone to me. I looked confusingly at her before my eyes locked onto the screen.

My jaw tightened “One of you stay with her, I’ll handle this myself now.” I said to them as they looked at me in suspense before running back to my car and going my next destination.

I pushed the door without any patients but found it locked from outside. I ran a handover my hair wondering where to find her now.

“Looking for me?” I never expected that I’m going to hate this voice this much also. I turned around to see Riya standing confidently with wrapped arms “Where is she?” I hissed holding her by throat.

“Let’s go inside, then we can talk. We can do other things too, just as shown in the vid–” I tightened the grip causing her to stop mid way. “Where. Is. She?” I asked again but she only smiled in return.

“Where. Is. Kiara? She’s not dead, right? Then where is she?!” She yelled as I left her throat.

“I’m fucking sure you killed her just because she found out some prove of yo–” I interrupted her again glaring in her eyes. “And if you don’t tell me where she is then I’m quite sure none of you will be Alive!”

She quitly walked to the door and unlocked it. “That’s something you would surely do.” The more I’m trying not to hurt this woman the more she is getting on my nerves.

“You know? Your wife almost made me against my dear partner.” She complained opening her heels. “She came here?” I asked and she chuckled.

“Don’t act like you don’t know I’m just coming after getting her work done. Don’t you?” I closed my hands in fist to control it to myself.

“Riya, I telling you for the last time. Whoever it is, they’re just using you for their own benifit and nothing else.” She walked to the kitchen and came back with a glass of water.

“We are fifty-fifty who got same aim, taking revenge.” She said handing me the glass and I didn’t even think before throwing it on the ground. I’ve got the idea about her revenge but what more revenge can someone want from me?

“If I prove you don’t even matter for 1% percent?” I asked. “Maybe her location?” And that was enough for me to walk into her kitchen and grabbing a knife before walking back to her.

“What are yo—” I interrupted her in the middle. “Preparation for your murder.” I said putting the knife close to her throat and pulling out my phone from my pocket.

“Don’t have so much belief in me, a little horror on your face won’t effect.” I said clicking a perfect picture and sending it to her dear partner in crime.

I felt quite inpressed to know I’m not the only one who checks the message instantly.

Fucker: You cought the wrong hostage my dearest Arhaan. She’s no use anymore to me, instead, she had to die today or tomorrow.

I smiled recieving the exact message I expected and showing it to her. I saw as she paled reading the message.

“Now, Where is my wife?”

She scoffed, “She’s not your wife anymo–” I cut her in the middle.

“Where is my wife?” I asked loudning my voice.

I saw a glimpse of confusion in her eyes before she changed her mind saying “I won’t.” And I digged the knife in her throat just a little away from cutting the skin.

“You can’t.” She said with confidence. “Please, don’t expect that. I freaking don’t know what’s happened to me but I can do anything, I’m even ready to kill thousands of people, if it only means I can get a single glance of her”

“Y-you can’t” she said again. “But a guy who killed his own bestfriend can. Can’t he?” I asked leaning to her level.

“You’ve become the equal part in Vidyut’s death now. There’s no way back. Just tell her address, now.” I asked removing the knife from her throat and throwing it on the floor.

“Siddharth took her with him from here, I don’t know where.” I leaned closure to her. “You don’t?” I asked. “N-no. I don’t.” She said as I stood back straight.

I looked around and grabbed her phone from the table. “You’ve still not learnt to put a password in your phone.” I blurted opening the call log and finding Sidharth at top.

I called him and put the call on speaker. “Now ask him, where.” She’s not got any other choice than helping me. “H-hello” she stammered as he picked up the call.

“How hard did you injected her! Her entire hand is paled and she should’ve been woke up by now! Did you even used the right drUg or not?” He asked and I closed my eyes tightening the grip on the phone.

“W-where are you?” She asked him. “What do you have to do with it?” He asked suspicious. “Because I’m asking.” I finally said and I heard a gasp from that side.

“The abandoned cinema near the airport.” And I threw the phone forcefully on the ground so she doesn’t receives any other calls.

“Is there any other way out except that door?” I asked looking around the empty room. It’s easy to guess that she just took this room at rent till her work is complete.

She shook her head. “Why?” She asked and I ignored her question walking back to the door and locking it from outside.

I can’t let her out untill I’m done finding the one who’s all over my brain and self right now or maybe always.

My wife.
