It Takes Broken To Know Broken – Nico Di Angelo X Batfam Secrets

“It’s a pleasure to meet you,” I said, “Batman.”
Bruce Wayne looked at me, his expression was in between being part impressed and shocked.
“Did he just say Batman?” Jason asked.
“Oh,” Tim smiled, “Jay, you’re going to be in so much trouble.”
“I didn’t tell him,” Jason tried. “I swear!”
“Calm down. He didn’t tell me. I just got enough from him and Damian to figure out. And don’t worry, your secret is safe with me.”
“Damian?” Jason asked.

“I suppose now the secret is no longer, why did you leave?” Damian asked him when he was tasked with showing me around in he Manor. His expression showed hurt.
“I- I was afraid to be in the way.” I was afraid I would get too attached.
“I wish for you to realize that you are never in my way, Nicoló,” Damian continued softly, “I care for you.”

I almost slipped through a ‘I love you’ but managed to stop it.
“So, I guess they are the former Robin’s?” I asked referring to Dick, Jason, and Tim. Damian nodded.
“How’d you end up with the Batman?” I questioned.
“My mother raped him in order to receive me,” he explained, “With my mother, I’m referring to Talia Al Ghul, daughter of Ra’s Al Ghul, leader of the League of Shadows.”
“That doesn’t seem so great.”
“It wasn’t,” he explained with hurt in his face. “I was the heir to the Demon’s Head, would grandfather perish or retire I would take his place in his battle with humanity.”
I had heard stories of his grandfather, Ra’s Al Ghul was called a terrorist in early World War Two. The news stations saw him and his army fight against the Nazi’s that were at power in Europe. After the Lotus Hotel, I hadn’t remembered him nor have ever heard him being mentioned.

After the dinner I was invited to stay at Wayne Manor, home of the Batfamily. When I arrived Bruce showed me Alfred Pennyworth, who was the butler of the family. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, mister Pennyworth.” “I assure you the pleasure is  mine, Young Master Nico,” the elderly man with the British Accent said.
I was shown my room, it was large and felt blank, like a canvas waiting to be filled. It had a private bathroom, where I decided to take a nice hot shower.
“Nico!” I heard as I started the shower to wait for it to warm up while I strip. I removed my hand from my shirt as I saw a boy in the steam of the shower. “Leo?” I asked. “What do you want?”

“What?” I asked. The only part I understood was Camp HalfBlood.
Nico muttered something else that I couldn’t understand. “Leave me alone, Valdez,” I said as i waved my hand through the Iris Message dissolving it.
