Fear the Fury of the Witch of Redemption.
“We are gathered here to go forth with the trial of Saytor Creul, for his crimes against the throne and the kingdom as a whole, we are to judge fairly, with utmost respect and calm peace of mind, with a sense of justice that we—.” The elder was stopped by a gust of wind. “Stop stalling and begin already, you’re all lucky that I didn’t kill you already.” The demon king let out a non humorous laughter, all the other elders stood at a distance knowing they could easily die.
“Your majesty I believe you’re biased to this case, you shouldn’t stand here as a judge or jury, your involvement in it will only result in one thing that we’re trying to avoid.” The last of the elders spoke again fiercely, she knew if Alquin were to stay for the trial the poor man would die, all because a tyrant wants it that way. Everyone didn’t see him move, none of them saw it happen, the elder who had spoken had a blade protruding from her back to her chest. “I’ve wanted to kill you in long while.” Alquin whispered to the dying demon.
“No!” The four other elders screamed and ran for the door, they could try to fight but Alquin was more powerful than any of them. The demon king raised his hand and the double doors closed firmly, the four banged on it using magic, trying to get it open but it wouldn’t work. “Join your ancestors.” Alquin mumbled as he cut down the first elder in the room, his metal tasted the blood of the last remaining elders. He was a cruel monster and the only other person left alive in the room knew that.
“You stand trial alone, you took my Marcos and fucked him, conceived a brat even, then you went further, planning and plotting against me with him along with my enemies, your father would be so disappointed with how you’ve turned out old friend, I’m sure you can feel your own disappointment.” Alquin spoke as he circled a kneeling Saytor, they locked gazes and to Alquin’s surprise, his ex lover wasn’t broken like he wanted but he would break him none the less.
The demon king swung his blade to kill his general, Saytor moved with speed and grace, using the blade’s momentum he broke the binding chain holding back his power and mana intake, the moment the chains shattered he spun back several times to avoid another attack from Alquin. “I have a child to live for now, I’m not meeting death today.” The general announced as his eyes turned completely black and a pair of wings fluttered behind him, he was going to fight to survive and give it all he’s got.
Alquin knew fighting Saytor was as dangerous as fighting Mier or the witch king, they could all see his moves, they could all move with grace and agility like he had. “I’m sure you believe you stand a chance against me.” The demon king chuckled as he too took a form much like his general. “Let’s finish this old friend.” The demon announced and so they lunged for each other, Saytor had no weapon which perplexed Alquin until a palm connected with his right shoulder and threw him back to the wall.
“7th Circle: Trigrams of Old.” Saytor mumbled as he lunged for Alquin with only those palms, they glowed an eerie crimson, the king dodged the attacks, but Saytor was only getting stronger with each blow, Alquin swung his blade again grazing Saytor’s cheek, the demon vanished and appeared behind his back, Saytor delivered several blows to the king’s back which made him stumble coughing out blood. “Demonic Pulse.” He shot out and Alquin was thrown to another destroyed wall and out to the garden.
“Saytor you surprise me, but not that much, 7th Circle: Lucifer’s Hold, 6th Circle: Reign of lightning.” Chains constricted Saytor, they burned his body and wings making him scream in pain, lightning rained down on him and around him destroying the castle and the demon it was meant for. “Hear him scream Marcos!” Alquin yelled as Saytor was being tormented by the lightning.
The general used all his strength to lift his palm to the sky, as he did so he willed his mana to shift the lightning, this was witch magic but he had done a lot of it before. As his palm was to be hit by lightning, snowflakes began to fall instead. “8th Circle: Unbind. 6th Circle: Demonic Hail.” The general broke free of the binding chains easily, from above spiked hail rained down, the king was having trouble dodging it as his shield cracked, with time he had managed to get, Saytor healed himself and his wings, he had fought harder before, this was no different.
“1st Circle: Orca, 4th Circle Dark Demise, 6th Circle: Tempest.” The circles merged above Alquin but he couldn’t see it, only the caster Saytor and those not part of the battle could see it, when the hail stopped the demon king was soaked in blood healing from the cuts, he hadn’t had time to attack. “Release.” As Saytor released yet another powerful attack, water serpents came from the circle, their dark bodies filled with waves of demonic magic, as the orca built the serpents attacked Alquin, tearing his wings and body apart.
The demon king had enough of the attacks, clasped his palms together as his demon marks glowed in the water he was trapped in, but that was his mistake, creating a bomb activated the tempest Saytor had set and it detonated. Alquin screamed as the cataclysmic events took place, he had never felt raw power explode from and around him, the bomb destroyed half the castle and also caused upheaval, lava spewed from the ground as did raging typhoons. Alquin staggered to his feet unbelieving of Saytor’s capabilities who seemed perfectly fine.
“I underestimated you, but no more, 8th Circle: Regeneration, 4th Circle: Devil’s Muse.” The demon king’s wings healed instantly and so his body as well, his demon marks glowed red and so did his eyes. Saytor blocked a kick to his mid thigh, he grunted when he had to block another fist in front of him. He spun back to avoid the offensive stance the king had taken, now no one could see them move, it was only what remained of their fists colliding like boom sounds reverberating.
“How?” Alquin growled frustrated by how he couldn’t land a blow on Saytor, that slight moment of none concentration was taken advantage of, Saytor roundhouse kicked him sent him to the ground, he released several sphere bombs along with the falling king, they blew up on impact but it drove Alquin mad, he appeared behind Saytor and plunged his blade into him, turning around in mid air he began delivering blow after blow to the demon general, Saytor couldn’t do anything paralyzed by the blade.
With a final kick to his stomach, Saytor fell like a meteor to the ground. “Hells Rage.” Alquin growled as a sphere of crimson formed above him, he sent the massive bomb hurtling toward Saytor, on impact, it was supposed to blow up but it didn’t instead it vanished. “Shadow Manipulation: Void of Conquest.” Saytor mumbled staggering to his feet. “That power is mine.” Alquin whispered to himself hovering in the air, his wings barely making an effort to keep him up there.
“8th Circle: Wood Golem Regeneration.” Saytor cast and a wood golem with the same essence of him broke apart from his body, the blade from Alquin was no longer in him but the golem that fell to the ground. “I told you, I’m not going to die today.” Saytor exclaimed as his body healed and a wave of power began to swirl inside him, there was more to his general than he ever expected. “He’s a child of the goddess!” Tristan yelled from above, his wings fluttering in the dusty air. “What are you talking about, he has no royal blood.” Alquin defended as he looked at Saytor.
His demon general was a low life, there was nothing in him but pure determination to get stronger, that’s how he got stronger not because he was a royal. “Creul in the old days was the other royal house besides the BloodShade, the two were joined until—.” Realization set on Alquin before Tristan could finish, right there just above the sinful Vline, Saytor had a perfect black moon, a child of the goddess, the mark of a royal. Before he could speak the demon general had already lunged for him in sonic speed, a shield appeared and blocked the attack and Saytor flew back.
“You lied to me!” Alquin screamed as he shot beams of red energy toward Saytor, the general retaliated with his own and on impact, the two powers burst. “Why did you lie?” Alquin demanded as he dodged a kick from Saytor, their battle was now turning both of them were now fighting to their true extent. “Lucifer’s Hands.” Alquin cast and from the ground two large black hands crushed Saytor between them, Alquin used this as his chance to kill an heir to the throne much like he was, Saytor was more so suitable for the throne like himself and he would kill him.
Gravity rained down from above, it shattered everything, the black hands holding Saytor crumbled and he was sent hurtling to the ground, the two demons struggled to get free but it was impossible, the gravity wasn’t just holding them down, their powers weren’t working anymore. Ramar appeared outside and when he did he fell next to Alquin. “Lake.” Tristan was the one who saw him first and was enchanted by the next king.
Hair black as ink, fluttered around him as waves of power were released from him, his wings large and beautiful with green swirling marks on them, even for a boy they could feel his command, his power, and his authority. After Tristan had spoken the three men looked up and gasped as well, Alquin was baffled by the transformation, he was like a god. “Ramier.” Ramar mumbled feeling his son’s magic permeate the air, it was a like warm hum on a winter’s night, a cool breeze on a summer day, but it was also twisted like the thorn of a rose striking and drawing blood.
Four gasps were heard as he finally showed himself beside his son, his waist long hair blew freely in the wind, the embodiment of beauty without bar, he was regal, possessed the hearts of men and women alike, just like the boy beside him his beauty could not be matched, the two seemed to hold the world at their feet and none could take it from them. “What a beautiful sight.” Saytor whispered as his body was raised from the ground, he didn’t fight it, he went willingly. “He knows.” Alquin mumbled next to Ramar, Lake’s power still held them down. “With no doubt in mind.” Ramar replied as Saytor flew away through a portal.

“You don’t look so great.” Ajax commented as he appeared in the castle through a shadow portal. “Ajax!” Marcos cheered as he ran to the fae. “Saytor, he’s in trouble, Alquin will kill him.” Marcos sobbed in Ajax’s arms. “Have a little faith in your mate dear friend.” The fae chastised just as Lore and Meca appeared in the room. “Papa told us to hurry while dad stalls outside, Tres already has aunt and uncle, it’s just you two that need to go.” Lore expressed and immediately Ajax turned with him to the portal.
“Wait papa, aunt, and uncle, who are you?” The demon questioned as he and Ajax walked through the portal. “We are the shadow kin, though dad hates the name, we are Ramier and Villa’s children, and we were sent to rescue you once we secured the lycan kingdom, come on.” Lore explained happily as they arrived in the vampire kingdom. “You finally made it.” Malia exclaimed sipping on apple juice whilst laying under a large umbrella with her mate. “Hey baby.” Saytor rumbled and Marcos ran to him in tears. “You’re safe, you’re safe.” He sobbed again whilst in his mate’s arms.
“Come now, I’m fine, it’s a beautiful day out, come let me relieve you and love you.” He comforted as Saytor carried him to two long chairs beside Ajax and Everin who was playing with his nephew.

“I have no words for you, until we meet again, but know this, the witches do know of what you have done father and I’m sure you’ll be hearing from mum as well.” Mier finally spoke knowing the people he wanted safe were away from the demon kingdom. Ramar had no words for his son, he wanted power and nothing mattered, but even with Mier there, he could not speak. “Have your day my traitorous witch, I will get my revenge.” Alquin replied as his son and ex mate vanished.
“Marcos is gone, but I’ve news to tell you, a lot has been happening behind your back.” Jon spoke helping his fae husband up, he had been resurrected by Ramar and the witch wasn’t disappointed. “We must ready for war, this defeat is not going to stop us.” Alquin announced as they walked back to the rubble that was once a castle.
