The internship was a lot less exciting than Killua had anticipated. Sure the interviews and photoshoots were interesting, but after the first few he’d learned all he needed to. It was the night of the third day, and Killua was so goddamn bored. He, Kendo, and Momo were walking down the street, chatting. “What if we went and did something exciting?” Momo groaned, looking exhausted. “I’m so tired after filming that hair commercial, we had to do like a million takes.” Killua hummed, slipping his hands in his pockets. “Well, since we’re in more casual clothes, how about we go wind down at a bakery? I know just the one.”

Killua had done some research about the area, mapping places to go see after the internship activities. “I could use something to eat.” Kendo mused, glancing at Momo. Momo sighed, letting out a grudging mutter. “Fine.”

“This was an amazing idea.”

Killua said, in between stuffing his face with a pastry. He was still irritated by needing to replace the mask between nearly every bite, but the flavor was so worth it. “Can’t argue with that.” Kendo commented, taking a small bite from a cupcake she’d gotten. Momo nibbled on an eclair, looking as if she was about to fall asleep. He yawned, relaxing back against the comfortable cushions of the bakery booths. Just as he was getting comfortable, he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. “Eh?”

Killua fished it out, then squinted at the notification. Midoriya sent his location? That was strange. Why would he suddenly send his location and nothing else? Especially because him and the messy haired teen weren’t even friends. Killua initially wrote it off, going back to enjoying his sweets. But something about it just felt…off. If it was some sort of accident, that idiot would have replied with an apology already. But he didn’t. What motivation would he have for sending his location to me? Momo had fallen asleep, so he let his curiosity get the best of him and powered her phone on.

Killua ignored Kendo’s query at first, frowning slightly as he noticed she’d also been sent a location at the exact time. “Killua? What are you doing?” Killua glanced at Kendo, tapping his mask thoughtfully. “Midoriya just sent his location to all his contacts, I think. It’s the only reason I can think of that it would’ve gotten sent to me. He has all his classmates’ numbers, but we don’t talk. We aren’t friends. So I checked Momo’s phone, and she got the same alert..”

“That does sound really weird.” Kendo replied, a look of worry going across her face. “What if its a signal for help?” Do I really care? Killua thought, feeling irritated. He was having a good time, eating sweets, after a long day of doing nothing. “I mean, it’s close by. You could get there in about ten minutes.” Kendo mentioned, peering at his phone. Killua let out a groan, raking a hand through his hair. “Ugh, fine. I’ll go check it out. Make sure Momo gets to bed.” He got to his feet, giving himself a nice stretch before grumpily leaving his bakery. There better be an actual emergency because if not I swear I’m gonna hurt someone.

Killua picked up the speed, taking only five minutes to get to Hosu city.. He wasn’t in the mood to waste time. However as he approached the city, something most certainly wasn’t right. Is that fire? He thought, growing slightly alarmed. He quickly called Momo’s phone, knowing Kendo was with her. Kendo picked up. “Killua? Wh-” Killua spoke over her. “I see fire, something sure as hell ain’t right here. I’m going to see what’s up. Make sure to tell Uwabami. If I don’t come back, follow the location Midoriya sent.”

He hung up on her before she could respond, dodging through chaos on the streets to get to the location. As he rounded the corner, his breath caught in his throat. The hero killer, the man who’d been on the news, was standing over Iida. Todoroki, Midoriya, and another man all laid prone on the ground, immobile. Killua didn’t have any particular attachment to Iida or Midoriya, but he’d rather not let his classmates die. “So it’s a party out here isn’t it? Sorry for being late.” Killua said, striding forward confidently, hands in his pockets.

He might not have been in his hero costume, but Killua was sure the hero killer would recognize him by the mask at the very least. All four pairs of eyes snapped in his direction as he spoke up. “Another one?” Stain growled, his eyes squinting. “Hold on a minute, I’ve seen that mask before.” Killua kept his head level. “You have one chance to drop your weapons, before you’ll no longer be able to hold them.” He said, coldly. The hero killer sneered, fully turning in his direction. “Ah, I see the resemblance. You have the eyes of someone who’s from the underworld.” Killua stiffened slightly, forcing himself not to react heavily to that statement.

“I’ll have you know I’m in the hero course, and those are my classmates you’re trying to kill. I’m only going to say this one more time.” He started, tilting his head back and letting out a wave of bloodlust. “Forfeit your weapons, before I make you.” Stain’s lip curled down. “You have no right to call yourself a hero.” He spat, raising his blade. Killua tensed, ready to attack. When suddenly, he heard a voice. A voice that made Killua’s entire body freeze up.

“You are not to hurt my brother.”

~~~~~~Kalluto’s PoV~~~~~~
Kalluto had been told to make sure Stain didn’t cause ‘issues’. After the previous incident, Shigaraki had finally decided to stop treating him like a child. However, upon seeing his brother, Kalluto could no longer keep the obedience he’d previously shown to the league. Family came first, always. Even over clients. Kalluto landed silently between the hero killer and his brother. The expression of shock that went across his face was almost comical. Kalluto turned, leveling a murderous glare at Stain.
You lay a finger on him, and it’ll be your head.
Kalluto threatened, fanning out his weapon. Realistically, Killua would be able to dispose of this pathetic hero killer in a moment. However, knowing he was in the hero course, Kalluto knew he wouldn’t just kill Stain. Why is he infiltrating U.A? Kalluto wondered to himself. Surely it was for some sort of mission or job, he couldn’t think of any other reason. “Brother?” Midoriya gasped, from his place on the floor. Kalluto only really knew him from the fact that Shigaraki never shut up about wanting him dead.
Stain started to sweat a little, and he dropped his blade. His pride didn’t let him acknowledge the fact he was submitting his control to a thirteen year old though. “Honestly, I should’ve guessed you two were related. I see the resemblance. Not in physical features, per say. But still, the resemblance is there.” Kalluto turned his eyes away from Stain, paying no more attention to him. He instead focused on his brother, who he’d been dying to come face to face to for years. He opened his mouth to ask him a question, one he’d been dying to ask since the moment Killua had stabbed his mother in the face and ran away. However before he could, Killua delivered a hard chop across his neck. His eyes rolled back, and he was rendered unconscious. Without even a moment to think about what had just happened.
