Malik’s POV
Today,I was taking my Ayan somewhere special. He was so excited when I told him last night.
The kisses and loving I got was worth it.
I stand outside the palace gates waiting for him to join me. I told him to wear comfortable clothes.
Minutes later,I see a shadow and feel arms around my waist,I don’t even turn around, I know who it is.
I let out the breath I was holding and whisper,
“Ayan,Ya Rouhi(my beloved)
“Na’am(yes)he says and slowly presses his lips softly to mine”
I hold him around the waist and deepen the kiss while he reaches his hands out to shove them into my hair as I kiss him harder.
I pull away and look at him,
“Let’s go” I say
He nods but as we are about to mount the horses,he stops and says,
“Are all these soldiers coming with us? Why are we being escorted by your fellow soldiers.
I look at him then back at my guard of fifty and say to him,
“They are just looking out for us”
“Are you someone important? He asks wide eyed
“Maybe” I reply cheekily
He laughs and this tym he gets on his horse by himself. I mount Naem my horse and we ride hard and fast through the scorching desert, through the sand dunes till we reach a place of magnificent beauty_the major oasis in Jalen.

I hear a shout from Ayan and turn back alarmed. I burst out laughing after realizing what has happened. Because he was over staring, he fell off the horse. I still have to check on him just in case.
“Are you okay?” I ask
I start getting alarmed when he doesn’t reply,
“Ayan,sweetheart,open your eyes for your man, please” I beg you
He doesn’t respond when I shake him. I quickly carry him into the nearest tent and shout for some wine,I put it next to his nose so he can inhale it. He slowly opens his eyes but he is looking pale, he reaches his hand slowly towards me,I take it and kiss it,

“What happened Habib(sweetheart)?” I ask him
“Falcon,someone threw a snake at the horse and it panicked and dropped me” he replies.
I stand up fuming with rage wondering what my guards were up to when my sweetheart was falling. I pick up my sword and shout for them.

When they come in and see my renown sword,they all drop on one knee,
“Sire”they say
“What were you all doing when Ayan was falling off the horse?” I shout
“We didn’t realize anything, it happened so fast. We are sorry sire
“I should punish you all for this” I say still angry
“We accept whatever punishment you decide your highness,forgive us for failing you” they chorus

Then I see Ayan struggling to get up,
“Please,let them be,its not their fault,they couldn’t have known” he asks
I go to him and hug him,then lay him back down,
“Your wish is my command” I tell him
“Thank you” he replies

“You may go and be very vigilant next time” I say to my guard while dismissing them
They all bow and go out.

I lay down next to him and I reach out for him. He runs his hand on my chest,I lean in and kiss him then I cuddle him and we fall asleep.

Later,we wake up and have something to eat then continue on our tour of the oasis, with its beautiful white sands,lush trees, beautiful flowers and vegetation.

Later in the evening, we get on our horses and head home, back to the palace. I make Ayan stay with me because I need to feel that he is safe.

Somewhere in jalen next to the palace

“Did the plan workout? One asks
“No, they were able to act fast and save him from the fall” his accomplice says
“I guess he was lucky this one time”the other replies
“Well,not forever” the first one replies
