What is love?
He wondered…
Before, he thought he knew what it was…
Warm hands encased in his own…
Flashing grins directed at him…
Eyes sparkling just at the sight of him…
Jokes said to make him laugh…
But now… He wondered…
Just what was love?
Was it something everyone was supposed to feel?
Something nice and warm? Something which was supposed to make everything better? Is that what love was? Love for another human being? Love for your family? Love for your friends?
Or, was it supposed to be painful? So painful you wished to rip your own heart out of your chest…?
Could someone tell him…?
Is anyone even there…?
Was he all alone…?
Left alone…?
Nothing of that made sense… He couldn’t understand any of that…
He thought he understood, but he was wrong!
Dark hair was replaced by a lighter shade…
Light eyes were replaced by dark ones…
He was gone and everything was made undone… He was the only one who stopped time from ticking by…
And it’s constantly ticking and ticking…
The sound rang in his ears… Every day… Every second… Every minute… Every hour… Over and over and over and over again…
Tick… Tick… Tick… Tick… Tick… Tick…
He begged inside his mind for the ticking to stop… He begged and begged and begged…
But it never stopped…
Even now as he looked in those dark eyes of his, it ticked and ticked and ticked… Constantly… Unstoppably…
“What’s with that look of yours?” The question got thrown right back at him. He had no answer. What was he even going to say? Staying quiet seemed like the better option in this situation, so that he did. Fingers trailed down the dark-haired boy’s cheek as Akashi leaned forward. Warm lips encase his own and he watched as Sasuke’s eyes fluttered shut.
Hands gripped at his waist and the redhead pried the other boy’s lips apart. The bed dipped even more as the two boys shifted, hands grabbing at anything that was in reach.
Akashi placed his hands on the ones on his waist and dipped his tongue inside the other boy’s mouth. Sasuke let out an exhale through his nose. The redhead pulled back, separating from the one under him.
“What look?” He finally asked back and watched as Sasuke’s lips parted, soft breaths escaping through them. A hand raised from his waist and neared his cheek. It settled on his skin and the boy’s thumb wiped across his cheekbone. Right where the scar ended.
“It’s gone now”. Was the reply he received. Those dark eyes of his trailed over his features, before they stopped at his own.
His eyes were black, not soulless nor lifeless. Instead they were like two pristine stones of onyx, that lit up with a violet flare when touched by candle light. His eyes matched the way he felt towards the world: dark and cold. The whites of his eyes contrasted sharply with the pitch black iris that sunk deep into his head. Its depth resembled that of a starless night sky, an air of eeriness and unsettling coldness emanating from his gaze.
But, as he stared into them, he realised.
The darkness and coldness, if only in that moment, were gone. Replaced by something more deep… More meaningful… Something Akashi wasn’t sure he properly understood.
Why was that look there? Was such a look meant for him? Aimed at him?
Why?
Love? Was that why?
Then, as those eyes bore deep into his own and the boy leaned in, closing the small gap between them, Akashi understood.
Ah… So that’s why…
How…
…
Amusing…
He let his eyes fall shut and his fingers gripped at the boy in front of him. Hands grabbed at his thighs and he felt himself be hoisted up into the air. Tilting his head to the side, Akashi separated their lips and brushed them over his jaw, going lower and lower. Until he reached the side of his neck. There, he parted them and slid his tongue up to the bottom of Sasuke’s jaw.
He felt himself be released and his back collided with the not-so-soft bed. Sasuke climbed over him, pushing his knees apart and settling between them. Almost immediately, Akashi felt soft lips brush over his neck. They left open mouthed kisses over the expanse of the visible skin, leaving not an inch untouched.
Hands brushed over his sides and Akashi moved his head to the side, breathing out a sigh through his lips. Sasuke pulled back and looked at him from above. “What?” The redhead found himself asking… There it was… That look again…
One could almost say it was filled with warmth…
Warmth which was directed at him…
Warmth he did not feel…
Nor wish to feel…
Sasuke pulled his hands away and leaned back. “Why are you stopping?” Akashi asked and sat up, leaning back on his arms. The other boy said nothing, but his eyes showed the inner conflict he was feeling.
Conflict? About him? What was there to conflict about?
“Come here…?” The muscles in Sasuke’s jaw flexed. And yet, he still didn’t move. “Sasuke…”. Akashi extended his hand and brushed the back of it against the boy cheek. “Sasuke”. He said softly, words coming out as a whisper. The said boy remained still as Akashi came even closer. “Sa-su-ke~”. He purred right next to his ear and that was when his back made acquaintance with the bed once again.
He almost grinned at the look in the raven-haired boy’s eyes.
Such ferocity shone in those dark eyes of his…
Such want…
Such urge…
…
Such unneeded warmth radiated from the depths of them…
Akashi hated it…
His form gave off uncertainty as his stiff fingers tried to undo the red sash around his waist. They fumbled with it for a few moments, before it came undone and the boy threw it somewhere to the side, before he returned back to Akashi. He unzipped the redhead’s outer layer, leaving him in his long-sleeved shirt. There was a brief moment of hesitation as their eyes met and Akashi sighed, sitting up.
“Is something the matter?” He asked, wrapping his arms around the other boy’s shoulders and leaning in. Sasuke stared at him, pale redness creeping up to his neck and ears. Ah… So that was the problem…
Sasuke never did anything…
His fingers played with the hair on Sasuke’s nape and he brushed his lips over the boy’s jaw. “Are you worried about not doing this properly?” The Uchiha’s eyes widened at the question and he looked away.
Bingo…
Leaning away from him, tongue darting to wet at his lips, Akashi placed his hands on the boy’s shoulder and flipped them. Sasuke let out a sharp breath as he was now under the redhead, wide eyes staring up at him. Akashi settled each knee at the sides of his hips. The redhead almost let out a laugh at the confused look in his eyes.
Leaning back to sit at his thighs, Akashi grabbed at the hem of his own shirt and pulled it over his head, throwing it somewhere behind himself. He glanced down just to find Sasuke wordlessly staring up at him, before his eyes slid down and stopped at his shoulder.
He should have known… The big scar stood out on his skin… The scar from that day… No amount of healing had made it disappear…
A hand was soundlessly raised, but before it could touch the scar, Akashi gripped it by the wrist, effectively stopping it. “Do not”. Was all that he said and that was enough to make the other boy pull his hand back. They stared at one another for a short moment of time, before Akashi shifted on top of him, reaching his hand forward.
His fingers grabbed the zip of Sasuke’s shirt and pulled it down till the end, completely opening his front. The moment his palm touched the middle of the Uchiha’s chest, he felt his body shiver from beneath him. At the contact, Sasuke’s hand covered the one at his chest.
How innocent…
He looked so innocent in that moment… Wide eyes… Hair pushed back, revealing everything there was… Red tips of his ears… The blush almost reached his collarbones…
As Akashi shifted once more, Sasuke released his hand and breathed out, momentarily closing his eyes, before they opened back up. “Sit up”. The redhead said and Sasuke obliged. Hands slid over bare shoulders and pushed the shirt back, making it cascade down the raven-haired boy’s back. Then, hands reached his sash and effortlessly undid it, throwing it somewhere to the side.
He felt his throat constrict as fingers trailed down his navel and stopped at the fabric of his pants. Slowly glancing in front of him, he was met with those violet eyes of his…
They were cold… So, so, cold…
“Lay down”. His tone was blank, but Sasuke did as he asked. As soon as he laid down, Akashi’s fingers slipped under and he barely restrained the breathy gasp that threatened to leave his lips. Warm skin touched his own and he clenched his eyes shut at the feeling…
This…
“Open your eyes”. He didn’t do so. With a flick of his wrist, Akashi watched as those dark eyes of his snapped open and his teeth grit together. Akashi’s lips curled up into a light smirk at the sight beneath him.
Sasuke’s skin was even more flushed than before. His lips were parted, short and fast breaths escaping through them.
There he was… The mighty Uchiha… At the mercy of his hands… Quite literally…
“Do not look away from me”. He ordered and pulled the top part of the pants down with his other hand, exposing the boy’s private parts in the process. A hiss escaped Sasuke’s lips as cold air made contact with his heated skin.
How wonderful… The sight before him…
Sasuke watched as Akashi’s eyes darkened in a moments time and the smirk on his face dropped. He watched as a tongue darted out to wet at his lips, before it slipped back. A shiver raked through his body as Akashi’s hand suddenly moved. “How is it?” The redhead asked and Sasuke didn’t have the chance to answer, because the hand released him.
The boy atop him shifted and moved away from him to sit at the edge of the bed. “Where do you keep ointment?” Sasuke blinked at the question, unsure as to why he was being asked that, before it dawned on him.
“In my pouch, on the table”. He answered, kind of glad that his voice didn’t waver. Akashi stood up and Sasuke observed as the muscles in his back shifted with each step he took. Damn it… There was slight shuffling as the redhead looked through his pouch, before he turned around, a small bottle of clear liquid between his fingers. He walked back to the bed and stopped next to it, settling the bottle next to Sasuke.
His fingers reached his own pants and he looked at Sasuke as he unzipped them, slowly pulling them down and kicking them to the side. His undergarments went next, leaving him bare in the dimly lit room. Without a hint of shame or embarrassment on his features, he climbed back onto the bed and settled over Sasuke again.
The said boy watched as he took the bottle in his hands and popped the cap open with his teeth, before he poured a generous amount of it onto his free hand. He popped it back up and placed it down next to Sasuke.
All the while not breaking eye contact.
Sasuke’s throat felt raw all of a sudden. Akashi looked like he knew what he was doing… Ah… Sasuke’s heart twisted inside his chest at the thought… Of course… He had obviously done this before, judging by how unbothered he was with everything…
Then, he watched as the said boy reached a hand behind himself and his teeth grit together a moment later. A wave of burning sensations passed through Sasuke’s body at the sight and he couldn’t restrain himself from sitting up, face to face with the boy atop him. “I told you to lay down”. He said, but Sasuke ignored him, reaching his hand to join Akashi’s.
He immediately felt the slippery substance over the boy’s hand and intertwined his fingers with the boy’s free ones…
Free ones…
Leaning forward, he parted his lips and connected them with Akashi’s own. His other hand settled atop the redhead’s thigh, fingers digging into his skin. Then, he trailed the hand closer to the boy’s middle, before it made contact with his private parts. He felt Akashi sigh into his lips and watched as he moved back with his pupils blown wide, almost completely covering his violet irises.
Sasuke shifted closer and pulled the boy towards himself, clenching his teeth as their hot flesh brushed against one another. Akashi leaned forward, lips trailing over the Uchiha’s neck, sharp teeth dragging along his skin. Not a moment passed, before he sank them into the boy’s soft flesh. Sasuke threw his head back, teeth gritting together at the unexpected pain.
Akashi slid his tongue over the wound, cleaning the thin drops of crimson away. Sasuke relaxed the grip he had on his fingers and slid one down, slipping it in to join Akashi’s other finger. The said boy froze in his lap, not moving a muscle. As Sasuke shifted the finger, Akashi gripped at his shoulder with his free hand. Sasuke could see over Akashi’s shoulder, and he saw how his back muscles strained at the intrusion.
Should he stop? Was this too much?
“Just add another one”. As if the boy in his arms could sense his hesitation, he spoke up. Sasuke did as he asked, but before that, he pulled Akashi’s hand away, letting it join the other one around his shoulders. He added two more fingers and felt Akashi’s blunt nails dig into his back. The boy was almost shaking in his arms.
He moved the fingers, and his free hand settled on Akashi’s lower back, gently trailing his palm up and down… Trying to bring at least a little comfort to the other boy. A wince resounded right next to his ear and he stopped in an instant.
“Do I stop?” He asked and not even a moment later, he found himself with his back on the bed. He was faced with an unexpected sight. Akashi was blankly staring at him, but his shoulders were trembling. He raised himself to his knees and reached his hand behind, fingers wrapping around Sasuke’s private parts. The said boy’s eyes widened as, in a moments time, Akashi sank back down.
Both of them froze and just stared at one another with their soft breathing being the only thing that was heard in the practically empty room they found themselves in.
Akashi’s palms rested upon Sasuke’s chest, fingers barely pressing into his skin. He glanced at the Uchiha under him and was met with flushed skin and a heated gaze… He wondered how the boy was staying still in a situation like this…
Warm hands crept up to his hips and as he shifted, a quiet moan was sighed out through his lips. Fingers dug into his hips, but Sasuke still didn’t try to move.
Why was that?
“Can you lay down?” Was the sudden question. Akashi blinked and watched as Sasuke sat up, making him grip at his shoulders when he felt him shift inside of him.
“Why?” He asked, tightening his knees around the raven-haired boy.
“Wouldn’t it be easier?” Lips brush across his shoulder and he forced down a shudder which was about to resurface.
“Maybe”. Seems like that was the answer Sasuke was looking for, because, as soon as the words left the redhead’s lips, he found himself being flipped around and settled onto the bed.
Then, hands pushed his legs apart and Sasuke settled between them, leaning down to Akashi. “Isn’t this better?” He asked softly, almost like a whisper. Akashi leaned his head onto the not-so-comfortable pillow and sighed out.
“Maybe”. He used the same word he used a moment ago. Sasuke didn’t look like he minded it that much. Akashi glanced back at him as he felt something blunt nudge him. Sasuke was hovering above him, not moving, just… Waiting?
Waiting for what? “Can I?” Was the question he was asked. Ah… So he was waiting for approval? Akashi blinked, before he slowly nodded, watching as Sasuke sighed out and shifted, pushing closer to him. The redhead grabbed at the boy’s hands, which were at both sides of his head, at the intrusion. His eyes clenched shut as a flash of pain went through his body.
Something pressed against his forehead and when he opened his eyes, he was met with the onyx ones of the other boy. He had leaned his forehead against Akashi’s as he pushed in as much as he could. Akashi’s back arched at the feeling of everything…
“Are you al-!” The dark-haired boy didn’t have the time to ask the question, when Akashi’s legs tightened around him, pulling him even closer. The Uchiha shuddered at the feeling of everything…
“Just fucking move…”. The boy under him almost hissed out. Sasuke moved his hands to the boy’s hips and Akashi didn’t release the grip he had on his wrists. Sasuke’s palms gripped those hips of his and he slowly moved out, feeling his body tremble the whole way out. His skin was burning hot. He breathed in and glanced at Akashi as he slowly moved back in. He watched as the boy’s eyes clenched shut and the muscles in his stomach contracted when his body stiffened.
Akashi held back the moan that threatened to rip out of his throat and turned his head to the side, stuffing the right side of his face into the bed covers. “Look at me”. Sasuke said softly, sounding like he was out of breath. Akashi gripped his wrists, but did not turn to look at him. “Akashi”. His name was whispered and he looked at the other boy.
“What…?” He asked, crossing his ankles behind Sasuke’s back. Then, without notice, Sasuke twisted his hands out of Akashi’s grip and, instead, grabbed the redhead by his own wrists. Confused, Akashi watched as Sasuke moved back, pulling out almost completely, before he moved back in at the same time he pulled Akashi down.
A violent shiver ripped through him at the feeling and a breathy sigh left his lips. Sasuke leaned down and planted his lips on Akashi’s own, tilting his head to the side. Their mouths blended together as they moved together, chasing their release…
Akashi clenched his eyes shut as the sensations overwhelmed him and his body stiffened in response. From above him, Sasuke separated their lips and clamped his teeth over the tender skin of his neck as his body released a shudder. A brief moment of time passed and Sasuke moved back up, harsh breaths of air escaping through his lips.
He glanced down at Akashi to find him in a similar state. His arms were spread around him, chest rapidly raising and falling with every intake of breath. Sasuke moved away and collapsed next to the redhead, staring up at the ceiling.
Then, Akashi looked to the side and was met with the relaxed expression of the other boy.
The dark hair framed his pale face and pooled atop the white covers of the pillow… A clear contrast…
Those lashes of his were longer than his own, dark enough to be clearly seen in the dimly lit room…
…
Could he ever love the boy laying next to him? He wondered…
But… Why wonder when he already knew the answer?
Love was just a figment of imagination.
