I was not able to think anything else after Caesar talked about marriage. The way he said was so casual but a thousands of butterflies roamed in my stomach was not so casual. After that day, he didn’t even brought this topic again and for a second I thought he was joking but then…
“What are you thinking?” I was standing near the window in our room when he came behind me and snaked his arm around my waist.
“Nothing” I said and just looked outside.
“Is it about the wedding thing?” He asked and I didn’t say anything for a few seconds.
“You shouldn’t have said things like this so causally” The second I said those words he turned me around and pushed me more into him.
“That wasn’t casual. I do want to make you mine only and soon I will do that” He didn’t even let me speak and put his lips on mine. After that, he showed how much his words do mean by making love to me.
It’s been two days since the day he assured me about his marriage prospects with me. Right now, we were in his office building room as there were many pending works left. We both were focused in our own work until Akim came…
“Boss-Sir, we got the information about those men who were visiting Dominik regularly” We both stopped our work and paid all attention to him.
He was hesitant before saying further and my heart was beating fast because now what more secrets are going to be revealed…
“Those two men were… your uncles” He looked at Caesar while speaking about them and my eyes widened.
What kind of shit show is going in Dominik’s home. A never ending tale of secrets are being revealed again and again.
I looked at Caesar and he was still from the news. But after a few seconds, he motioned Akim to continue…
“Those two men’s mother is Victor’s mother. Barrett’s first wife”.
“My god! What kind of man is Dominik?” I clutched my hair and for few minutes my mind was totally blank.
“Wait a second, Dominik killed Barett because he wanted his wife?” Caesar voiced out and I looked at Akim who nodded.
“But why?” I asked.
“Because he knew her since childhood and loved her. But your great grandfather married him with your grandmother who was from a good financial family”.
My mind was spinning around after listening to all these things. How many more things are going to blow our mind and when the fucking hell will all these stop.
“Then why did they reveal themselves now?” I asked to no one in particular.
“Because they want their share… I have ceazed all Dominik’s bank balance and they must have been afraid that their luxurious life will be over” Caesar said who was now standing near the window and looking outside.
“Akim you leave for now” I said and walked up to Caesar who immediately engulfed me in his arms and kept his head on my shoulder while I caressed his hair softly.
“I am with you” I encouraged him to cope up with all the secrets that his family has buried.
“What should we do now?” After sometime, I asked.
“Those two men, Rodion and Dominik. All three of them will get what they deserve… Death” His eyes were blood red when he looked at me and spoke about those assholes.
Leonid POV
I was not able to process anything after Caesar and Igor told me more secrets about my own family which I was not aware of until now…
“Brother, we all are here” Roman and Irina visited me when I told them about dad. And right now only we three are in my room.
“I will never forgive him for hurting our mother” Irina was most attached to our mother as she always feared dad and Roman and I protected her from his wrath.
“If he left our mother then she must have been alive now” Roman’s voice was filled with venom.
“He wanted our mothers money that’s why he didn’t divorced her and… tortured her until she…killed herself”.
We all three still clearly remember the day when we saw our mother lying in her room lifeless and blood flowing from her wrist. I can still see her eyes that were full of pain and hurt. Our family got destroyed because of that man’s greed and selfish reasons… That pathetic, useless trash.
Igor
Caesar was on call and I was looking at some files in our room when someone knock on the door and Akim entered…
“Sir” He approached me directly when he saw Caesar is busy.
“Rodion is back” The second he got that man’s name out from his mouth I stood up.
“Finally!” It’s been a week since we got to know about Dominik’s illegitimate children and just waiting for this man to show up so that we can clear everything one and for all.
“You know what to do” I said and he left after nodding.
Caesar ended the call and I told him about Rodion…
“Fucking finally!” He had the brightest smile on his face after so many days.
“This all will be over” I cupped his cheeks and gave a peck on his lips.
But that time I didn’t knew that the step we are going to take will break my family as well.
