“Come on, Nico! I know you don’t have any anymore, but can’t you just tell me how it works?”
Nico was scowling. A usual for him. “No way, Solace. I’ve told you a million times, mythomagic was just a stupid card game!”
“Just tell me how to play it?”
  “No.”
  “Please?”
  “No.”
“At least tell me what Hades’ attack power was!”
  “No!”
Will was about to ask him again when there was a knock on the door.
“I’ll get it.” Will said, getting up.
He opened it and was surprised to see a whole group of campers surrounding the cabin. One girl was in the front with a worried expression on her face.
“We need your help, Will! There’s a new camper who just arrived, and she’s badly injured!”
Will immediately started running out the door, and everyone followed. He heard Nico behind him.
As he was running towards the infirmary, he asked questions. “What happened?” He demanded.
“Her satyr told me that it was a monster attack. A Hellhound.” Kayla said.
  “Is her satyr alright?”
“Yes, he’s fine. A few scratches. He feels extremely bad about not being able to protect her, but there were other monsters he was fighting when she was injured.”
“Well, it isn’t his fault. What’s her injury?”
“As far as we can tell, a concussion and a mess of an injury on her stomach. We don’t know anything else. She’s unconscious, which isn’t good.”
“Indeed it’s not.” Will made it to the infirmary where she was laying. Her satyr was sitting next to her with tears in his eyes. “Can you please back up? I’m about to start an operation.” He said to the satyr. He nodded and backed away. Will ordered all the campers to continue on with their day.
“Nico! Take off her shirt, please. I need to find my peppermint scents.”
“W-wait. You want me to help?” Nico asked, shocked.
“Yes, I do. You know a lot about injuries from all the ones that you’ve gotten.”
  “I’m not a doctor!”
  “I’m technically not, either!”
Nico breathed. “Okay, fine. But why do I need to take her shirt off?”
“Yes, I know what you’re thinking. But she has bad scratches that need to be looked at. Doctor’s have to do that sometimes. I’ve had to do that quite a bit over the years.”
“Okay, okay.” Nico pulled her shirt off as Will found his scents. He put on gloves and handed a pair to him.
He put the peppermint underneath her nose, and her eyes fluttered open. “W-where am I?” She asked weakly.
Will gave her a soft smile. “You’re safe. I just have to do some operations on you, okay? I’m sorry you have to be awake for this, but here are some painkillers. Here’s a cup of water.”
She looked around confusedly. “I-I don’t think I can lift my arms.”
“Okay, that’s alright. I’ll have to shove it down your throat, okay?”
  The girl nodded.
  “Alright, 1,2,3!”
She swallowed the pill. Just then she seemed to realize her shirt was off revealing her bra.”U-um, isn’t there a girl doctor?”
Will laughed. “I’m sorry, I’m the only one here right now. Don’t worry. I’m in a relationship. And Nico over there is gay. He’s actually the one I’m with.”
She seemed to relax a bit. “So you’re gay too, then?”
“Well, not exactly.” Will said as he was using a cloth and pressure to stop the bleeding. “I’m actually bisexual. But don’t worry! I’m used to this. I’ve done this quite a bit, doctor’s have to do that sometimes.”
She nodded. “I’m sorry if that seemed rude.”
“Not at all! Many people prefer to be treated by someone of the same gender. It’s no big deal. I would prefer it, too. I’m just sorry there isn’t a girl here right now who can help you. By the way, what’s your name?”
  “I’m Kyla.”
“Nice to meet you, Kyla! I’m Will!” Will glanced at Nico quickly. “Nico, can you please put pressure on this cloth to stop the bleeding? I need to grab supplies to prepare for surgery.”
Nico nodded and took the cloth from Will. He looked a bit nervous, which was understandable. This was his first time helping a patient.
Will ran over and grabbed bandages and stuff he needed so he could give her stitches after he sang a hymn to his dad.
He ran back over with his supplies and took over for Nico. A couple minutes later, he took the cloth off and sang.
“Um, what are you doing?” Kyla asked.
“He’s singing a hymn to Apollo. It’ll help heal you.” Nico told her.
  “Apollo? Like the spaceship?”
“Let’s talk about this later, okay?” Nico replied.
After Will finished, he looked at her scratches. They weren’t quite as deep, but they were still deep.
  Kyla gasped. “H-how?!”
Will smiled. “We’ll talk later. Has the medicine kicked in yet?”
She nodded. “I don’t even really feel the pain in my head or in my stomach anymore.”
“Good. Are you ready? You might want to focus on something else right now.”
Kyla focused her eyes on Nico. “So you’re Nico?”
  He nodded.
“When did you and Will get together?”
“It was on Halloween of this year.”
  “Cool!”
Will was stitching up her stomach as the two talked. Will could tell Nico felt uncomfortable talking to this girl he didn’t know, but he was glad that he was helping out and helping her feel better.
He worked for a while, and Kyla kept on talking to Nico. Finally, he finished up the stitches and put bandages over them. He helped her put her shirt back on.
“Alright, I need to check your pupils.” He put a flashlight in her eyes and her pupils seemed pretty dilated. “Okay, you have a pretty bad concussion. I’m going to need you to stay awake for 3-6 hours. No screens, stay in bed, and don’t try to think very hard about anything. Afterwards, if I think you’re okay, you can sleep. You need a lot of sleep when you have a concussion. You’re also going to need to stay for 2 nights. There will always be one person in here at a time to check on you and make sure you’re okay.”
  She nodded. “Okay.”
“Do you have any other injuries?”
  “No.”
Will threw his bloody gloves away, and sat down on a couch a little ways away from Kyla, but close enough to still hear what she was saying. Nico flopped down next to him.
“Nice work, Will. You saved her life.”
  “That’s my job.”
“Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.”
Will grabbed Nico around the waist and hugged him. “Really? You did great! I know it made you uncomfortable having to talk to her, and having her shirt be off, but you did great.”
Nico pushed him off. “I’ve actually never seen a bra before. That’s why I got so panicky. When I was younger, women didn’t talk about things like bras or periods. I learned about them through Bianca and Hazel.”
“Ah, I see. I was glad you were right there. For moral support, you know, because my boyfriend was right beside me, and because it wouldn’t be much of a problem because he’s gay.”
“Yeah, whatever. But without you, she would be dead.”
Will whispered to him so Kyla wouldn’t hear. “I know. For a minute I was scared she wouldn’t make it. Being passed out after you get a concussion is a big no-no. But she should be okay now. The worst is over.”
  Nico nodded.
“I’m going to have to stay in here for a few hours. Will you stay with me?” He gave Nico puppy dog eyes.
  Nico sighed. “Fine.”
“Thank you. So, what is Hades’ attack power?”
Nico slapped his own forehead. “Just shut up, Solace.”
