Offroad POV
Offroad was busy putting things away that he had picked up on the way home from picking up Charlie from school for this playdate he guessed he was now hosting. Daou promised him he would be home by 3:30 but a glance at the clock had Offroad sighing as it was now 3:45. Daou had called him promising him he was leaving the office and time had gotten away from him. He had just finished putting the groceries away when their doorbell sounded. Offroad sighed of course one of them would be early. Offroad walked to the front door and opened it and there stood the boy Jay with a nice bruise on his mouth holding flowers and standing behind him was his mother and father.
“Hi!” his mother smiled at Offroad. “I’m Pim Jay’s mom, and this is Max, his father,” She said, elbowing him in the side. “I heard you were not properly introduced yesterday,”
“No, I do not believe we were,” Offroad said smiling.
“Here,” the little boy said, extending the flowers out to him. “I’m sorry for what I said about you, I don’t believe it, I was just angry.” The boy did look genuinely sorry.
“Dad?” Offroad heard Chance call from behind him and Offroad watched the little boy’s face light up with a smile. Offroad had seen that smile before it was the same smile Daou had when Offroad had walked into the room. Offroad had to keep himself from groaning.
“Thank you,” Offroad said, accepting the boy’s flowers. “I’ll forgive you but you are on thin ice so best behavior,” Offroad said to the boy.
“Yes, sir” The boy nodded and looked around him to peek at his son.
“Go ahead,” Offroad said, stepping out of the way so the boy could rush in as he made his way straight to Chase. “No video games, you are still grounded, outside only, and watch your brother!” Offroad called as the boys excitedly squealed and immediately took off. “Come on in,” Offroad said Pim and Max.
“You have a lovely home,” Pim said looking around in amazement as she dragged her husband in.
“Thank you,” Offroad said, shutting the door.
“I guess now is my turn to apologize for yesterday,” Max laughed nervously.
“I’ll accept it if you can tell me where your son learned to say those things?” Offroad asked as he led them to the kitchen.
“Not from us I assure you,” Pim said. “But possibly his grandfather, he has a conservative view of the world,” Pim explained.
“And how will he react when he finds out your son is crushing on another alpha?” Offroad asked, pulling out a vase for the flowers.
“I’m sorry alpha?” Pim asked. “Chance is an alpha?”
“Don’t let my son’s prettiness and softness fool you, he is an alpha,” Offroad said, placing the flowers into the vase.
“Jay told us he was a beta,” Max said.
“Is it an issue that he is alpha?” Offroad asked.
“No,” Pim said immediately, holding her hands up in defense. “We were just shocked by the news,”
“Do you have an issue with our son being an alpha?” Max asked.
“No, my son is free to like whomever he wants, when he is at the appropriate age,” Offroad said, side-eyeing them letting him know he believed all the children were too young for this. Offroad’s ears perked up at the sound of the garage door and then moments later Daou appeared around the corner.
“Where’s Charlie?” Daou asked. Charlie was always the first to greet Daou when he came home from. Charlie had it almost down to a science and would wait patiently for his father to walk inside.
“Outside,” Offroad said, accepting a quick kiss from Daou. “This is Pim and Max, Jay’s parents.” Daou acknowledged them with a smile.
“Whose flowers?” Daou asked, eyeing the vase.
“Jay got them for me, aren’t they pretty?” Offroad smiled showing his husband the flowers.
“So pretty,” Daou said, making a face. Offroad laughed knowing that face all too well.
“You can not get jealous over a child,” Offroad laughed. “Besides you could have come home with flowers for me and didn’t so knock it off,”
“If you want flowers every day then so be it,” Daou said as he wrapped Offroad into a back hug playfully kissing and biting his neck.
“Stop besides you have hosting duties to attend to,” Offroad said motioning to Pim and Max who were smiling at them.
“Can I get either of you something to drink?” Daou asked as Offroad felt Daou’s hands rub his stomach.
“Water, if you have it please,” Pim smiled. “May I ask how far along are you?”
“6 months as of today,” Offroad smiled looking down at his belly.
“Oh, how exciting do you know what you are having?” She asked.
“We have the anatomy scan on Monday,” Offroad informed her. Daou started floating around the kitchen getting drinks for everyone. When the doorbell sounded followed by a knock.
“Offroad!” Poon’s voice came first then followed by him appearing into the kitchen. “Oh shit sorry I did not know you had company,” he said, pausing in his tracks at the unfamiliar faces.
“It’s fine these are Chance’s friend Jay’s parents. Daou organized a play date,” Offroad said, glaring at his husband.
“Isn’t Chance a bit too old for play dates?” Poon laughed, giving Offroad a quick hug.
“Your godchild is currently in a love triangle and I don’t know how yet, but it’s your fault,” Daou said, pushing the man away from Offroad.
“It’s been like 6 years, knock it off already,” Poon pouted.
“Oh, are you not Chance’s father?” Pim asked, looking at them confused. “He looks so much like you though,” Offroad saw the horror on Daou’s face before busting out laughing.
“No, he is the biological father to all 3 of my children, we just separated before Chance was born. It’s a whole thing but we go back together,” Offroad laughed.
“Oh my god I am so sorry,” Pim said looking nervously.
“Uncle Poon!” Chance’s voice echoed in the house as the boys came in from inside. Chance and Charlie both rushed over to greet Poon but Charlie paused halfway, his face lighting up as soon as he laid eyes on Daou.
“Daddy!” Charlie squealed and ran to Daou who scooped him up.
“Hey buddy,” Daou greeted their son.
“In this house, I’m chopped liver,” Offroad said, rolling his eyes.
“Handsome chopped liver though,” Daou laughed, sitting Charlie down.
The doorbell went off again and this time Daou went to answer it as the boys waved bye to Poon and headed up the stairs to Chance’s room. Jin was followed by his wife, Mimi, and Hunter. Daou informed the boy the others were up the stairs playing and Hunter took off. Poon began immediately helping Daou with getting everyone drinks and Daou made introductions.
“Was this just a surprise visit or did you need something?” Offroad asked Poon.
“Oh, um we can talk about it later,” Poon smiled at him but Offroad could see the sadness lurking there and Offroad immediately understood. Poon and his alpha, Marc, had been trying for a baby but had no luck and had started the process of IVF but unfortunately, it also wasn’t taking. Offroad gripped his friend’s hand and gave him a reassuring smile. Offroad had promised the man when they had started that no matter what he was going to be with him every step of the way and had paid for the treatments himself even after the protesting. Poon saved him in more ways than he could count and it was the least Offroad could do to repay him.
Minutes seemed to fly by as everyone began to laugh about the funny stories of the children. Poon even offered his own on Chance from when he was younger. Offroad had heard footsteps above his head of the children playing. Pim and Mimi seemed to hit it off really well and Offroad was glad to help forge a new friendship for her as she as a stay-at-home mom didn’t get out much. Daou had just asked about dinner when Offroad heard the loud thud followed by a cry.
“Charlie!” Poon was the first to shout and take off towards the sound. Offroad was right after him.
“What is wrong with you!” Offroad heard the boy Jay shout as they raced up the stairs. “He is a baby!”
“You’re my friend!” Offroad heard Chance yell now.
“You ignored me for Hunter!” Jay yelled back they reached Charlie’s room to see the two boys in each other’s faces as Jay protectively stood over Charlie who was sitting next to his knocked-down play table crying.
“Daddy!” Charlie cried, getting up and racing over to Offroad.
“What is going on!?” Offroad asked as he bent down checking over Charlie.
“Chance?” Poon asked and Offroad watched his son go through about 100 emotions before he just started crying and running to Poon.
“This is your fault,” Hunter sighed looking at Jay who also now looked like he was about to cry.
“I didn’t do anything, I didn’t mean to make him cry I promise,” the boy began to stutter out.
“It’s okay,” Offroad said reassuring the boy, “You want to tell me what happened?”
“Chance wanted to play with Hunter, but I didn’t. Charlie said he had coloring stuff in his room. I like coloring. They weren’t letting Charlie play with us. So I came in here to play with Charlie.” The boy explained. “It was fine and then Chance came in and Charlie’s tried to show him the page we had colored and Chance shoved him,”
“Chance Dunapol!” Offroad scolded his son.
“He is my friend, he won’t play with Hunter but he will play with Charlie, that’s not fair!” Chance yelled from Poon’s stomach.
“He is an alpha alright,” Pim sighed.
“I don’t like Hunter!” Jay said, giving a nasty look to Hunter.Â
“I don’t like you either!” Hunter pouted back. Offroad sighed he knew what was happening and why his son was acting the way that he was.
“Boys!” Mimi yelled.
“I want to go home,” Jay said quietly.
“Okay,” Offroad heard Pim say. “Thank you for inviting us, sorry it ended on a bad note,” Pim smiled at Offroad as Jay walked towards her.
“Bye Charlie,” Jay said as Charlie waved to him and turned to look at Chance who was still crying into Poon’s stomach.
“Are you going to say goodbye to your friend?” Poon asked Chance. After a moment of silence, Jay just kept walking towards his mom.
“Thank you for sticking up for Charlie, and know this wasn’t your fault okay, I’ll talk to Chance,” Offroad said smiling at the boy.
“Offroad can you show our guest out? I need to speak with Chance,” Daou said, stepping into the room. Chance immediately turned towards him, now crying into his stomach. Offroad could sense Daou releasing his pheromones as a way to calm not only their sons but him as well. Offroad knew the conversation that was about to happen and was thankful for his husband at that moment.

Daou POV
“I didn’t mean to push Charlie, I just got so angry. Jay is my friend,” Charlie sniffled into his stomach.
“Chance, you will apologize to your brother but first we need to have a conversation,” Daou sighed, taking a seat on Charlie’s bed. “Do you remember when Papa and Daddy would argue over Uncle Poon?” Daou was never fond of his behavior when it came to Poon and his closeness with his husband and it had only settled down once Poon and his husband marked each other. Chance nodded his head. “That is because of my alpha side, the side you also have that makes you feel possessive over the things it has claimed as yours. When Papa was your age he was the same way. I was mean to my friends and to my mom and dad,”
“I feel so confused all the time, it makes my head hurt,” Chance said as Daou helped him wipe his tears.
“It will get better but being an alpha doesn’t give you the right to be mean to anyone, especially your little brother,” Daou explained to him.
“Do you think Charlie hates me?” Chance asked in a low voice.
“Charlie could never hate you,” Daou reassured him.
“What am I supposed to do then?” Chance asked. “When I get so angry?”
“Walk away, you won’t get in trouble, I promise,” Daou reassured his son. “But we need to have another conversation about Jay and Hunter,”
“Hunter is my best friend, like Daddy has Uncle Poon,” Chance said looking down at his feet.
“And Jay?” Daou asked, wanting to know if his son understood his own feelings.
“I don’t know, he is my friend,” Chance shrugged. “He is an alpha too,”
“And?” Daou asked.
“Hunter says two alphas can’t be together,”
“Your Uncle Film is engaged to an alpha and he is alpha, so I think maybe Hunter is wrong,” Daou said reassuring his son. Sure alpha pairings were not the norm but they were not impossible either.
“Yeah!” Chance said perking up like a realization smacked him in the face.
“As you get older, there are going to be a lot of people who tell you what’s wrong and what’s right, unfortunately sometimes you are going to have to decide what is right for you is going to be wrong for others but that does not make it wrong, do you understand?” Daou asked his son.
“Is this what you and Daddy mean when you say when I am older I will understand?” Chance asked.
“Exactly, though sometimes it’s also because Papa and Daddy themselves still don’t understand,” Daou laughed. “You need to apologize to your brother,” Daou told his son who nodded and turned to pick up the knocked-over table. Daou knew this point in Chance’s life was going to be rough not only for him but for everyone in the house. He just hoped with a lot of patience and understanding from everyone they would be able to get through in one piece.
…..
Daou had just gotten the kids to bed and walked into his and Offroad’s bedroom. He heard the bathwater running and headed straight to the bathroom. Offroad was standing there in just shorts cleaning his face, a headband pushing his hair out of his eyes. Daou remembered Offroads belly being more pronounced when he was 6 months pregnant with Charlie but the smaller bump seemed to suit him more with his small frame. Daou walked over hugging him from behind inhaling his scent.
“Kids asleep?” Offroad asked as he wiped his face with a rag.
“Yeah,” Daou said, kissing Offroad’s neck. “Give me a second, I’ll take a bath with you,” Daou said, letting Offroad go and making his way out of the bathroom to the closest to remove his clothes from the day and to set out clean ones. When he returned, Offroad had already gotten in the tub. Daou eagerly joined him in the tub pulling Offroad back on his chest to relax.
“Chance is only going to get worse isn’t he?” Offroad asked with a sigh.
“As long as his alpha thinks Jay is his, yeah. Puberty is not going to be fun,” Daou chuckled, wrapping his arms around Offroad.
“What about Hunter?” Offroad asked, snuggling back into him.
“I don’t think that’s the issue. Chance said he was his best friend like his Uncle Poon was to his daddy,” Daou laughed. “Speaking of Poon, what was he here for today?”
“Monday they have an appointment at the hospital to do their last round of IVF, if it doesn’t take they are going to look into adoption. Poon said he was exhausted and finished with all the treatments,” Offroad told him.
“Are you going with him?” Daou asked.
“His appointment is at the time I drop off the boys from school so I won’t have time to go and be back in time for my own appointment at the clinic, besides I’ll just be sitting in a waiting room,” Offroad sighed.
“I can drop them off if you want to go, baby,” Daou offered.
“No it’s fine but thank you,” Offroad sighed. Daou placed his hands on Offroad’s belly hoping to feel the baby kick. Daou was obsessed with feeling. “I think he is sleeping, he was active today,” Offroad told him and Daou immediately pouted. It was then Daou could smell the lust radiating off of Offroad. One thing Daou loved about Offroad being pregnant was the man smelled of lust 24/7 and it drove him absolutely mad.
“Are you in your 3rd trimester?” Daou whispered into Offroad’s ear as he reached down, gripping his husband’s cock.
“Not another 4 weeks,” Offroad moaned. Daou in the flesh was helping Offroad lower himself onto his hard cock.
“Fuck, yes,” Daou moaned. “You know the first time I knotted you it was while I envisioned this,” Daou moaned as Offroad began to bounce sending water everywhere.
“What fucking me in the tub?” Offroad moaned.
“No you riding my cock, pregnant, your belly swelled with our child,” Daou said as he kissed Offroads back. His hand was secured around his stomach.
“This coming from the man who needed the doctor’s permission to fuck me last time?” Offroad giggled but it quickly turned into a whimper as Daou snapped his hips thrusting into Offroad hard. “Fuck baby,” Daou pulled Offroad back against his chest, pinning him there as he fucked him.Â
“I want you to have more of my babies,” Daou moaned. Think about fucking Offroad filling him up with cum and breeding him had Daous knot already started to form.
“You just want to breed me don’t you,” Offroad moaned as Daou could feel his knot that had already begun to form catching on his hole. Daou whimpered at Offroads’ words as the man reached up, threading his fingers through his short hair and turning his head to be able to kiss him.
“I want my cum dripping out of you,” Daou moaned as his thrusts increased.
“You just want everyone to know I’m yours,” Offroad moaned bringing his knees up to give Daou more room to fuck him.
“Because you are mine,” Daou growled and thrusted with each word Daou could feel his alpha rising up his mouth was watering his knot was getting bigger, and his teeth were elongating.
“Mark me,” Offroad whimpered and Daou struck his teeth sinking into Offroad’s neck. Daou whined as he felt Offroads’ hole clench so tight around him as the boy’s cock started spraying cum all over his belly. Daou felt his knot lock himself in Offroad swelling as he himself began to cum. Daou finally let go of Offroads’ neck to catch his breath.
“Fuck, you drive me insane,” Daou moaned panting hard.
“It’s all my pleasure to do so,” Offroad smiled, collapsing his weight back onto Daou and lowering his legs. “I don’t think we thought this one through,” Daou had to agree looking at the mess that was around them.
“Relax for just a bit more,” Daou said, kissing Offroads’ head. Reaching up to turn on the faucet to replenish the hot water as he wiped his stomach clean with a washcloth.
“I love you,” Offroad said softly.
“I love you,” Daou said back.
They laid in the tub until Daou’s knot had gone down. Then Daou had helped Offroad rinse off in the shower before they got in their pajamas and laid down in bed. Offroad like typical was facing around from him so Daou could snuggle up against his back.
“Oh!” Offroad shouted in the dark, Daou felt him grab his hand and placed it on his belly right as the baby began kicking.
“Hi, my baby,” Daou whispered, rubbing the spot over and over where the baby was kicking. “I think we have a soccer player on our hands,” Daou chuckled.
“Yeah well hopefully he can learn to kick a ball and not my bladder,” Offroad asked, his hand now resting on top of Daou’s.
“Do you really believe it’s a boy?” Daou asked.
“I do,”
“I don’t know you seem different this pregnancy,” Daou said, pulling Offroad closer back against him. Offroads had snapped back to look at him.
“Different how?” Offroad asked, his eyes narrowing at Daou.
“You’re more pissy for starters, more jumpy, your fuse is a lot shorter,” Daou said as his lips touched Offroads neck. “More sensitive,” Daou said as he kissed and licked over his fresh mark.
“I’m always this sensitive,” Offroad gasped. “I don’t know maybe will have to have a 4th to compare,”
“Really!?” Daou asked now excitedly. Daou always said he would have as many babies as Offroad wanted but he secretly wanted his own little army.
“Maybe as long as there are no complications with this little guy,” Offroad chuckled, rubbing his stomach.
“You hear that bean, be good so we can make you an older sibling,” Daou said, turning Offroad into his back and kissing his stomach.
“You are a goof,” Offroad laughed, attempting to push Daou’s head away.
“Yeah but I’m your goof,” Daou said, resting his head on Offroad stomach. He knew he sounded insane when he told people he could hear their babies heart heartbeats inside of Offroad’s stomach but he swears he could. It sounded like horses running through a pasture. It calmed not only him but his alpha. This was where he belonged, laying on Offroads swollen belly, listening to their baby, their kids passed out down the hall as Offroad ran his hand through his hair. This was home.
