Secrets Exposed.

I loved you the moment I met you.
I couldn’t love another as I drowned in the sea of your love.
There has never been a moment where I hesitate to show you:
I’d gladly rip out my heart if you commanded it.
You know what I am.
I am not perfect nor am I pure.
I do not claim to be something I’m not because you loved the beast before you loved me.
Each moment I’m with you even the insignificant of those:
I would gladly be there to enjoy it because you’re there.
I am a vampire of many flaws and mistakes but you could never be one, and as you sleep soundly:
I watch over you and the first of many lives that we will make and cherish.
You’ve yet again given me something to cherish, and I’m forever grateful.

Villa sat by the bed where his mate lay asleep, exhausted from the pains of birth, next to his mate was their little prince, his heir, his baby boy, little Amillio, he could already see that mess of silver hair running free and wild in the forest, a powerful witch and a proud vampire, he had the qualities of both his parents, a symbol of their love, he would cherish him always as he would with those who would be his siblings in the future.

The vampire’s eyes twinkled as he met those of his baby boy, he was a big one, no wonder his father’s belly had swelled bigger than most, he sat there intent on protecting these two precious lives he would forever love. “Awww look Tres, our baby brother.” Meca cooed almost silently walking over to the crib encased with the strongest magic, as for protection and an incubator. “He definitely got dad’s hair no doubt, he’s gonna be one badass witch then.” Tres chuckled holding the baby. “But he’s so big, obviously got papa’s brooding dominant side, I can’t wait to see him grown up, look is that normal.” Meca exclaimed as a full black moon was traced onto the baby’s little chest, barely peeking through the baby blanket.

Villa knew the reason for her surprise but he wasn’t alarmed as Tres gently placed little Amillio back in his crib. “It’s only natural he received the goddess’s blessing, papa is the vampire king so he would be his heir.” Lore one of the silent shadow children replied cooing over the baby, Villa was amused by it all, he knew they loved their new sibling as did Lake who was even happier to be a big brother, though Ajax soon would be birthing  as well.

“Sorry pops these idiots got sidetracked by the bundle of cuteness over there.” Lore apologized but Tres smacked his head. “What was that for, you did get distracted.” He argued and Meca hit him as well and that was Villa’s final straw. “Boys, and girl.” He sternly warned and they all stood straight as planks in fear of Villa’s fury. “Come on.” He waved them out and the seven all shuffled out of the room. “Lore, Meca, Tres, stay right here, boys you can go home and rest.” He instructed and a black portal opened, the four siblings all cooed the baby before running into the portal to escape their  papa’s wrath.

“Now report.” Villa ordered Lore, who walked upfront. “Lampard has now ascended to his throne, we’ve successfully killed any of the remaining family to Jon the Lycan prince, I’m sure he’s unaware, the borders to the Lycan kingdom have been locked, no unauthorized entry is permitted, any demons found were completely neutralized.” Lore replied and Villa nodded proudly. “Good, but did you make sure to point out to the new lycanthrope king that he is either with us, or he stays away from the war completely.” The vampire directed his question to Tres who was not paying attention to him at all.

“Uh what…yes we did pops.” He stuttered earning snickers from his siblings, he glared at both Meca and Lore before turning to the eyes of Villa, the vampire king just sighed. “Fine, and what did he say?” He questioned Tres yet again. “Oh he agreed to stay out of it but if the situation arises, he will be there to support those who gave him his rightful place among the Lycans.” Tres replied with a wicked grin remembering how not so nicely he asked Lampard to do what he was asked.

“Great then, Lore you’re on babysitting duty, I have a feeling that even though no one knows your brother exists, someone will try get to him, plus there is a war brewing that’s why Everin isn’t here, so protect your brother, all of you.” Villa ordered but the shadow kin had fallen in love with their baby brother Amillio and would gladly die defending him. “You start tomorrow, get some rest.” This was the final order as a portal appeared next to Tres, the three walked in and vanished, Villa made his way back into his bedroom, his child and mate were fast asleep, so he himself decided to sleep as well knowing tomorrow was a new day.

“Sir, there seems to be some kind of communication between the beasts.” A fae soldier reported to Everin, the fae king snorted as he looked beyond the barrier that encased all that was the fae kingdom in its vast glory, the hounds, berserkers, and razzarks snarled and hissed waiting to be unleashed toward the fae king and his men. Everin had no interest in taking part in the insulting battle, he wanted the demon king himself to battle, not hell creatures that did his bidding.

“Tell the man to prepare the finest of our alcohol, I won’t be long.” He ordered as his second in command facepalmed. The guard scurried away, Everin’s second in command a fae with sparkling blue hair and the warmest face you’ll ever find among the fae stood with a smile. “You’re going to obliterate the enemy on your own, I’m not going to let you have all the fun.” He stated factly making Everin laugh heartily.

“If you say so Cedar, I must hurry though, Mier gave birth last night, after it was done I came here and never got to spend time with my nephew, so don’t hold back.” He exclaimed and his second in command lit up even more, happily he thought of his own children, and how his king would have his own soon. “I must not keep you waiting, the wrath witch means a great deal to me as well.” The fae responded as power bubbled up within him.

Everin knew he had to show Alquin that he wasn’t weak, he had taken his family’s home with bloodshed and war, he was not to be taken lightly. On the other hand, he feared the wrath of the witch who had just given birth, he hadn’t stayed for more than an hour to see if he was fine and see to it that he was well, although his mate and the witch’s mate had been there it was in his nature to worry about people who were his family, and also he was the one who had performed the surgery on Mier, he would definitely have words for him.

“Leave or die!” His second in command yelled to the beasts but all they did in return was hiss and growl at the two fae men. “I guess it can’t be helped.” Everin mumbled clasping his open palms together. “Dark Script: Far Rite: Darkened veil.” He whispered to the trees, to the breeze that carried his power, from nowhere transparent domes appeared in different places all over the demonic army, Everin grinned as he spoke his next words. “Tempest’s Hail.” The domes one by one exploded, each vaporizing anything that had been captured inside, these explosions left tremors and the smell of burning flesh wafting into the air, each explosion louder and stronger than the last killed half the demonic army.

“My turn.” His second happily announced as Everin chuckled at his eagerness, even when murdering, he would always smile, it would seem even if you were meeting death by his hand the last thing you would feel was anger. “Heavenly Script: Fae Rite: Holy Wrath.” He cast his spell and from the sky beams of pure light hit the ground, it wasn’t fire that burned and killed, the heavenly light vaporized anything it touched in an instant, it was a weapon that couldn’t be avoided, there was no battle cry or metal clanking together, just the death of an army by two competing fae.

“So beautiful.” Everin mumbled looking at the beams of light that were starting to wear off. “Let’s face it, my attack was perfect there.” His second in command commented and Everin agreed, he had made a better attack. “We are even now, though I don’t think my husband would approve of you using forbidden Script.” Everin teased but his second rolled his eyes at the statement.

“The fae matriarch taught us himself of the forbidden arts, to protect ourselves and better our odds in war, I’m sure you wouldn’t argue with him on that, it would agitate him and I know from past experience to never argue with a pregnant man, in your case both your hands would become your best friends.” His second in command Cedar retorted making Everin conceded, the man was right on both accounts.

“I hate you.” Everin grumbled as he waved his hand and vines appeared from the ground killing the rest of the demonic beast army, what was left of it anyway. “You wish you could hate me, old friend.” Cedar taunted with a chuckle as they turned back to meet astonished fae soldiers. “You did that, just..the two of you.” The soldier who had reported to Everin mumbled and the men along with women around him all broke out into fits of laughter.  “Come on boy, let us drink!” Everin yelled to his small army and they all followed his lead drowning in celebratory alcohol.

As they drank and celebrated a projection of Villa appeared between the drunken soldiers. “And you’re to be an uncle to two children plus a father to your own, come home before my mate decides to come here and make you a cockless drunkard.” Villa warned and immediately Everin recovered from his drunken stupor. “Well men, duty calls, drink and celebrate!” The king yelled as his wings flared a bright blue and vanished along with the projection of Villa.

“Something is going on between those two.” Jon mumbled next to Tristan, Marcos and Saytor were in the garden, their touches not fleeting and their affection unwavering, though no one could see them except Jon and Tristan, the Lycan had scented the heavy yet amazing scent of Saytor mixed in with Marcos’s that it was almost difficult to tell the two apart, so he had followed them and his suspicion had not been in vain.

Marcos stood on his toes slightly and pressed a kiss to Saytor’s lips, they lingered more as Saytor groaned with heat that was welling up within him. “How is our baby?” He asked when they separated, Marcos caressed his now slightly large belly. “He’s happy, strong, and oh kicking.” He exclaimed happily as the man he loved laid a hand on his stomach to feel his child kick. “Don’t be so troublesome for you father now.” Saytor mumbled crouching down to place a kiss on Marcos’s stomach.

All the while the fae and lycan had their jaws dropped, Saytor had slept with Marcos, to Alquin this was betrayal, treason even, but he would need to know first for him to take action, but Jon had other plans before inevitably telling Alquin. He hurriedly moved to the place Marcos and Alquin were only to find nothing,  how they have vanished he didn’t know. “Don’t do anything.” Tristan warned Jon but the Lycan wanted the king to want him again. “I’m not going to do anything besides tell Alquin that his previous matriarch fucked the general of his armies.” Jon’s response made Tristan groan.

“Last time you meddled in his life he lost Malia, a potential enemy now, this is a secret you have no right to speak of because it’s none of your business, schemes in this castle tend to backfire ever since the Wrath witch came, so don’t do anything stupid.” Tristan begged but it was to no avail, Jon acted convinced but he wasn’t going to let the opportunity of a reward from Alquin pass by.

He immediately moved to the garden’s entry, by the archway a knife made it to his throat, it drew blood that the Lycan flinched as he saw it. “What are you, why are you—?” He questioned but the person never spoke until the shadows moved to cover them. “Blades were imbedded in Jon’s lower back earning a cry from the lycan. “So stupid, weak, and pathetic no wonder your family is dead.” The voice was malicious, evil, and broken, it made Jon’s fear escalate. “My what, what are you talking abo—.” He growled but it earned him a harsh kick to his ribs.

“You won’t tell Alquin what you saw, got it, and you get to see another day, maybe even more time to fuck the king as you desperately want.” The voice ordered but Jon didn’t miss the pity in it. “Am I clear?” The voice questioned with a harsh tug to his hair. “Yes, yes we’re clear.” He replied instantly and everything returned to normal and Jon found himself by the archway not covered by darkness, the blades were still in his back though. “He’ll protect me, I will tell him.” Jon mumbled to himself and ran to the lounge room.

“Ah, just on time.” Ramar announced sitting next to Alquin where they had wine and cheese at a small table near them. “I believe you have a bit of news for the king about his matriarch.” The witch exclaimed with excitement dancing in his eyes.
