A Certain Someone ( The On1y One ) Chapter 102 – Neutered

It’s Wang-zai’s Birthday, So Let’s Tease Him for a Bit~

Sheng Wang certainly knew that there was no way Sheng Mingyang would come to an acceptance within the span of a single meal, but he could feel the wavering and hesitation coming from the other person — that was enough. On the way back, he slowly cheered up again, and was even a little carelessly excited. But soon, he thought of two other people again.

“When is Auntie Jiang and Grandpa Ding coming over?” Sheng Wang asked.
Jiang Tian’s fingers — which were in the midst of typing replies to messages — paused. “There’s still a while.”
Before he came back to this country, Old Man Ding’s nursing home had cooperated with a travel agency, and arranged for a travel-style healing trip for a group of old people with similar symptoms, ensuring that they would always be in a relaxed state of mind. The main form of travel was with nursing and recovery at its core, it wouldn’t be tiring, and they would rest for a bit every few days. Jiang Ou followed along; on one hand, it’s to take care of the old man, and on the other, it’s for herself to relax a little too.
According to the itinerary, it would be the end of the month by the time they arrive in Beijing,

Sheng Wang recalled the way Jiang Ou was utterly hysterical, and was still a little shaken by that. However, he also remembered the way Jiang Ou was gentle and amiable at the very start, spoiling him as though he was her own son.
According to everyone, travelling can relieve stress. With her own innate self, she wouldn’t exactly go from kind to evil. So while he remained apprehensive, there was a slight trace of hope within him. Sheng Mingyang was already starting to loosen up — Jiang Ou wouldn’t be so bad to be completely unmoved at all.
Now that he was thinking that way, everything seemed to be heading towards a good direction — all that there’s left was time.

Sheng Wang was in a decent mood, and detoured to Shijingshan in his car.
Jiang Tian may not be familiar with the roads in Beijing, but no matter what, he wouldn’t reach the point of not being able to tell north south from east west; at the very least, he could still tell the road signs.
He stared at the giant road sign, asking, “You’re going back?”
“I’m getting some change of clothes,” Sheng Wang had already treated Jiang Tian’s place as his own territory as a matter of factly. He had decided on his own to exhaust the final holiday in the New Year there, and after he spoke, he then recalled that the owner of the house himself was sitting right next to him. He then affectedly asked, “Can I stay over at your place for these two days?”

Jiang Tian actually did quite enjoy the way Sheng Wang forcibly took over his territory like that. The lights of the city appeared like dots of stars outside the car; the effects of the alcohol were a little strong. He reclined against the passenger seat. His tone was rather flat as he lazily teased Sheng Wang, “Give me a reason.”
“You’re putting up airs now?” Sheng Wang thought, and said, “I want to caress the cat, does this reason work?”
Jiang Tian said, sounding indifferent, “Rejected.”
Sheng Wang: “Its name is already Wangzai, do I not have the right to caress it?”
Jiang Tian: “Mn, you don’t.”
Sheng Wang changed his mind without even thinking. “Does it work if you’re the one I’m caressing instead?”
After he said that, he felt like something about that sentence was rather wrong somehow, and the car very quickly fell into an strange silence. Sheng Wang struggled a little, and said, “No wait, I’m not trying to act like a pervert in the middle of the streets, maybe I should change the verb.”
“Touch? Forget it.”
“Play with? That’s not right either.”

The more he said, the more lewd the line was, the more perverted he sounded.
Just as he was still trying to come up with more words, he heard his Ge say, completely monotone, “Shut up already.”

Sheng Wang couldn’t resist anymore, and burst into laughter for quite a while as he held the steering wheel. Jiang Tian rubbed his head heavily.

Due to the way this perverted talk honestly burned at the ear, and imagining it was even more so……in any case, the cold and mighty, austere Dr. Jiang chose to be silent on the journey back, not quite paying heed to anyone else. Only when Sheng Wang went back to his residence and started picking out clothes, he then came back online again.
Sheng Wang took two sets of T-shirts and long pants for home wear, he said, “I have that there.”
Sheng Wang then took the shirts he had to wear for work, he then also said, “I have that there.”

In a nutshell, he would claim that he already had it no matter what he took, causing Sheng Wang to feel unsure as to whether he should cry or laugh. In the end, he piled all the clothes on top of him, asking, “Ge, tell me the truth. Do you have a fetish for me wearing your clothes?”
Jiang Tian moved his lips wordlessly, and took the clothes, turning to leave with a look on his face that said that he was completely done, leaving Sheng Wang’s eyes to be filled with delight. He picked an entire huge bag of stuff from his closet.

Jiang Tian placed the giant lump of things into the backseats, and asked in confusion, “What’s this that you’re taking.”
Sheng Wang buckled his safety belt, and backed out of the neighbourhood. “Cat toys. I’m lodging over for two days, I’m in its territory, of course I have to gain its favour, right? Kids from single parent families are usually more sensitive.”
Jiang Tian: “……”

The snow gradually stopped once more, a vast patch of white filled up around them. The car passed through the whiteness in the night, so quiet that languidity would sprout within the hearts of people.
Sheng Wang stopped at the red light at the entrance of the street. He suddenly heard Jiang Tian say, “When do you intend to let it return to a family with both parents then?”

His voice was low, matching rather nicely with the darkness of the night. Sheng Wang touched his right earlobe, his heart itching a little. “Doesn’t it count as one now?”
“What kind of family with two parents has one of them staying for only two days with a suitcase in hand and then running away afterwards?” Jiang Tian said.
Sheng Wang let out an “oh”, and turned to look at the passenger seat as the red light counted down. “Ge.”
“Mn,” Jiang Tian replied.
“Are you inviting me to move in with you?”
“Are you agreeing then?” Jiang Tian asked.
The red light jumped to green. Sheng Wang’s gaze returned back to the front, and stepped on the gas pedal. He teased, “Wow, this is something major. I gotta give it a little more thought.”

In the gap of waiting for the green light, he imagined along the lines of Jiang Tian’s invitation — they live together in a corner of the university, raise a cat together, and then gradually sway over their family with the power of time.
For an instant, he felt like this life was familiar, and his mind was momentarily vacant before he recalled dazedly; that’s the future university life he and Jiang Tian had envisioned, the day Jiang Tian turned 18 and they were hidden away in his room.

Fate is sometimes an inexorable presence in this world. Inexorably, they still ended up living the life they had once imagined, just that it was a couple of years late by accident.

*
When they went back, the single-parent-family-raised cat son did not appear to welcome them, which was out of the ordinary. Instead, it was gazing into the far distance, two paws resting against the window sill. Who knows if the cat was engaged in deep philosophical thought, thinking.
Jiang Tian checked around, and discovered that it was because the bowl for cat food was empty.

Just as he opened the box for cat food, the Watcher of the Far Distance who was previously contemplating life pounced over like it was flying. It pawed at the legs of his pants, rubbing its face all over it. Its nose was even tilted up, dotting little kisses, trying to act obedient.

Sheng Wang’s giant bag of cat toys had already been left untouched in his own house for too long, now that he finally grasped the opportunity to play with it, he instantly poured all of them out. He opened up the packaging, trying them one after another.
This person did not sit on the sofa despite the availability of one, and sat on the carpet with his legs crossed instead, hitting it off with the cat.

Jiang Tian observed from the side for a while. He discovered how someone may be going on about wanting to “gain the favour of the cat”, but whatever shady business he was engaged in was asking for a beating. The cat child stood on its hindlegs, its paws were reached out to bat at the cat teaser. Yet he had to tug at the cat’s leg as if he was launching a sneak attack, and then watch his cat son lose its balance, falling onto the floor with a poof.
The cat was too annoyed, and turned around, wanting to escape. Yet he insisted on holding onto one of the cat’s hindlegs, preventing the cat from escaping no matter how the three other legs kicked about. He forced the cat’s hand to the point that its paw was reached out, eagerly trying to slap him — his hand reached up, and ended up high-fiving the cat instead.

With that — over and over again — the cat didn’t dare to go near him anymore, and sprawled on the windowsill, aggrieved and woeful.
Sheng Wang was ignored no matter how he waved the cat teaser, and couldn’t help but to turn and ask Jiang Tian, “Why does it keep looking outside the window? Back then, when I wanted to keep a cat, I’d done my research. It says that if the cat keeps wanting to go outside, it’s possibly in heat.”
Jiang Tian: “……”

His stomach was full of retorts, just that he didn’t know which line he should pick to throw it back at Sheng Wang. In the end, he settled for exasperatedly saying, “It’s not in heat, it had been neutered already.”
Sheng Wang let out an “oh”, and went to fiddle with his cat teaser again.

A few seconds later, he abruptly realised something, and whipped around to ask, “What did you say? You’ve neutered it already?”
Jiang Tian was a little baffled. “Mn, why?”
“You gave it the name Wangzai, and then you castrated it???” Sheng Wang was incredulous.

His expression was honestly so animated that Jiang Tian was stunned for a while before he couldn’t resist anymore, and started laughing as he squeezed a tiny cotton mouse.
“You’re laughing?” Sheng Wang tossed the cat teaser aside and pounced over, dragging his Ge down from the couch. As he tickled him, he said, “You’re totally full of bad intentions, why didn’t you call it Xiao-Jiang instead? Don’t you dare run away—”

Jiang Tian chuckled while avoiding him. “How old are you already, still using this trick?”
Sheng Wang said, with absolute conviction, “I’m eighteen!”

As he laughed and cussed, his hand reached towards the direction of Jiang Tian’s groin, initially wanting to say “how about you get a taste of that too”. However, with all that messing around, the two became aroused as they were entangled up with each other.
Sheng Wang propped himself against the carpet, a wave of red slowly creeping up his neck.
He licked his lips, pulled Jiang Tian down and kissed him, biting too, and then peppering kisses from his jaw down to his Adam’s apple. Just as he was about to play a little mischief, he felt a hand reaching inside his long pants as it slid down his hip bones.
He grasped Jiang Tian’s wrist, and arched inwards while folding up a single leg. His eyes were narrowed, and his lips were pressed onto Jiang Tian’s Adam’s apple as he let out a couple of breathy pants. Jiang Tian’s Adam’s apple was rather red too, and his gaze descended upon him, down from the direction of his thin eyelids. He kissed Sheng Wang’s lips, trailing to [the edge of his neck], and then suddenly stopped as the other person still sat on the fence.
Sheng Wang was starting to be unable to bear it anymore, and turned aside, giving him a bite. His voice was raspy as he called him “Ge”.
Jiang Tian shut his eyes before he opened them again. He watched the other person’s eyes — always bright and clear—tear up, and then he lowered his head, muffling back the noises that threatened to spill out of him.

By the time the two were done messing around, the carpet was a mess, and the cat had long since disappeared to who knows where.
Sheng Wang reached out and grabbed a glass of water. He drank two mouthfuls before passing it to Jiang Tian. He kissed the other person’s jaw, seemingly still wanting more. He asked him like he was doing so for fun, “Ge, do you know that there’s also another method?”

They were adults after all, he was certain that Jiang Tian did know. He merely wanted to casually be a pervert for a bit, and would stop after he scratched that itch. Unexpectedly, his Ge’s gaze swept over from the end of his eyes while he was drinking water, saying, “I don’t know.”
“……”
Sheng Wang internally said, are you for real? He continued asking in bafflement, “It’s fine if you haven’t watched anything, but have you not heard of it at all?”

Jiang Tian withdrew his gaze, and turned to face up as he took yet another mouthful of water. And then his elbow was propped on his curled knee, his thin and long fingers pinched the mouth of the glass in circles as he asked, “No, why don’t you demonstrate?”
Sheng Wang: “……”

At this point, he was finally certain: someone’s ability to play stupid in order to mess with him was totally refined to the point of perfection.
