“Mr Ren, why are you here I thought CEO has a meeting?” I said when I saw Mr Ren outside the house.
“Mr Kim, you are early?” he said in shocked.
“Yah, my head hurt a bit so I decided to come home early.”
“Ah, are you okey?” he asked worried.
“Yes.” I said and about to go inside the house.
“Wait, Mr Kim… Actually the CEO having a meeting in the living room.”
“Really? Well I guess he don’t mind if I excuse myself for passing by.” I said and open the main door for me to get shocked.
I saw Duri and a woman who’s trying to kiss him.
“Oops, Sorry. I didn’t mean to interrupt.” I said and passed them by.
“Lula! Wait! Lula!” I heard Duri calling me but I ignored him. I walk toward the room and locked it.
I can’t explain the feeling I have. There’s a anger, pain and doubt. I want to cry but nothing to cry. I felt my knees trembling so i decided to sit in floor beside the the closed door.
Meanwhile in the living room.
“Better go now Lizzy!” Duri shouted.
“Why suddenly mad?” Lizzy asked.
“Ren, drag her out of this house.” Duri ordered before he walk toward the room where Lula locked his self.
“What happened?” Lizzy asked Ren confused.
“Better ready yourself Ms Lizzy. If the boss can’t coax Mr Kim tonight. You know what will happen to you.” before Ren guide her out.
“And who’s that man? Is he important?”
“Watch your mouth Miss. That man is the Madam of this house.”
“Madam?”
“Yes. Boss one and only lover.”
“He has a lover..?” The woman whispered. He can’t hide the fear in her face.
(Lula stocked in floor until he heard Duri shouting outside the door.)
“Lula, open this damn door! Lula, do you hear me? Open this door before I’ll break it!”
I calm myself before I decided to open the door.
“Why so loud?” I said and about to walk away from him.
“Lula.” he embrace me tight. “Listen to me, what you saw is not what you think. There’s nothing between us. That woman is just a business associate.” Duri explained.
I sighed. “Nothing to explain, CEO.”
“No. Look at me.” he forced me to look at him. “I don’t want you to doubted me. You are so special to me. You are the only one I have babe. Please believe me, I love you.” he said seriously.
Did I heard it right? He love me?
“If you want, I bring that woman in front of you and let her tell you the truth, babe.”
“No need.” I slightly pushed him.
“Lula…” he said with his apologizing eyes. Still embracing me tight.
My heart melted. “Okey. I will let this slide for now.”
Duri give me a sweet smile. “Thank you, babe. Is that mean you also love me now?”
“I didn’t say something like that.” I denied.
“When will you tell me?” he said sweetly.
“What?”
“That you love me.”
I pushed him hard. “I’m busy. I’m gonna shower.” then I run away inside the bathroom.
