Happiness.
“Were…wait we’re having, you’re having my baby?” Villa couldn’t believe it, he hadn’t expected that on the day he visited Mier he would find out he’s pregnant, he didn’t expect a lot of things, the morning was still early as the dew drops were falling outside, he and Mier were snuggled in bed as the witch finally told him about their child, Villa had not noticed the night before because the vampire was tired but now the prominent baby bump on Mier couldn’t be mistaken for anything.
“I love you.” Villa spoke the words he had never told anyone, never told even himself, he loved the witch, not because he had given him a child but because only Mier loved him back, only Mier held his hand and came to his aid when he needed it. “I love you too.” Mier replied wiping tears away. “I’m going to be a Papa, and I’m going to teach him how to hunt and you’re going to teach him magic and how to love, thank you!” Villa expressed his happiness crushing his beloved in a hug.
In that hug tears fell from his eyes, this was the best thing he had ever been given his whole life, a child of his own, one that would be his and his mates. “Thank you, my love.” Villa added as he finally kissed the witch, Mier didn’t see the reason to hold back, he had finally gotten what he needed, he finally found someone who loved him for him, he wasn’t a king, he was a man with nothing to his name and he was okay with that, all he wanted was him.
So when he kissed back he allowed the bonding process to be completed, no one not even the demon king who had claimed him could change this. Villa took in a huge breathe as power and all that the witch felt filled him. “What did you do?” The vampire asked his witch.
“On the day of the ceremony, I was supposed to be bound to Alquin, the sacred thread made sure of it, but I siphoned its magic before that happened, I took the demon magic Alquin granted me as per claim and used the magic that was to bind us, to break the claim.” The witch explained. “So instead of it being a binding process you reversed the ritual to be a granting ritual, you got access to demon magic but Alquin got zero.” Villa further explained with a smile.
“Yes, but I couldn’t hold the power to myself, mating is a two way street, so when you claimed me and marked me.” The witch lowered the silk sheet showing the vibrant red vine appearing on his body along with the demon marks. “You feel what I feel, along with any power you’re granted by the mating.” He explained shocking the vampire.
“I’m glad you’re mine only, I could never share you, not in this life or any other.” Villa confessed as he came up on top of the witch kissing him. “I wanna make you full.” He whispered grinding his hard member at Mier’s leaking entrance.

“Where are you, Mier.” Saytor mumbled looking at his remaining opponent, it was the large beast like creature, all night he had spent fighting the creatures, he himself was a picture of a mad butcher. “8th Circle: Regeneration.” He mumbled as his body began to heal until every part of him was completely healed with no marks insight.
A scythe appeared in his hand and he spun it as he waited for his last opponent to attack. “Dark Fury.” A dark haze was shot at Saytor, he dodged the attack but when it hit the trees behind him they exploded. “3rd Circle: Shadow Hail.” The acidic hail came from above and burnt the creature, it screamed out but didn’t stay down for long.
“Lava vortex.” The beast cast and behind Saytor a vortex of molten rock erupted and spilled near him, he vanished and appeared above the creature releasing streams of blue lightning. “6th Circle: Frozen Hold.” The creature was held in place as a dark fog seeped from its feet with a swift strike the scythe landed several attacks on Saytor’s opponent.
“4th Circle: Devils Vortex.” The crimson chaotic energy burst from the demon and exploded on contact with the creature. As it lay on the ground battered and bruised Saytor dropped to one knee, only Mier could have a summoning harder to kill, all night he had been fighting the beasts and each one had brought him to his knees.
When he looked to his opponent it could barely stand but with weapons in its hands, in a flash he raised his scythe and spun it, he blocked the head-on attack but failed to notice the blade that pierced his left shoulder from above. “Fuck!” He screamed pulling out the blade. The wound was slowly healing, his opponent lunged for him with a beastly ferocity.
Saytor blocked one blade and spun around to block another while slashing the beasts back, the two rolled away from each other, when they stood they both sent out lightning, Saytor was thrown away and hit a tree which broke in half. The demon knew his opponent was strong he had to find an opening, so his wings sprouted from his back and he flew upward. “4th Circle: Replicas.” In that instant multiple versions of Saytor appeared.
They all attacked at the same time with their scythe, his opponent was weakened sufficiently but they would drop after a few strong blows, one of the blades was thrown directly at Saytor’s head, he caught the blade and it exploded when he did so, throwing him away. The replicas began to fight each one was dropping to the ground each minute.
The demon picked up his scythe and threw it at his opponent, the beast dodged and Saytor moved faster than before, the demon kicked the beasts head crashing it onto the hard ground. He used magic to command his scythe back to him, when he did so he plunged it into his opponent. He applied more pressure until he noticed an attack above him.
Pale grey lightning hailed from the sky, Saytor tried to cover himself but it was too late when the attack finally stopped his wings were scorched again and his body was exhausted. “You win Mier.” The demon coughed out blood, as the cottage finally came into view, his scythe vanished and he staggered to the place, the barrier around the house allowed him to enter, he was too weak to go any further so he fell on the grassy patch, he looked up to the sky, it was a little past the high noon as his eyes closed.

Lake was playing outside with Ajax when he noticed Saytor on the grassy front of their home. “Saytor!” The boy yelled as he rushed to the demon. Ajax checked the man and indeed he was still alive but barely. “Mier you might want to see this!” Ajax yelled and the witch walked out with a slight limp in his walk.
“I thought he gave up.” The witch mumbled as he waved his hand the demon’s body was raised from the ground and began to follow him inside into one of the spare bedrooms. “Ajax get me badges, a bowl of hot water, and ointment I made for my troublesome son.” The witch ordered and Ajax quickly got to work.
“Sweetheart get me the mortar and pestle, you know which herbs to use when making a healing tonic get to it.” Mier instructed and the curly headed little boy ran to get what he was told to get. “Walk, don’t run!” Mier yelled to which Lake ignored completely. Ajax walked back in with everything.
The fae removed Saytor’s clothes, and Mier got to work cleaning his wounds from his back to his front. “Not to be a pervert, but this is a fine man.” Ajax complimented making the witch chuckle. “If Everin were to hear you say that he would murder him and also he’s the king’s right hand man, but there was and is intimacy between the two.” Mier replied shocking Ajax.
“Wait hold up, seriously? Why is he all the way out here then, could it be that Alquin is losing more than just his rule over all of us and his friends too.” The fae speculated but Mier shrugged. “I can never and will never understand Saytor, I’m an empath but whenever it comes to him, he’s a mystery even to me.” The witch replied as Ajax helped him apply ointment to the demon.
“Dad I’m done.” Lake exclaimed walking to where Mier was and handing him a vile with a blue tonic inside. “I’m impressed, are you sure you’re not a witch.” Ajax teased the boy making him laugh. “No I’m not, my dad is.” He replied in-between his giggling and laughter. Mier helped the demon drink the tonic as his body healed.
“Let’s leave him to rest.” The witch announced as the things they had used vanished from the room when they walked out. “Now I know what happens when your magic doesn’t want people around here.” Ajax expressed making Mier laugh. “Did you tell him?” The fae questioned and Mier nodded. “He was ecstatic and even found a name.” The witch happily replied caressing his stomach which was now showing.
“When is your mate coming to see —.” Mier stopped mid sentence as he felt the presence of Everin outside. The tall fae walked in, he exuded power in each stride he took. “Uncle Everin!” Lake cheered running to the fae. “There’s my favorite little demon.” The fae crouched down as the little demon wrapped his arms around his neck.
“I missed you my little firecracker.” Lake giggled as he was held by Everin. “I missed you too, what did you bring me?” The little curly headed boy asked with excitement as Everin made a cake appear. “Your favorite.” He offered and Mier facepalmed. “It just had to be cake.” The witch sighed.
“Oh don’t be like that Mia, let me spoil him.” The fae whined as he kissed his mate. “My love.” He smiled again as he kissed his mate but kept it minimum in respect of the child he was holding. “How about we go to the kitchen and eat this up.” Ajax offered and the four walked to the kitchen happily.

Saytor found himself in an unknown room, magic filled the air, it smelt wonderful in the house. He took in every detail of where he was and he smiled when he looked at the large photo of Lake by the wall. He knew he was in the home of Ramier Wrath, he moved on the queen size bed to look around.
He stood by the window and looked outside, a field of roses made him gasp, he opened the window and breathed in the scent as he did so he checked his body to see himself completely healed, outside he heard the giggles of a child and looked out to see a fae and Lake playing.
“You’re awake.” Mier exclaimed standing by the door with a hand on his stomach. “Ramier, I’m so sorry and glad I found you.” The demon expressed his relief and Mier smiled. “Thank you Saytor but I can’t help wonder why though.” The witch replied with a smirk. “It’s a long story, but it starts with forgiveness on my behalf.” He explained and Mier sighed.
“Bathroom is the first door, second is the closet, Villa had some clothes you could fit into, shower and come down for dinner.” Mier stated before turning to leave, the witch amazed the demon, he had no reason to be kind to him after standing by and doing nothing when Alquin robbed him of his home and freedom, but he was different, he knew that, and on top of that, he wondered whose child it was growing in his belly.
