“I’ll be out in my office all day today babe. Take care of yourself. See you in evening.” Duri said while fixing his necktie in front of the mirror.
“Okey. I will.” I said and help him with his tie.
I felt his arms in my waist. ” By the way babe, I was thinking if you could help me with the organization?” he asked.
I suddenly stop. I didn’t expect him to asked me that favor. “Duri… I can’t kill.” I said in nervous. “I’m afraid of blood.”
“Hey, Babe, I’m not asking you to kill.”
“Then what else you want me to do?”
“I want you to handle the financial issues of the organization.”
“But that’s a big responsibility.”
“I know, but I’m sure you can handle it. Please consider it..”
“Let me think about it first. Working in your company is already stressful.”
“Am I too hard to you?”
“Sometimes.”
He kiss me in the lips. “But I’m also too soft to you.”
“Yes. That’s why you must go now before you get late to your meeting.” I push I’m away to changed the topic.
“I see you later babe.”
“Okey.”
When Duri left. I asked Lucas to drive me in the company.
I saw my secretary waiting for me in the reception area.
“What are doing here Ms Kim?”
“Sir, there’s someone waiting for you in your office. I told him to wait you outside but he insisted to come inside your office.”
“Who is he?” I asked.
“He didn’t gave his name but he told me, he is your father.”
I stunned for a second. Then I look Lucas, he get the signal. He walk first to us while talking in his phone. I heard him alerting the other bodyguard out side the company.
Lucas open the door for me. When I came in I saw an old man sitting in the sofa inside my office.
” Lula…” he stood up when he see me.
I just look at him. I can’t believe this man has this nerve to show infront of me.
“Lula, it’s me your father.” he said when he see me emotionless.
“So, you are still alive.” I said sarcastic.
“Son, all this years I’ve been looking for you.”
“Now that you already see me, you can go now.”
“Lula, Are you not missed your father? Please give me a hug, son.”
“Are you trying to make a joke? You are the one who abandoned me, us. How can you expect me to run to you and give you a hug.”
“Lula, I already regret what I did in the past.”
“Please leave now, I have a work to do.” I said coldly.
“Lula, Im happy that you live a good life now. That you able to have a successful career.” he continue and ignored my coldness.
“I don’t need your drama Sir. Just go.”
“Lula..”
I called Lucas. “Please guide the gentleman outside. I don’t want him to get lost in this building.”
I heard him sighed. “Okey, I leave for now but I will come back to make you listen to me.”
“Lucas please…” as I signed Lucas to drag him away.
I can’t help my tears to fall not because I see my father again but because I remembered what my mom had sacrificed.
