Wade sat on the roof of a tall building, far away from anyone. When he got a random idea; he took his phone out and typed his number into a new text message, but he changed the last number.
“Let’s see who my number neighbor is.” He spoke out loud.
He texted, ‘hey, last night was really fun. Hope we can do it again.’
A few minutes go by before he gets a reply.
When his phones dings a small smile pops on his face.
‘I’m sorry, I think you have the wrong number.’

‘Damn, really? This isn’t that hot blonde I met at the club last night?’ He texted back.
A few more minutes go by.
‘Sorry, no. They must have given you the wrong number.’

‘Just my luck, well are you a hot blonde by any chance?’
This time the reply was immediately.
‘No, I have brown hair.’

‘Cute, little chocolate haired babe 😘’ wade starts to flirt.

‘Sorry I’m not interested in a faceless, nameless person.’

‘My name is wade, and well I’m kinda ugly to look at.’
He waited for the reply, after ten minutes he texted again, ‘did I scare you?’
The person responded with, ‘Please stop texting me.’
Wade sighs and puts his phone away, he didn’t want to upset the random person. Instead he goes down to the streets and heads over to the pizza place.

Wade sits with his large meat lovers pizza and enjoys it in his own company.
“This is the best pie in the city.” He moans with food in his mouth.
A few more people walk in, but he ignores them as he continues to devour his food.
But when a brunet man walks in, he stops eating and feasted his eyes on the beauty that now stood in line.

“Wow, he’s hot.” Wade whispered to himself.
He decided to text the number again, ‘hey, wanna grab some pizza with me?’
He side eyed the man, and watched as he pulled his phone out seconds after he sent the text.
The man replied and wade got the text quickly.
‘Sorry, I’m busy.’

“Oh, it’s him. I know it is.” Wade got excited, wondering what he should text him next to see the reaction he would make.

‘Busy getting pizza with someone else?’ Wade texted.
The man pulls his phone out again, this time his face twitched with surprise, he looks around feeling like he’s being watched, wade was quick to busy himself with eating. The man didn’t pick up on wade, and then texted, ‘no, I’m at work. Please stop texting me.’
Wade didn’t respond right away, he knew the man was looking for someone to grab their phone immediately.

Once he sat down with his friends and got comfortable, that’s when Wade texted him again.
‘Oh okay. I saw a cute brunet and thought maybe it was you 😘’
The mans reaction was priceless, he drops his phone and hides his face as he started to blush.
His friends ask questions but he pushes them away.
Wade knew it was him now, he felt content with finding his number neighbor, and with that he finished his food and got up to leave.

As he walked by the mans table, wade looks right at him and winks before quickly leaving.
All the man could do was blush even more which caused concern from his friends.
“I’m fine, I promise.” He tells them.
He texted Wade again once he regained his confidence, ‘was that you, just now?’

‘What do you mean?’

‘From the pizza shop? You winked at me.’

‘No, I’m at work. You must be paranoid.’ Wade couldn’t help but laugh at himself.

‘Okay, I’m sorry for lying, but I don’t usually talk to random people.’ He could sense the sarcasm through the text.

“Awe now he’s sorry. How cute.” Wade was having way too much fun with this.
‘So let’s introduce ourselves, my name is wade.’

‘I’m Peter. Sorry for being rude.’

‘No problem, peter. Wanna hang out sometime?’

‘Idk, I don’t really know you.’

‘That’s the fun part, we can get to know each other.’

‘Maybe as texting buddies, first.’

‘Okay, texting buddies.’ Wade smiles as he continues to text peter, he hasn’t felt like this in what feels like forever.

A few weeks go by, wade and peter have been texting back and forth nonstop. But they haven’t met in person yet, and wade was getting antsy to see him.
He busied himself as Deadpool, dealing with a loan shark who wouldn’t stop taking out more interest on a poor family.
That family is no longer poor, as he killed the shark and took all his money. Giving most of it to the family, and taking a small portion for himself.

“It’s a good day. I wanna go on a shopping spree.” He skips down the street happily.
Then his phone rings, it’s peter calling him.
“Hiya, you’re calling me for a change.”

“Yeah, um, I wanted to hear your voice.”

“Aw you’re so cute. You can hear my voice in person if you want. I’ll say anything you want to hear, petey.” His tone with flirtatious and he could just tell Peter was blushing on the other end.

“Um, anyways, you wanna meet at the pizza place.”

“No, I can take you some place way better. I just got paid. Meet me in front of sal’s.”

“Sal’s, as in the Italian restaurant, the high-end one?” Peter gasped.

“That’s the one. I’ll see you there.” He ends the call and jumps into the sharks car that he took from his garage, he wouldn’t be needing it anymore.
He was halfway to the restaurant when he remembered what he was wearing.
“Oh shit, I have to change.”
He stops somewhere and goes through the bags of clothes he took from the sharks closet.
[you just can’t not steal stuff] said the voice in his head.
“I’m sorry, am I somehow just as bad as the asshat that hurts innocent people for money? No, so I’ll take what I want from his dumb dead ass.”

He gets into a nice black suit, nothing too fancy. He forgot the tie, but it looked fine without it.
“Now I’m ready for my date.”
[is it a date though?]
“Yes, now shut up.”

Peter stood in front of the restaurant, waiting for a man he’s never met before to introduce himself.
“Stay calm peter, nothing to be nervous about.” He whispered to himself.
Soon a black corvette pulls up, the valet was quickly coming around and opening the door for the driver.
“Keep it nice for me.”

“Yes sir.”

The man walks around the car and looks at peter, he smiles softly. “Peter, nice to finally meet you. I’m Wade.”
“Hi, nice to meet you too.”

“Let’s go inside.”
Peter followed him silently, and kept looking him up and down as they entered the restaurant.
They get seated near the window in a booth, the waitress eyes wade with a bit of discomfort but quickly changed to her best customer service smile.
“Hi, what kind of drinks would you like?”

“I’ll take a Brandi on the rocks.” Said wade.

“Um, sparkling water is fine.” Peter shyly said.
The waitress smiles softly and walks off to get their drinks.
“You don’t wanna drink?”

“No, um, it doesn’t do well for me.”

“That’s too bad, oh well.” Wade shrugs and looks at the menu.

After ordering, they made small talk while enjoying the meal.
“So, how old are you?” Wade asked.

“25, you?”

“You look young for 25, haha. I’m 28.”

“Yeah I get that a lot. Um, how did you…” he felt awkward for trying to ask so he stops.
Wade already knew what his question was, “I had cancer and became a lab rat for a guy who I thought was going to cure me. In a sense he did, but at the price of my beauty.”

“So you don’t have cancer anymore?”

“Nope, but I have to look like this now.”

“You look, good. Um, I mean to say you um…”
He shyly looks away with blush on his cheeks.
“No need to flatter me, I know I’m ugly, but I make up for it by being a freak in the sheets.” He winks.
Peter became even more red and coughs to hide his embarrassment.
Wade chuckles at his innocent behavior.

“Sorry was that too much? I know we talked about dating a little bit, but you never showed much interest in me.”

“No, um, I just don’t have a lot of experience. Oh god that sounds pitiful, what I mean is I’ve only dated like two guys and I don’t know what I’m doing.” Peter rambled nervously.

“It’s okay. This is our first date, I’m not looking for a one night stand.”

“First date?”

“Yeah, I would like to have more if you’d like.”

“Um, yeah. You seem really cool and financially stable.”

“So you only want my money?” Wade chuckled dryly.

“No, the last guy I talked to wanted me to pay for everything and never once offered to pay, he was a bum. I find it attractive when someone has their own money.”

“Well I have plenty, I don’t mind paying for everything.” He slaps two, one hundred dollar bills down on the table. “If you’re done eating let’s go for a ride.”

“Okay.”
The waitress stops them before they leave, “is everything okay?”

“Yes, we finished the meal, it was lovely. Money is on the table, keep the change doll face.” Wade smiles devilishly, hinting something to her that only she would understand.

It was peters first time in a corvette, or any car this expensive.
“Wow, this is amazing.”

“I got it used, it kinda fell into my possession. No need for details, let’s ride.” Once the seatbelts were on, they were speeding off.
Peter could feel the purring vibration from the engine, it was like adrenaline in his veins.
“Having fun?” Wade asked.

“Yeah, this is so cool.”

“I’m glad you’re enjoying yourself.” Wade takes a glance at peter, his smile was lighting his face so cutely, wade couldn’t help but stare.
“Wade, look out.”
He looks at the road and hits the brakes hard, just before he hit a car that stopped for the red light.
“Holy shit, that was close.”

“You need to pay attention to the road, what were you looking at?”

“You. I couldn’t help but stare at such a cute person.”
Peter blushed brightly and looks out the window, wade laughs softly and started driving once the light turned green.
They stop on the side of the road, in front of an apartment building.
“Where are we?”

“My place. Wanna come in?”

“I don’t know, I think we should end the night here.”

“You’re so cute when you’re shy.”

“Um, I should get going. I had a nice time, I’ll see you later.” Peter was fiddling with the door handle trying to get out.
“Do you need help? And does see you later, mean that I can take you on another date?” Wade reached over and opens the door, Peter turns to look at him and his face was inches from his own.
“Um, yes. Bye.” He quickly gets out closed the door.

“I’ll see you later then, petey.” Wade winks as he walks around the car, heading towards the building.
Peter shyly walks down the street, internalizing what just happened.
Then his phone went off, it was a text from wade, ‘I’m glad I texted the “wrong number” can’t wait to see you again.’

“Ugh, he’s gonna make my heart beat out of my chest.” He holds his chest. After a moment he texted back, ‘I can’t wait either.’

Some fluff.
