As the night settled under the full moon, Kassandra led the group into Gelle’s territory, where they were met by a vast assembly of supernatural creatures. Gelle, accompanied by the ancient evil witch Ophilia and Alastra her wife, stood waiting. Ophilia’s maniacal laughter echoed through the air.

“Mother,” Alastair greeted Alastra bitterly.

“You won’t be laughing for long,” Kassandra’s voice rang, cutting through the noise and reaching Ophilia’s ears with an eerie clarity. Immediately, both sides scattered, preparing for battle.

Blaze and Marco spread their Phoenix wings, soaring into the sky and circling the moon before diving down at incredible speed. Their swords pierced the ground, sending a wave of fire rippling outward in all directions. Kassandra quickly cast a protective shield, as did Ophilia, but several enemies were consumed by the flames, vanishing in an instant. Blaze and Marco stood back-to-back, effortlessly cutting down their foes with their swords.

Ophilia, seeing her forces faltering, retreated, hiding behind her puppets. Kassandra pursued her relentlessly, obliterating every enemy in her path. Meanwhile, Kai chanted an incantation, summoning a swarm of bees to distract the enemy, followed by two massive serpents that launched themselves at the attackers.

Alastair attempted to psychically link with their enemies, but he failed. Aliyah conjured nightmares to torment their enemies on sight while a group of hybrid creatures charged at them Giuseppe drained the life from one enemy after another, and Rio froze them solid, sending shards of ice through the battlefield. Werewolves shifted into their lycan forms, but Alastair and the others wasted no time, cutting them down with brutal efficiency.

Alastair tried again to connect with their enemies psychically, this time sensing something stronger. “They’re all linked to one person,” he muttered. Just then, a bearded man appeared, and the group felt an overwhelming wave of pain. Giuseppe quickly grabbed the man’s arm, enduring the pain as best he could until the man collapsed unconscious.

A group of witches stepped forward, but Kai reacted swiftly. Feeling the roots of trees and plants beneath the earth, he commanded them to rise and attack. Massive roots erupted from the ground, slithering like serpents, crushing the house and revealing even more supernatural creatures.

Rio, seeing the battle intensify, focused on the atoms around him. With a raise of his hand, he manipulated the atoms of his enemies’ blood, skin, and organs. He crushed their hearts, distorted their bodies, and deprived them of air until they fell unconscious. Grinning, he pushed further, igniting combustion inside his enemies, burning them from within.

Amidst the chaos, rival and allied witches exchanged spells and incantations. Anthony, using his vampire speed, fought with hand-to-hand combat until the witches’ spells forced him to flee in fear.

The battle continued as darkness and fire clashed under the full moon.

The enemies seemed endless, some of them were undead. Suddenly, Aliyah realized one thing.

“We are inside the illusion,” she said.

“𝑳𝒖𝒙𝒖𝒎!” they chanted in unison. Before them, their real enemies appeared, outnumbered, with only the strongest hybrids and tribrids left.

“That’s why learning magic is also important,” Kai muttered, and they all hummed in agreement.

Eddie appeared in front of Gelle, quickly attacking him from every angle. Gelle was thrown up and down, his body crashing against the walls as they crumbled around them.

Five of them faced nine witches, one of whom was a pure vampire capable of creating illusions. Giuseppe charged at them but was swiftly stopped by one of the witches, who inflicted pain and immobilized him. They all yelled as Giuseppe groaned in agony, screaming on the ground. The witch was about to cast a death spell when a flaming arrow pierced her heart, and she burned to ashes. Regaining his control, Giuseppe dashed forward. Anthony cast a shield around him, granting him invisibility from afar. They crossed their arms, watching as Giuseppe cut the heads of their enemies with lethal precision using his claws. The remaining two managed to flee in terror.

Giuseppe then faced a vampire who, recognizing his abilities, stayed away from him. Giuseppe chased him down, but he was caught by oblivion and void. Anthony cast an illuminating at him.

“I got your back, buddy!” Anthony exclaimed. The vampire attempted to escape, but Giuseppe caught him halfway and tore out his heart. Removing the heart wouldn’t suffice, as vampires could regenerate-even their heads but just to stopped them momentarily.

Eddie delivered his final blow, but when he saw Alastra dying, he hesitated. He quickly evaded the strongest royal guards, prompting Gelle to follow him. Gelle shifted into his lycan form, chasing Eddie into the woods.

Kassandra and Ophilia met again after centuries.

They exchanged powerful spells and incantations.

“We meet again, old traitor friend,” Kassandra said, smiling devilishly. They glared at each other, blood streaming from their eyes and noses. “You stole Markus from me!”

“I never stole him from you because he never really love you!” Ophilia yelled.

“How dare you!”

“You killed him!” Ophilia spat bitterly.

“Liar! I didn’t killed him and he never love you, you manipulated him and used him,” Kassandra gritted her teeth. Blaze and Marco landed in front of Kassandra, quickly hiding their Phoenix wings as Ophilia’s eyes widened. Claire was with them, shivering in pain. “You used this innocent girl for your own sake!” Kassandra yelled, and Ophilia screamed as she knelt on the ground, overwhelmed by excruciating pain”

“Ophilia! Where did you hide my family!” Blaze yelled in despair.

“In hell!” Ophilia groaned, trying to break free from Kassandra. Blaze is about to charge at Ophilia but Kassandra stopped him.

Kassandra inflicting an insurmountable amount of pain. “He was gone for good, he never came because he doesn’t belong in your world and neither in my world! ”

Claire felt the pain as well and screamed in agony. “Goodbye,” Kassandra said softly, cutting the white link between Ophilia and Claire forcefully. Ophilia quickly turned to dust. Claire thought they would kill her too. She sobbed and hugged Kassandra.

“Thank you,” Claire said through her tears, and Kassandra caressed her cheeks.

“Darling, I hate crybabies,” Kassandra laughed innocently.

As Alastair watched their enemies slowly fall before them, they encountered the seven strongest tribrids. Alastair stood tall, black orbs of colorful energy crackling in both hands. Their enemies braced themselves for battle. Alastair raised his hands, pointing his palms at the approaching foes.

As their enemies attacked, they were met with an overwhelming surge of energy from Alastair’s hands. They were electrified and momentarily petrified, but their resistance was fascinating. They quickly regained their control and scattered.

Aliyah attempted to use her psychic abilities, but Giuseppe suddenly appeared beside her. He rolled and grunted in frustration as she slapped his arms.

“Why?!” Giuseppe demanded.

“I hate you sometimes,” Aliyah retorted.

Giuseppe jumped far away from Aliyah, charging at one of the enemies, but he was stopped mid-air by a telekinetic force.

“𝑪𝒓𝒖𝒙𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒔 𝑰𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒔!” Anthony shot a curse spell at the telekinetic man, who instantly felt an unbearable amount of pain. Giuseppe fell to the floor.

“They’re not in their right state of mind. Someone is manipulating them. If they were, we would all be dead right now. They’re stronger than us,” Kai said. They scanned the surroundings but found none. Alastair darted his eyes everywhere but found nothing.

“So that’s why they were acting weird,” Anthony said in agreement. Aliyah attempted to use her vision, trying to infiltrate their minds, but she was repelled by a surge of psychic energy and screamed. Rio held her. Giuseppe drained the telekinetic man to the ground till he became unconcious. Aliyah tried to access the unconscious man’s mind and found a little girl hidden behind a wall.

“In the kitchen,” Aliyah said. Alastair quickly pace and found a young girl standing close to the wall. She giggled, and Alastair lifted her up.

“Baby, it’s bad to hurt people and manipulate them,” Alastair said, and the young girl giggled more. He could feel a strong aura emanating from her.

“I found the culprit!” Alastair announced, and they all whined.

The five tribrids left continued to attack, but Anthony obliterated them one by one until he could no longer use magic. Only two remained.

Aliyah shook her head as she looked at Alastair, caressing the young girl’s hair.

“Put that thing down,” Aliyah cautioned.

“Why? She’s adorable,” Alastair insisted. “Right, baby?” The young girl giggled, hugging Alastair. Aliyah shook her head in disbelief. “Baby, why did you do this?” Alastair asked the young girl.

“Dolls! I like dolls,” the young girl replied.

“I can buy you a lot of dolls, just let them go,” Alastair said softly, smiling. The girl giggled and shook her head.

“No, I love a real one,” the young girl insisted. She touched his head, and Alastair suddenly saw her past. His eyes widened. “I didn’t do it, he did.” She replied, chuckling. He gently set her down and said, “Go to Aliyah.” He pointed to her, and the young girl giggled, running toward Aliyah.

Alastair quickly went to the hidden chambers. He saw witches torturing creatures in the prison, and others were chained, some still young. Alastair looked at them with a blank expression. The witches were alarmed, and so were the draconians lurking in the shadows. Alastair’s anger surged as he was petrified by the sight of young supernatural children screaming in agony. His fury awakened, and a strong dark-red aura emanated from his body, changing the color of his eyes. He looked at them, channeling his powerful psychic link to them.

Alastair entered their minds. The witches and draconian creatures slowly turned into dark-red dust and vanished from the physical plane. Alastair freed the kids and all the supernatural beings inside. One by one, Aliyah restored their memories and normal states of mind. They hurriedly escaped the chambers and found their way out. Alastair sat on the floor, unable to believe what he had just witnessed. The gravity of the situation was far worse than what he saw in Aliyah’s vision.

Aliyah tried to access the memory of the young girl standing close to her, but she couldn’t.

“Baby girl, let me access your mind,” Aliyah said softly. The young girl nodded. Aliyah could finally access her mind. She saw a thread of orange psychic links connecting her to someone else as well. Aliyah signaled Giuseppe to come over. Giuseppe hurriedly drained the young girl unconscious and gently placed her on the ground.

“Anthony,” Aliyah looked at him meaningfully. He lay on the floor. Aliyah and Rio ascended to the astral plane.

“Why? I can’t see anything,” Anthony chirped. “I didn’t see anything!” Suddenly, a man appeared before them. The scenery around them became distorted. Thousands of creepy creatures appeared. Aliyah tried to stop it and change the scene into something more beautiful. Alastair and Kai appeared beside her. The man began to run away, teleporting to different places as Anthony chased him.

“He can jump from mind to mind and is everywhere in their minds,” Aliyah said.

“His ability is great, he can link everyone in the physical plane from the astral plane,” Anthony muttered, chasing the young man.

The more Anthony chased the man, the slower he became, and the ground beneath him moved backward. Anthony pushed the ground forward, yelling in excitement, “Wow, I can do this here?!”

“Your theory is wrong. He’s not linking anyone from the astral, he’s just hiding in the astral while linking all of them in the physical plane. ” Rio explained. Alastair caught the man by projecting a large hand from the ground, throwing him in their direction. ” His ability is great but he is inexperience. ” Rio said, grabbing the man’s hands and choking him.

“No, I think he was using imperial mind control,” Kai blurted out.

“What does that mean?” Aliyah asked, her curiosity piqued.

“It’s a rare form of telepathic mind control,” Kai explained. “Unlike regular telepathy, this type of control lasts forever. No one can repel it, and no magical incantation can break it unless he died or got killed. The person with this ability can manipulate their victims’ consciousness and sanity for the rest of their lives-worse than any compulsion. He can jump from one victim to another without even needing a link because he owns them.”

They all stared at him in shock.

“So he owns that young girl too?!” Alastair exclaimed.

“No,” Kai replied, shaking his head. “That young girl linked them together because she has an ability to do so, but she wasn’t ‘imperialed’ by him.”

“Then why did she do it?” Aliyah pressed.

“She was just doing it for fun,” Kai muttered.

“Can we really trap someone in the astral plane?” Anthony asked, his voice echoing around them.

” Let see about that. ” Aliyah said, and projected a chain, and the man’s eyes widened. She chained him and hung him to a big oak tree. The man screamed, begging them to free him, and they all snapped back to reality.
