I can’t believe I actually went through with this.

Killua grumbled internally, as he slowly walked towards his new classroom. Upon hearing about his feats at the U.S.J, the principal had informed him that since he passed the written exam, he could very easily grant Killua permission to join U.A as a student. He’d kind of lost interest in the whole hero thing, the only reason he’d been super insistent was he just wanted to get out of the house and do something exciting. Now he could do anything he damn well pleased, Shota was gone for hours each day.

But alas, Shota finally agreed to let him attend. Killua thought it would be a bit odd if he suddenly lost interest in the heroism thing, perhaps it would even be a bit suspicious. Killua certainly would’ve found it suspicious in that situation. He came upon the large set of doors and let out a deep sigh, hoping he wouldn’t regret this decision in the long run. Killua pushed his way past the door and into the room, wincing as it slammed against the wall loudly. He was still getting used to how much certain things weighed. The difference in strength felt miniscule to him, but ones strength suddenly being several tons stronger made a very big difference to what was around him.

As the door slammed, all eyes in the room snapped to him. However one person which he was not expecting to see, was Shota. Standing in the front of the room. Teaching. He barely got out of the hospital and he’s already trying to teach? Killua huffed and shot Shota a cross look. “You should be resting, Shota.” The room was dead silent as he spoke in such a way to his new teacher. Shota let out a soft groan of annoyance, his arms and face were all bandaged up but Killua knew him well enough to know if he could, he’d be glaring daggers at Killua. “And you’re ten minutes late to class. Sit down. In this room, I am your teacher and you are to address me as such.”

Killua rolled his eyes and scanned the room, noticing a single seat was unoccupied. He strolled over leisurely and plopped down on the chair, resting his hands behind his head to get comfortable. “Yeah yeah, sorry Aizawa.” Shota ignored his sass, turning his attention to the rest of the class. “Back to what I was saying. You all might have noticed that a certain classmate of yours is missing. That is because he’s been removed from the hero course, and transferred to general studies.”

Killua blinked. So me being here kicked some random kid out of their spot? Damn. He felt bad for all of five seconds, then he realized who exactly wasn’t sitting in the room with them. Oh, it was just that toddler sized pervert. Good riddance. “I know having a new classmate is exciting. You can ask questions after class, but for now, focus. What I’m about to say is important.” Killua only half paid attention, he was too busy thinking about how he was going to design his hero outfit. Every hero had to have this kind of costume thing, a practice that baffled him but also seemed extremely interesting.

Nothing too crazy, I could just modify my usual outfit. I could use the same shoes, but maybe use a bodysuit instead of an undershirt? Killua tapped his finger on the table rhythmically as he thought, desperately wishing he had a piece of paper. I could probably add some sort of belt with the Hunter’s symbol on it. If anyone recognizes it, that’ll be a big help. Killua had given up trying to find a way back home, as it was virtually impossible. He’d scoured every library and database on the internet he could find while he was holed up at home to try to find anything on Hunters. I can’t just throw that in without some accents though, maybe some fingerless gloves? That could work, although his sleeves would be a little bare…

“Hey! Your name’s Killua right?”

Killua was snapped out of his thoughts as he heard the kid behind him ask him a question. Killua turned his head to see a kid with messy green curls. That one’s Midoriya isn’t it? “Hm? Yeah. Need something?” Killua questioned. Class seemed to have ended, and most of the students were chatting amongst themselves. “Huh? Oh nothing really. I was just wondering what your quirk was. You were really fast in the U.S.J, maybe some sort of enhancement type quirk?” The guy just kept rambling on about his theories, and Killua honestly just wanted to shut him up. “I’m actually quirkless. I do this thing called working out.” He said dryly.

Midoriya’s eyes widened in shock, and he was speechless for a moment before he finally managed to stammer out. “Q-Quirkless..?” Why is he acting like it’s such a big deal? Last he checked, being quirkless wasn’t all that uncommon. Sure it was 20% of the population, but that was extremely high compared to a good deal of other statistics. “Is there a problem with that?” Midoriya shook his head. “No- I mean yes but no-“

Killua pushed himself to his feet with a yawn. “I don’t really have any issues because of it.” Suddenly, another voice popped up from behind him. “Did I hear that right? You’re quirkless?” Killua turned his head once again, only to be startled by what appeared to be floating clothing. “Uh, yeah?” He replied, with a confused frown. “Anyways, I’m hungry, bye.” He said abruptly, walking straight out of that room. If only Killua knew what he’d caused by straight up admitting that, maybe he wouldn’t have been so careless.
