“Boss, the shipment from east coast had came last night.” Ren said.
“Good. Im going for inspection first before we trade them.”
“Yes Boss.” he replied.
“How about the luxury watch I bought in the auction?”
“You can expected it tomorrow morning Boss.”
“That’s great, I hope Lula will like it.”
“Definitely Boss, but I don’t think he will accept it.”
“What do mean?”
“Boss, from the time we had Mr Kim with us, I noticed he’s not that materialistic person. He enjoying simple things instead. Like ice cream, fast food and I don’t remember he asked something from you.” Ren explain.
“Yeah, that’s true. He always rejecting me when I tried to gifted him.”
“Unlike those who want to have you because of your power and luxurious life.”
“Yes, I was really surprised when I saw him eating with the bodyguard. I was a bit jealous that time. To me he’s too aloof.”
“Maybe because you forcing him to do what you want.”
“But in the end he still do it.” I said proudly.
Suddenly, Ren phone ringing..
“Boss, it’s Lucas.” Ren informed.
“Bring him in speaker.”
“Lucas, what it is?” Ren asked.
“Is the boss with you?”
“Yes. He’s hearing you.”
“Boss, an old man came to Mr Kim office a few minutes ago. He introduced his self as Mr Kim father. But Mr Kim didn’t acknowledged him, instead they argue a little and Mr Kim ordered me to drag the old man out in the company.”
“How’s Lula now?” Duri asked worried.
“He look so down.” Lucas said.
“Okey. Just stay near him don’t let any stranger go near him.” Duri said before the call ended. “Ren call Kaito.”
“Yes Sir.”
A minute after Kaito is on the line.”Kaito, I want a complete footage of the person who visited Lula this morning and I want to know about him.”
“Yes, Boss.”
Duri dialled the phone again.
“Hello.” Lula answered.
“Babe, how are you?”
“CEO, is it just 2 hours since we last see each other.” Lula said. Obviously trying to make his voice joyful.
“I miss you already.”
“Shut up CEO.” he tried to laugh.
“I’m gonna have lunch with you later.”
“I thought you are busy.”
“I’ll make time for you babe. What do want to eat?”
“Comfort food from my favorite food chain.”
“Okey, I make a delivery. Is that all?”
“Avocado Ice Cream.”
“Copy babe. See you later.”
“Okey. See you later sweetheart.” Lula said whispering in the phone.
“What? I didnt hear you.” Duri teased Lula to repeat his endearment. But Lula ended the call instead. “This funk he just hang-up on me.”
“Ren you heard Lula wants right?”
“Yes Boss, I will make the order.”
Lula never tell story about him. Aside for not trusting anyone. He so secretive about his past life. I wondered if he really visited by his father. But whoever that oldman I’ll make sure he will regret for making Lula sad.
