Nico sobbed. Will sat next to him, an arm around his shoulders. He fought tears himself.
“Will…”
“Yes, darling?”
“Why do you bother with me? I’m not worth it. I’m too…too broken!” Nico said between sobs.
Will turned and faced Nico, his palms pressed to Nico’s cheeks .
“You are not broken. If anything, we are all broken. That’s how the light gets in.” And with that, Will pulled Nico into another hug, and Nico practically collapsed in his arms. He laid there and cried, taking in the warmth and scent of his boyfriend.
