CHAPTER ONE;
i want a love like i’ve seen in the movies
â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”â”
It’s an approximate guess, but you’re pretty damn sure that you’re currently in the midst of dying. Again.
Just your luck, really. Whoever said someone couldn’t die twice a day has probably never met a strange case like yours. Although, hey, you can’t exactly blame them, your life—that is soon to end, please remember that—has been quite the roller coaster, especially today.
Chasing after someone who stole your wallet during work time was already bad. Getting slammed by a fast moving truck with a driver that probably wasn’t looking at the road? Absolutely bad. Horrendously bad. Just. Bad.
Not to mention transmigrating into a new world and immediately arguing with the system while walking around the new area before a speeding car suddenly slams into you again and you being you were going to dodge it but then you realize you’re as smooth as a fat cat who keeps getting stuck on its door flap.
So yeah, you basically flew! And now, well, here you are, lying face up on the dirty ground that’s smeared with your blood.
You can hear the low rumble of tires stopping on the asphalt. A never ending torrent of camera flashes. A loud, wailing siren approaches, ringing inside your ears. Someone must have called an ambulance for you. How nice of them!
You definitely heard screams moments before, but it’s all an awful, terrible blur now.
After presumably dying in your original world, or so the system said—your soul was transmigrated into a different world entirely.
It’s an Omegaverse related one, you’re sure of that, given away by the fact that every person around you now seems to have their own distinct smell. Some as sweet as nectar, some as sharp as hot iron, and some… like nothing at all.
So yeah, Omegaverse.
The system told you the world was supposed to be a familiar one you’ve read before, but alas you’ve read too much, so that really didn’t narrow it down, like at all.
[ SYSTEM ]
But [Name], didn’t you tell me
that you hated Omegaverse???
(☉_☉)
[ NAME ]
…

[ NAME ]

USELESS
[ SYSTEM ]
( ã¤ï¹â•°ï¼‰
Ignoring the useless system, you try your best to calmly breathe… but struggle as your body keeps reminding you of the overwhelming pain. Some of these bones of yours are broken for sure.
How the universe interpreted your I need a break as I want my bones broken for free, you’ll perhaps never know.
Maybe, just maybe, you should have asked for a better system instead. Cause the one you got right now is most probably, definitely, absolutely an idiot.
You want to scream at your misfortune.
Stupid novel! Stupid world! Stupid system!
Stupid!
[ SYSTEM ]
Don’t be so mean [Name]
We’re trying our best to help you!
</3
The system should really reiterate its words because you know full well that what it really means to say is trying our best to kill you.
As more spots of black color your broken vision, you hear multiple pings ringing in your ear.
[ SYSTEM ]
HANG IN THERE [Name]
HELP IS COMING UR WAY
( • ᴖ • 。 )
[ NAME ]
umm actually
i think it’ll be better
if you don’t help
like at all!!!!
[ SYSTEM ]
WAIT
I’ll gather some energy and try something out!!
Just wait, okay?!!
。°(°.◜ᯅâ—°)°。
[ NAME ]
well
i’m clearly
not going anywhere
genius
From the corner of your blurry vision, you see the door of the speeding car that fucking hit you slowly open, and out comes a tall, dark figure. They walk towards you, cautiously.
You squint, but still remain unable to see them clearly amidst your darkening vision. One thing’s for sure, it’s definitely a guy.
Although he seems conflicted on whether or not to further approach you, either because of the alarming amount of blood surrounding you… or the fact that you’re currently glaring at him with all your remaining energy.
If you could stand up right now and throw a heavy punch right on that stupidly handsome face, you would definitely do it.
Hold on. Wait a minute… handsome?
And just as that thought crosses your mind—

Since you complained so much about this world being an omegaverse one. I’ve gathered enough energy to transmigrate you into a different story!
[ NAME ]

[ SYSTEM ]
A fantasy story!!
With sexy dragons and gods
and crown princes and witches
You want in?? <3
[ NAME ]
i’ll stick to the modern world thanks
if you transmigrate me there

be burnt alive in the first ten seconds
[ SYSTEM ]
But…
…
Umm, oh well.
I’ll use the energy to help you stay alive then!

A gentle hand softly grazes your cheek, and your nose twitches as Jude’s imposing scent grows closer. A hint of sweet caramel and grass. Like uncorking a bottle of aged whiskey on a rainy day.
Somewhere, a distant part of you recoils in resentment.
For another alpha to be this close… If you were transmigrated into this world as an omega, then perhaps the scent would soothe you instead, but that isn’t how things are. No doubt that if you were in a more stable state of mind—if the pain of your body weren’t so overwhelming—you would instinctively seethe at this.
You shift your head and gaze into his eyes, a color of molten amber, breathtakingly sharp. His skin is a rich brown, like polished mahogany, invitingly warm to the touch.
Just as the novel described him to be.
“You weren’t supposed to be here,” you hear Jude mutter, his voice as smooth as velvet.
He seems almost pained to see you there. There’s also something else, an unrecognizable look somewhere in his eyes, but it’s gone before you could even keep chase.
Frankly, you don’t really know what to say. If he wasn’t so handsome, you probably would’ve insulted his reckless driving until he cried.
So, in the end, you choose to blurt out the first thing that comes to your mind.
“You’re very handsome,” you whisper quietly, sincerely.
Jude almost loses his balance at your words. He blinks, confused, an eyebrow raised. “…Thank you?”
Oh, you feel extremely faint now. It seems like the system is finally working its weird magic.
The pain is receding, but you feel terribly, terribly sleepy. “You’re welcome,” you manage to giggle out, words slurred and barely audible.
And then—
You pass out.
â”
‘Boyfriends from the Trash Bin.’
It’s an old but completed novel that took 400 chapters to finally finish its story. You remembered finishing it all in only two days.
Despite its somewhat cute title, the novel is anything but. The main protagonist of the story, Neil—an omega, because of course he is—is constantly chased around by three different alphas, all with their own approach to capturing Neil’s heart.
Overwhelming him with gifts and money? Yes, sir. Getting more and more possessive and obsessed? Of course. Blackmailing and kidnapping? A bit too excessive but okay, you’ve seen that shit before.
After you finished reading the novel, and even with your head being a mess that time, you moved out of your comfortable position in bed, opened your laptop, and immediately typed out the most unhinged review—it was basically a complaint—you’ve ever written.
Why the author suddenly killed all of the three main love interests before pushing in a fourth one right near the end will always be a mystery to you. The guy wasn’t even that hot! Plus, you’re pretty sure he’s the one who secretly killed the other three, because none of their deaths made any sense to you.
Anyway, none of these were your points.
Your point is that you know Jude is your love rival… which means that you’re one of the three main love interests. The only problem in that logic is—
“Why do I still look the same?”
You frown at your reflection, your fingers deliberately pinching your own face in disbelief.
Yeah, that’s still your same old face alright, unchanged even as you find yourself in another world. Every wrinkle, every freckle remains the same. The same exact replica of you.
Who knew you’d be startled by your own reflection the first time you chanced a glance in the bathroom mirror. Ah, the hospital bathroom, to be exact.
Because that’s where you’ve landed yourself after taking a hit from a fast car. Surprisingly, most of your bones are still intact and already in working order, which shocked a lot of the doctors. That said, you’re still required to stay in this expensive looking hospital for a few more days.
And just as you were going to complain that you had no idea if you had insurance or not, Jude walked into your hospital room with a charming smile, dressed in a doctor’s white coat.
Oh yeah, the handsome devil was working as a doctor, you almost forgot. Jude took a step closer, and you almost sneezed when you took a whiff of his scent.
“There’s no need to worry about the money, [Name]. It was my fault for putting you here in the first place. So please, stay,” he says, eyes crinkling at the corners.
“O-oh,” you stammered at his entrance, and definitely his words. He sounded a tad more sweet than you were expecting him to be—although, that did still match his character.
Jude has always been described as a charismatic alpha. Still, that didn’t answer your question. Just who are you, really…? What’s supposed to be your role in this already weird novel?
“I’ll be paying for your stay in the hospital. And not only that, you’ll be under my care as well. It’s my utmost desire to nurse you back to health, [Name],” Jude said.
Okay. Getting a bit weird, but hey, you weren’t exactly complaining since being taken care of by such a smoking hot doctor. There were much worse scenarios you could think of when transmigrating into an Omegaverse novel.
“Alright then, but,” you paused, choosing your words carefully, “one question. How did you know my name?”
Sure, maybe Jude had stumbled upon your ID somewhere in your wallet while you were unconscious, but the way he said your name, pronounced it even, it somehow sounded like… he already knew who you were.
The corner of Jude’s lips quirked up, a faint smile crossing his face. “What are you talking about? We met during Neil’s birthday party, don’t you remember?”
“Uhh, no. You’ve gotta be more specific than that.”
Jude tapped a finger to his chin. “Hmm. Well, I mostly remember you getting drunk and how you, hours later, expressed your instant dislike of me.”
“I did…?” Your mouth hung a little open. It seemed like you found a piece of the puzzle.
Jude nodded at you, before his expression turned to something akin to concern. “Do you really remember none of it? It seems like I might have to check your head later as well.”
You quickly shook your head. “No, no. I remember now. So sorry about my, uhm, drunken self’s past behavior, Jude. The alcohol kinda got to me.”
“Of course, all is forgiven,” he answered, glancing around the room before focusing on the hanging clock. “Take some much needed rest, [Name]. Sleep is important, and it’s already 11 pm. I’ll be back tomorrow to give you another check up.”
You nodded along to his words, but, just before he leaves, Jude suddenly leans closer to you, his breath touching your ear. The smell of aged whiskey invades your surroundings.
“You’re very handsome as well, [Name].”
Your cheeks heated up, and despite your brain running on overdrive, you managed to stammer out some broken words in gratitude, “Oh?! Thanks, doc. Geez. It’s getting kinda late, huh? Yeah, I’m gonna go to sleep immediately. Like right now. You should too! Thanks again. Haha.”
After a second that still seemed a bit too long, he leaned away with a small smirk playing on his lips, turned off the lights and quietly exited the door alongside the others, leaving you in awkward silence.
You sighed.
And with your wobbly legs, you went to the bathroom connected to your room, examining your face as well as wallow in your churning thoughts.
And now, here you are.
You’re certainly not a damsel, but you sure are in distress.
[ SYSTEM ]
You know, out of all the people I had to manage
[Name], you’re actually the only one who
accepted being transmigrated the quickest!
So please cheer up!!!
You’re doing okay
(‘ê’³’)
[ NAME ]
oh now you show up
where were you when i woke up
huh???
[ SYSTEM ]
I was sleeping…
But now I’m awake!!
So, let’s discuss some stuff
[ NAME ]
yeah let’s start from my role
i know who i’m supposed to be
[ SYSTEM ]
Ah, you’ve figured it out already too?
You’re very smart [Name]
( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈♡)
[ NAME ]
i’m the third love interest
Louis, right?
[ SYSTEM ]
Yes!
You are very correct <3
10 points to you
Louis Murphy, the third alpha love interest in the novel, embodies the classic alpha stereotype: brash, hot-headed, and overflowing with self-assuredness.
And despite all of the above, he won the hearts of many of the readers because of his overall soft side towards the main character. What a classic—but that still didn’t put him as your favorite character, though. That title belongs to the man who whispered into your ear moments before.
“This shit still makes no sense whatsoever,” you grumble as you face your reflection once more.
Louis isn’t supposed to look like you. The guy has hair as white as snow, and eyes as brown as a hazelnut. There’s a mole too, positioned on the left side of his cheek.
You feel like you’re describing him in too much detail now, even though you don’t really like his character. But, hey, it’s hard not to when the guy behind your reflection looks just like him.
…
…
…Huh?
You blink once, twice, but Louis is still there, glaring at you with so much hate in his brown eyes. Well, shit.
You turn around.
Louis is still there.
He takes a step closer.
You definitely do not scream.
