Taehyung’s PoV
Yoongi and I were still sitting on his sofa quietly, staring at the dead air and still getting used to each other’s presence. I don’t know but I felt home, this house, Yoongi and Grandma Min, they all felt home. My heart aches but my brain can’t comprehend, my brain doesn’t understand anything.
I looked at Yoongi when he cleared his throat “yes?”, I automatically asked him and he stared back at me full of confusion.
“Sorry, I thought you were going to say something”, I scratched my name.
He nodded and we went back to silence.
Because of the silence I can’t help but to think about our future. Will our home be like this? Silent, chill but homey. Will he learn to love me back? I want to have dogs, is it okay for him?
I also want children, maybe, 5 or 6. I’ll name the dogs holly and Yeontan. And about children, 3 girls and 3 boys or 2. I’ll name them, Yoonji, Yoonseok, Taehee, Suga, Vantae, Agust-
“Tiger”, I went back to reality when I heard Yoongi called me. I don’t know but my heart felt familiar with that nickname and every time that name slips to his mouth I can hear the longing in his voice.
“Tiger”, he called me once again and that voice again, still monotone and full of longing.
“Yes?”
“I called you so many times already. Grandma Min is calling us”, Yoongi stood up and pulled me by my hand and we both walked to the kitchen. As soon as he opened the door the delicious aroma greeted us and my heart ached again. What the hell is happening in my heart? Am I having a heart disease? I can’t! This can’t be happening.
“You keep spacing out, tiger”, Yoongi said softly.
“Oh~ you called him tiger?”, Grandma Min teases Yoongi while wiggling her eyebrows.
“I always have”, Yoongi replied but I didn’t understand it since it was not that audible.
“Hmm?”
“Nothing”, Yoongi answered.
Grandma Min pulled something out from the oven that literally made my mouth waters. It’s my favorite-
“Strawberry pie”, Grandma Min said at the same time that made us both chuckle.
“Finished it okay? No one will leave the kitchen if my strawberry is not finished”, Grandma Min put two plates and forks on the kitchen counter. Yoongi and I sat on the chair as we waited for Grandma Min to give us a piece.
“It smells delish Grandma Min!”, I stated.
“I know and the taste will blow you up”, Grandma Min made a bomb noise and I chuckled at her silliness.
I lifted my fork and tasted it. The taste is mind blowing, the recipe seems unique and incomparable. It’s foreign for me but it tastes so familiar, it tastes like home. Soon Yoongi and I will be married, we will be full of sugar of love and we will deal with the sourness to be balance and there will be the fluffiness on top just like the whipped cream on the pie. Soon Yoongi and I will be our home, my home.Â
