“Are you ready?”
“Almost, just wait a second!”
“How far away is the little flower shop anyway?”
“About 45 minutes.”
“Alright. I’m coming to the common room.”

“There is something I want to tell you,”
“I like you, romantically.” Shoto admits. His heart was like intense drums, he could feel the beat in his tongue. He felt hot regardless of how hard he tried to regulate his quirk. A tiny flame formed on his shoulder as a light blush was painted under his eyes.
“I know. I like you too.” Katsuki responds. His words were non chalant yet the way he spoke easily exposed his nervous nature. Shoto noticed the way Katsuki occasionally wiped his hands on his pants. (More than usual)
“Wait. So you knew I was confessing to you?” Shoto thought back to their previous texts just the day before. “Why did you pretend not to know then?”
“I didn’t want some cheap out confession over text.” Katsuki admitted as he braided each flower into each other. Katsuki glanced over at Shoto, flashing him a smile. “I mean come on, we were both being fucking obvious.”
Shoto pauses for a second taken aback by the sight in front of him. Katsuki was smiling while a pink blush was present across his cheeks. The golden light poured into the room painting Katsukis pale skin. The light accentuated his sharp jawline and cheekbones. The flowers behind him were painted in that same golden light complimenting Katsukis ash blonde hair.
“Then why didn’t you confess sooner?” Shoto asked, his eyes watching how the light laid across Katsukis skin.
“Sure it was obvious, but I still didn’t fucking believe it.”
Shoto was confused by Katsukis statement. But before he asked any further questions he realized what the blonde meant, because he felt the same way. The sprouting feelings of love may have been obvious, but the uncertainty and unbelievable nature of the situation made confessions look like a path of unrequited love. In short, their feelings were blatant but rejection still seemed so close.
“Understandable.” Shoto let out before a light “Hm?” Penetrated his lips. He felt a weight placed on his head, something spiking poking against his scalp.
Katsuki quickly turned away with a blush coating his face. When Shoto touched his head he realized a flower crown was occupying his head. When he took it off to look at it he saw blue and orange flowers intertwined in a beautiful braid.
“It looks nice.”
“I know.”
They sat in silence for a bit as Shoto examined the flower crown.
“What are we?” Shoto slowly spoke.
“Hopefully, dating.”
“Hopefully? That’s nice.”
“Shut. We dating or not?”
“Yes. We are.”
“Good.”

You arent obligated to read Part 2 but if you do I greatly appreciate it. Also, thank you everyone who has read this far and gave me so much support! You’re all amazing!
