“No, no, it is. It is. That is right.” Tara said frantically tightening her grip on the knife as she listened to the man. “The correct answer is Billy Loomis and Stu Macher. There are two killers in the original Stab. I’m afraid someone’s got to die now.”
“No, no, no. Vanya, I’m coming.” Tara said as she slammed the phone down on the counter and made her way to the front door once she opened it she was greeted by Ghost face who slashed her shoulder blade.
As she tried to close the door back he was holding it open the only thing she could do was pull it open which caused the person to stumble back giving her enough time to close the door. “Fuck, fuck, fuck.” She said as she backed away holding onto her shoulder.
The police are on their way, asshole!” She yelled as she armed the security systems with her phone still holding the knife up as she looked at the door. “Oh, my God. No.” She said seeing the systems had disarmed and she armed them again.
It was a sick game of back and forth as she armed them just for them to be disarmed again by ghost face who pounded on the door at the same time then pounding eventually stopped and the door stayed locked.
The sound of the landline ringing caused her to jump as she picked up the phone fear evident in her voice. “Hello?” She said shakily her grip on the knife tight as ever. “Bonus question, Tara.” The sound of ghost faces voice leaving her hand shaking. “Please stop.”
“Do you think I made it inside your house before you could rearm?” The line went silent after he said that as he came up behind Tara and stabbed her in the stomach with the knife she held.
Screams could be heard from inside the house as she was stabbed she made her way towards the kitchen. She went to hit ghost face but was met by him grabbing her hair and slamming her down.
“Please somebody help!” Tara screamed as she crawled on the floor trying to get away from him. He had eventually grabbed onto her leg and she managed to kick him off and in the face.
But that just made him angry because the next thing he did was step on her leg breaking it as a crack was heard followed by more of Tara’s screams. By then Vanya had finally made her way to the house little did she know she was stabbed in more than one place and was losing blood.
Once she made it on the door step she heard Tara’s loud screams from inside the house she was surprised no one else heard them. The door was locked when she tried to open it the only thing she could do was break the window and try not to cut herself on the way in.
After making it in side with a couple of scratches she looked around the house. “Tara!” She yelled out then hearing her screams coming from the kitchen as she ran there. When she got into the kitchen ghost face was on top of Tara and her just stabbed her in the hand after trying to go for her face.
The screams Tara let out almost brought tears to her eyes for some reason unbeknownst to her, she could only justify it as she was starting the like Tara maybe a bit too much. The only thing she could think of doing was tackling him so that’s exactly what she did the man fell with a thud.
The knife was out of his hand and across the floor as Vanya tried to make her way over to it but was met by her face being slammed into the ground the last thing she saw was Tara’s unconscious body followed by blue and red lights as she went unconscious herself.
Vanya would go conscious and unconscious every once in a while she would mostly see lights or people around her. When she finally stayed down for awhile she woke up in the hospital bed and groaned as she looked up at the bright light then around her.
“Where am I? Where’s Tara?” Vanya said with a groan as she sat up holding onto her head as sat up watching as a nurse rushed in. “You shouldn’t be sitting up Ms. Bridger.” The nurse said as she helped her lay back down. “Where is Tara?”
Vanya asked again as she looked up at the nurse who was checking her vitals after lying down reluctantly. “She’s asleep in her room I will take you to her when you are cleared to stand. The nurse said calmly as she tried to reassure the girl.
“Look how about you just get me some crutches or something and let me go that way I won’t have to sneak out when you leave.” Vanya said smiling at the nurse as she tried to convince her she was fine.
“You know I really shouldn’t do that..” she said as she walked towards the door and brought crutches putting them next to her bed. “But since I like you this will be our little secret.”
“Don’t get caught and if you do try not to mention me.” The nurse said with a smile as she walked out leave the girl by herself. After the nurse left Vanya grabbed the crutches and began to walk towards Tara’s room.
After a little while of slowly moving to not make her throbbing headache worse she made it to the girls room and noticed her sound asleep this caused her to smile we she walked inside the room and laid down next to Tara holding her close as she closed her eyes.
Vanya had accidentally fell asleep and by time she woke up she was surrounded by an awake Tara and their friends all around. She rubbed her eyes a bit before looking at Amber and sending her a glare that only she could notice before smiling at the others.
“Hey guys.” Vanya said in a sleepy voice as she started to sit up the look at Tara. “Hey my love how are you feeling?” She said as she looked at the smaller girl with a smile that she returned. “I could be better but it’s not too bad.”
“Are you sure? If I’m hurting you or you need space just let me know.” Vanya said receiving a nod from the younger girl as she heard Wes clear his throat and turned to look at him. “So I’m just gonna say what we’re all thinking are you guys okay?”
Wes said looking around the room before back at them, Vanya just nodded she and Wes never really got along due to his pinning over Tara. “I’m fine guys I promise just a little sore.” Tara said as she gave them all a comforting smile interlacing her other hand with Vanya’s
Their conversation was cut short by the sound of the door opening followed by three people walking in. “How are you feeling?” Tara’s sister said as she walked and and over to Tara. “You came.” Tara said with a smile as she looked at her sister.
“Of course I came. This is my boyfriend Mason and our friend Richie.” She said as she introduced the two guys to her little sister. “It’s so nice to meet you. I’m so sorry if I’m intruding.” Both the boys said as they smiled at the girl.
“Nice to meet you both too.” The brown haired girl said giving them a polite smile. “Hi, thank you for calling.” She said to Wes as she hugged him with a smile. “Hi, of course.” He said with a smile as he hugged her back.
“These are Chad and Mindy, the twins. And Wes. I used to babysit them all. Oh plus Amber and Vanya.” Sam said pointing them each out individually as the boys nodded. “Which is always how I like to be introduced.”
Wes chimed in as he let out a small laugh causing Sam to laugh also. “Where’s mom?” Sam said as she looked around the room not seeing any sign of their mother. “She’s stuck at a conference in London.” Tara said which caused Sam and Vanya to roll their eyes.
“She always seems to be stuck somewhere.” Vanya mumbled to herself but it obviously caught a couple of the others attention. “Look guys, Tara’s really tired. Maybe we should just give her some space.” Amber said as the others nodded in agreement.
“I’ll be outside if you need anything T just call for me.” Vanya said as she stood up and grabbed her crutches as she looked at her girlfriend with a smile before walking out. “Not you Sam I want you to stay.”
A/N: I hope this story makes sense so far and yes I made Richie the friend because someone so bleh does not deserve someone as fine as sam I wanted to get rid of him completely but then the scream 6 part of the book wouldn’t make sense.
