People had sex all day, everyday, all across the world. But it seemed as though things weren’t so easy for Stiles. See the 26 year old virgin was ready to loose that title but every time he tried he was interrupted by something or someone…every time. Either Derek was exhausted from work and then Stiles felt bad, or he himself was tired and would fall asleep before Derek was even out of the shower. On the rare occasion they were both wide awake their friends would just so happen to drop by, wanting to play and drink until two in the morning.

Needless to say it all was just one big mood killer.

Stiles was in his newly remodeled kitchen beating angrily at an innocent piece of dough, if he didn’t know pent up sexual tension before he did now “What’s your problem?” Isaac shouted over the pounding.

Rather than beat around the bush Stiles let it all boil over, throwing the the dough down with a thud “I have been trying have sex with Derek for the first time this entire week and this just so happens to be the time everyone needs something”

“Wait. Wait you two still haven’t… Its been like a year”

“No shit. You seen how long it took me to just talk to him. I’m ready to…do the deed now, and you people can’t seem to stay away”

“Dude, it’s so easy to have sex you just do it”

“Aw jee really? Thanks the for the tutorial”

“I’m serious. He’s coming by for lunch today right? Take him into your new office and ya know–thank him” he said bouncing his eye brows up and down for good measure. Stiles didn’t stick around to to hear the rest of Isaac’s ‘encouragement’ instead he threw in some ear buds and put himself to work.

When he looked up again it was well past one. The time had gotten away from him just as he planned but all it meant was that Derek was already swinging through the bakery door with a smile and their lunch.

“Byyyyeee Derek” Isaac sang as he bound past him on his way out of the building. Stiles could only shake his head in annoyance, and tried not to pay too much attention to the confused look on Derek’s face when he finally made it to the back office.

“Hi honey”

“Hey babe–what’s up with Isaac?”

He brushed it off as soon as it was asked “Don’t even go there. What did you bring us today?” Stiles tuned out as Derek pulled the food from it’s containers. His sex haze mind drifted instantly to his boyfriends snug sweater. He loved the man in his street clothes don’t get him wrong, but on his days when he’d dress in his suits Stiles often pictured himself taking it off him. Somewhere deep inside him he wanted to listen to Isaac, but he felt like that would get him in trouble.

“Sti?”

“Huh?!”

“Are you okay? You literally just zoned out I-“

Their conversation was cut short as the bell to the front door sounded off and Isaac’s voice was coming from the other side of the office door “Sorry, keep on with the foreplay! Just forgot to pull these cup cakes out for tomorrow ” you heard the squeak of the new oven open and shutting, then the exit door being slammed closed.

“Wha was that all about?” Derek laughed.

“Nothing”

“Are you sure? Because it sure sounded like something” Stiles had stopped making eye contact and danced his fingers across the calendar on his desk “Baabe” he sung accusingly. Stiles’ poker face, for lack of a better word sucked. It was translucent when it came to Derek but the man had been known for trying anyways.

Just not this time.

This time he just came out with it “I. Want…To have sex. Preferably…with you. In case that wasn’t clear” Derek stumbled, momentarily losing his balance and maybe his grip on reality. Stiles, impatient as ever, growled and stomped around the desk ready to show Derek out. He didn’t want to see him until he got home and even then he was debating on just hiding out in the bathroom. He hated that he was so easily embarrassed about these things “See! This is why I didn’t want to tell-“

Somehow regaining his motor skills Derek closed the door before his boyfriend could reach it and wedged himself further into the office “No, no, no, no I just- uh- wow. I just want to wrap my head around-wow really?. Y-Yeah okay we can-“

“Nope. Nah uh no”

“What!”

“You made it weird this is exactly what I didn’t want to happen. So thanks babe…You made it weird” he wined, as a smirking Derek was kick out of the building.

For an hour or two Stiles took his time getting home. He figured he just needed some air. Isaac could close the shop. Maybe he was being dramatic maybe he wasn’t. The thing is, Stiles knew what this all meant, he had more than enough time to sit around and really consider it. Aside from admitting his feelings and actually letting himself have a real chance with Derek, this was the most vulnerable thing he could do. Giving himself over to someone for the first time–no one could ever get that again.

Derek’s car, to no surprise, was in the driveway when he got home that night. And a few of the lights were on. His legs burned, he had managed to sweat through his t-shirt and flannel. In the end he’d come to the conclusion he was being a big baby, but that didn’t mean he was ready to deal with it all. It was his hope that he’d walk in, shower, and go to bed with as little pain as possible. Unfortunately the universe once again had already planned on him being an adult.

When he stepped through the front door Stiles quickly came to the realization that the light coming through the windows was not a lamp but a few candles placed strategically throughout the house. Everywhere was spotless, Stiles assumed Derek straightened up in his effort to stay awake and wait for his boyfriend. Stiles though, quickly came to find Derek had lost the war with sleep as he came face to face with the snoring man. He was stretched out on the floor, his neck craned in an uncomfortable position as he laid against the edge of the couch cushion. All he could do was pout as he admired how cute Derek looked while he slept.

“Der? Honey” Stiles tried to whisper gently as he kicked off his shoes and slid on to the floor beside him. Slowly and almost carefully Stiles ran his gentle fingers through jet black hair “Why do you put up with me?” he whispered, letting his ministrations run wild against his boyfriends scalp “Mr. Haale. I’m gonna give you a wet willy” Stiles sung as his fingers crept lower.

“You better not” finally his raspy voice was sounded off making Stiles jump a bit. Derek stretched, coupling the action with a hearty yawn “Hi” he grinned, looking at Stiles almost dreamily “When did you get home?”

“Just now. Why are you on the floor?” Stiles knew good and well, but he tried his luck anyways.

“Waiting for you. You were kind of embarrassed when I left earlier” The boy only offered a nonchalant shrug, when in fact he was nervous as hell “So–sex”

“Derek-“

“What? You opened the door”

“Yeah and you made it weird with all your stammering and what not”

“It caught me by surprise is all. I didn’t think you’d ever bring it up, at least not this soon”

“Soon? It’s been a year” he scoffed, echoing Isaac.

“It took you months to speak to me” Stiles only rolled his eyes, refusing to comment on that. Derek sat up straighter sliding in closer. He tried wiping the sleep from his face as he gazed deeply at Stiles “Look, I mean I’ve wanted to…for a long, long while. I can barely control myself around you sometimes, but I didn’t want to push. I know I was a little…taken back earlier but-ya know I do…want to…. Preferably…with you” Derek smiled. And Stiles laughed back, throwing his head onto the edge of the couch, he was truly ridiculous. But Derek loved him.

Derek motioned him over with his head slightly. Stiles didn’t think he meant right then and there but he honestly wasn’t opposed to it. He climbed his nimble body into his boyfriends thick lap already feeling Derek through his pants. He had the urge to grind down but he knew it would be best to pace himself. So he started out with a kiss, he could do that.

But luck again was not on his side and the doorbell was sounding throughout the home causing the two men to separate, Stiles throwing his head up towards the ceiling “Why do you hate me?”

Derek laughed, offering Stiles’ ass a playful slap “Hey, just get rid of them and meet me in the bedroom” He winked, sliding from under Stiles and stripping himself free of his shirt as incentive to move faster.

Stiles was giddy to get rid of whoever as behind the door until it swung open. There, Noah Stilinski stood, a grin from ear to ear and a six pack under his arm “Hi dad”

“Son” he stared at his father, eyes wide and his heart sinking. He couldn’t disregard the man, especially not for sex. He’d feel like shit “Why are you looking at me like that? It’s baseball night”

“Yeah, dad of course get in here” he slammed the door shut following behind his parent.

“Babe! C’mon who-Mr. Stilinski” Derek shouted, running down the hall only to slide to a halt once he seen present company.

“Kid, if I’ve gotta tell you to call me Noah again there will be consequences” he shook his head with a deep laugh “Alright, go throw on a shirt the game is starting”

Cracking open a beer, Stiles and Derek watched the man march over to plop himself down on the sofa. Stiles, trying to understand his luck, or rather unluckiness stared off in disbelief. Derek simply leaned over and whispered “We need a vacation” before heading to find his shirt again.
