Dianthus Caryophyllus; A Soonhoon Fic 08

I lifted my pen and set it on my table, before folding the letter and depositing it into an envelope and sealing it.

I stood up and walked to Jeonghan hyung’s room. 5 days since jihoon has been in the hospital. We have had almost no rest at all, rushing to and fro the hospital in the midst of preparing for our new album and managing our packed schedules. Our manager decided to leave him there while we continued our preparations for our new album, semicolon, to ensure that his condition would not worsen and that authorised personnel could help him if something were to happen. 

“Hyung, can I come in.” I knocked on his door.

“Sure.”

I softly pushed open the door and walked in.

“Whats wrong horangi?”

I sighed before giving him the envelope.

“Remember the letter from 6 years ago? You haven’t passed it to him yet right? Can you pass him this together too if anything happens?”

“Anything for you two horangi. You want to visit jihoon?”

“Sure” We walked out to the living room and asked if the others wanted to go too.

In the end, Chan and coups hyung came with us.

Ring Ring!

“Yes?”

“Are you scoups?”

“Yes I am.”

“I would like to inform you that the patient by the name of Lee Jihoon has suffered from another bad coughing fit and the flowers are harming him even more. The flowers have clogged up almost 60% of his airway. I suggest you inform your manager and bring the members here to visit him and convince him to undergo the operation.”

“I-I ok, will do. Thank you.”

“Hyung What happened?” I watched him as his face was full of worry and fear as he put down the call.

“I-Its jihoon..” I tensed up at his tone. “He suffered from another bad fit and is detoriating even faster…” I did not even finish hearing his sentence before I turned around and ran towards the hospital as fast as I could.

“Hoshi! STOP!” I did not listen to them. I kept running and running. I could hear their shouts for me but the only thing on my mind was jihoon. I was only opposite the hospital now. I did not look out for any oncoming cars and just ran onto the road to cross over.

“SOONYOUNG! STOP! THE CAR!”

Suddenly, I felt a large impact before falling onto the ground and blacking out.
