2015, still New York – still Manhattan

   Half an hour later the avengers were discussing what happened and how they’d deal with it. Actually, forget that, they were basically saying that Tony’s and Bruce’s idea was despicable and badly executed. Alec was sitting on one of the labs table, finding it amusing how they were being scolded by Steve and Natasha like little kids who did something bad.

– Guys, aren’t you missing the point? – the boy asked and now he had the avengers attention – Yeah they fucked up real bad but now we have a maniac robot out there who wants to end humanity.

– Kid’s right, we should be searching for him and for a way to stop his plan. – Clint agreed with him, and the avengers seemed to acknowledge the situation.

– Ok, so how do we find him? – Steve asked before sighing. Tony turned to his son before saying:

– Can’t you do your mind thing to locate Ultron or whatever? – the teen rolled his eyes.

– How can you call yourself a genius? – he asked rhetorically – Ultron is all over the internet, I can’t locate him like that. – he frowned – Even if I could, he doesn’t have a mind so that wouldn’t work.

– Wait, “mind thing”? – Natasha asked, confused – What mind thing?

– Oh, I didn’t tell you? – Tony said sarcastically – My son over here is a very powerful mutant. – if they really paid attention, they’d be able to notice the bit of pride Stark lets out, but it just sounded smug and ironically.

– A mutant? I thought those didn’t exist anymore. – said Maria Hill, a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who stayed after the attack to understand about what happened.

– Nah, we just hide ourselves better now. – Alec shrugged his shoulders.

– What are you, an alpha-level? – it was Clint who questioned curiously.

– No.. um, I’m actually omega-level. – the corner of his mouth twitched up slightly at the end.

The three S.H.I.E.L.D. agents were surprised, omega-level mutants were so hard to find, especially these day that mutants are so rare. They were taught to be careful with those at all cost since they’re more powerful than the average mutants.

– I don’t know what that was about but we gotta find Ultron so, if we could focus for like ten seconds that’d be great. – Steve said rubbing his eyes.

– Captain’s right, you guys have work to do, so toodles.

With that, Alec left the lab and went to his bedroom at the avengers tower. He could feel someone watching him, which was odd since his room is on the highest floor but he ignored anyway – since it could be just his mind playing tricks, like it has happened before – and proceeded to take off his button up black shirt and hop in the shower.

At one of a close building, sat Peter Parker. He was at New York that night walking around doing something his aunt asked and suddenly he saw robots being thrown out of the window of the avengers towers, he managed to catch some of them, not letting them fall into someone’s head. He sat on top of a near building to analyze the pieces he caught, when his gaze flicked to one room at the tower, with it’s light being turned on, he saw a guy and for some reason Peter felt like he couldn’t take his eyes off of him.

That trance was over when he began taking off his shirt, Peter quickly avoided looking at the boy and turned around. He gather up his things and got out of there, not even looking back.

It took the team two days to find out Ultron were at Sokovia and that he bought vibranium to make a stronger body for himself. Tony called his son to help on the mission and they were currently in a jet flying to Sokovia. However, when they landed Steve had other thoughts on Alec being there.

– No, he’s staying here with Bruce, Tony. – he said sternly – I don’t care that he’s strong, he still a kid. – Stark didn’t even tried to argue anymore, he just sent his kid an apologetic look before leaving the jet.

– I’m almost eighteen, Cap. – Alec answered but he was already gone.

Bruce wasn’t much of a talker with people he didn’t know, so they both sit silently until Alec heard some explosions really far.

– They’re fighting Ultron, I can hear it.

– How? They’re so far from us. – Banner frowned his eyebrows in confusion.

– Enhanced hearing, i can hear everything. – the teenager replied.

– It must be nice to have so many abilities like this… – the older trailed off.

– Yeah, until I lose control and fuck things up. – Bruce send him and worried look – Relax, it’s no big deal, it only happened once.

  They fell into a comfortable silence again, the boy was playing games on his phone with headphones on while Bruce was reading something. That was until the older could hear someone calling him so he walked outside the jet where he was met with Wanda Maximoff, one of the twins that were helping Ultron with his plan, she messed with his mind and brought the Hulk out, and the giant beast ran off to the city.

  Wanda could sense someone inside the jet, so she entered it to mess up with their head as well. She was met with a boy that was probably just a few years younger than herself seemingly harmless, but somehow she could feel she needed to be careful. When the woman thought of entering his head, Alec’s gaze shot up at her.

– That won’t work, sweetheart. – he got up from his sit and moved closer to her – You’ll get a headache if you try it.

  Wanda tried lifting her arm to throw a blast of magic at the boy, but her body didn’t answer her commands, not even her legs were moving. She had a panicked look on her face, “How the hell is he doing this?” she thought.

– Who are you, sweetheart? – she stayed quiet – You don’t want to be rude right? Not to the person who could make your heart stop beating, hm? – he threatened, even though he had some amusement on his eyes, Wanda felt like he wasn’t joking.

– I’m Wanda.

– Pretty name for a pretty girl. – he said with a smirk – Y’know, Wanda, I could hold you here until the others arrives and then you’d probably be arrested. – he put a strand of her hair behind her ears – But you’re too pretty for this, so I’m letting you go.

– Why? – the Maximoff could feel she had control over her body again, but she didn’t try to hurt the boy anymore.

– Things will be more interesting this way, sweetheart.

   Wanda didn’t stay longer, she turned her back and ran away, meeting with Pietro on the way. Alec just sits back at the comfortable seat of the jet and waits for the others to arrive, he smiles to himself, he really hopes to see the girl again, under better circumstances where the team wasn’t so close to them. What? Did you really think that Tony Stark’s son wouldn’t be a playboy?

When he began training with the X-men, he got the attention of the students, honestly he got hot as fuck and suddenly they all wanted him – boys and girls -, and well, let’s just say that he enjoyed himself a lot those years. This year in college, things weren’t so different, he was at almost every party hooking up and sleeping around with people, he’s made quite a reputation for himself.

The avengers arrived at the jet not much after, apparently disappointed on themselves which makes Alec think that the mission was an obvious failure. He didn’t say anything about Wanda or about the looks on their faces as they silently flew the jet to Clint’s house, something that the boy figured out only when they landed. They were introduced to Barton’s family – except for Natasha since she already knew them -, his beautiful and pregnant wife Laura, the oldest son Cooper and the youngest daughter Lila.

It was afternoon already and Alec was sitting on the bench at the backside of the house, admiring the sunset and overthinking about the things he has to do and realizing he’s going to procrastinate and do everything last-minute. That was until a noise got his attention, someone was chopping wood, so he peeked over the fence and he was met with Steve Rogers himself in all his glory and muscles lifting the hammer before bringing it down with force.

Alec unconsciously licks his lips and a side of his brain is saying “you’re insane he’s old enough to be your grandpa” and the other side is like “but his body is still young” and he could also hear some part just screaming. He stopped staring before Captain caught him and left the place and got inside the house. He looked for his father and found him about to open the door.

– Wait, dad. – he called walking to him – Just wanted to say goodbye, I gotta go to college tomorrow so.

– How are you going? – Tony asked confused – You can’t fly the jet, can you?

– Obviously not, I’ll use teleportation, genius. – he said sarcastically – Say goodbye to the team for me, please. – and he just vanished in a purple mist of magic.

Over at the kitchen table, Lila has her mouth agape and her eyes widen in surprise. She even had to stop her coloring and blink twice to check if she wasn’t seeing things, but the boy really just disappeared magically. She could only think of one thing: her dad’s friends were so cool!
