FOUR DAYS LATER,chirps of birds added a sweet symphony to the morning through erendille..diana sat in front of her mirror while Lucille was brushing her goldilocks slowly.
DIANA’S POV!
ruby went to see iz,I hope he warms up a little around her .. even if I understand how he’s feeling about this I cannot possibly cancel out ruby’s feelings,of course she might be feeling lonely here so i will try my best to make her feel welcomed!hm..the royal banquet tonight could be a great opportunity for her to have friends too perhaps.
thinking about this with a smile upon her archangelic face,before gazing towards the door and seeing the familiar emerald skirts of her cousin.
” oh ellen “she said softly while Lucille bowed her head towards Ellen before excusing herself out of Diana’s bedroom.
” freya is here,would you like to join us for the teatime Dee? “she asked gently,with her younger cousin Ellen’s poker face wasn’t really present it was only an expression of soft features and a sweet gaze but without any smiling.
” oh sure!i was already coming downstairs anyway “Diana replied with a smile as she got up and followed Ellen out of the bedroom.
the carmine dress the blonde wore made her look like a red rose,diana was as beautiful as a rose after all. golden curls held up in a ponytail and pair of ruby earrings.

sitting in the dining room with Freya,cakes and tea already set on the table..for a moment it was Freya and Ellen sharing a conversation while Diana was a listener.
” so how is she?is she nice? “Freya asked,it wasn’t hard to know that this question was about ruby.
” she’s nice,in fact very polite in a surprising way “Ellen said softly before sipping some tea.
” oh really?im glad she’s not like the rumors then “freya said with a smile as she set her fan down .
” don’t tell me you usually believe rumors Freya? “Diana asked gently,after taking a bite of a cream cake decorated with strawberries and blueberries.
” oh not really Dee I just think it’s entertaining sometimes,besides you are aware how the borgias are the center of gossiping “freya replied gently as she folded her arms,still with a polite smile towards diana.
” but you know this doesn’t mean the rumors about ruby are true “diana said softly,getting a feeling of displeasure but she hid it behind her angelic smile.
” ruby? “Freya blinked.
” that’s her nickname,we thought it’s best to address each other like that so she can feel comfortable here “Ellen replied softly as she looked at Freya.
DIANA’S POV!
hm?why is she gripping her fan like that?it feels like she wants to hit something..i find it odd that Freya’s behavior changes whenever we bring ruby up .. the strange thing is she didn’t visit the last four days it was Ellen who went to the furiana mansion yesterday to sit with her but..
( FLASHBACK:YESTERDAY ).
” we were speaking about visiting the stores together at a point for new accessories,until when i told her about ruby her smile dropped but i didn’t think much of it “Ellen said softly while taking off her earrings.

DIANA’S POV!
Could Freya be afraid of ruby because of these rumors?if that’s why .. I mostly find it ridiculous.
” But where’s she? “freya asked while looking around.
” ruby?oh , she went to see iz “Diana replied gently.
” i was heading there to see him as well,who knows I might bump into her “freya said with a friendly smile,seemingly looking forward to meet ruby .
” you’ll still meet her tonight,you know..come by tonight here and the four us can go to the royal palace together “Ellen suggested.
” that’s a great idea!what do you think? “Diana asked Freya who was thinking about it but soon replied with sparkling violet irises and a smile.
” of course i agree!hm,I do have to go now so I can prepare myself “she said softly while getting up.
DIANA’S POV!
she doesn’t really seem hesitant or afraid about meeting ruby,then .. what’s with her mood swings whenever hearing about ruby? .. I do remember that from whatever I saw that rudbeckia used to pull schemes on freya..but it doesn’t seem like ruby would do such a thing..to me ruby seems afraid of her own shadow.

EVENING SOON CAME BY,it was time to head to Angurban royal palace for the banquet..standing gracefully as diana waited for ruby along with Ellen and freya.
doll-like figure wrapped in a gown of white and soft pink ,white gloves reaching her elbows and of course the dress decorated in delicate jewelry with her golden curls brushed gracefully.
DIANA’S POV!
i wasn’t in the mood for a hairstyle ,but i still look beautiful it’s enough to know that from how the maids’s eyes are sparkling towards me .. HUH –
freezing for a moment,she saw ruby coming downstairs with her golden hair in a beautiful ponytail..wearing a summer dress with soft colours .. she was sparkling like a diamond.
DIANA’S POV!
AN ANGEL DESCENDENT FROM THE SKY!she looks very beautiful..my eyes are blessed.
” you look very beautiful ruby! “Diana said with a smile as her eyes closed,like imaginary flowers floating around her as she spoke.
” ruby ,i see you’ve finished your preparations for the banquet “Ellen said softly,her silver locks resembling the moonlight in a way..her slender figure laced in the emerald dress she had on .
RUBY’S POV!
It feels like I’m being hit by a light!these two are very beautiful I can’t believe a goddess like ellen almost married an idiot like Enzo!thank goodness she didn’t!!her personality is heavenly as well..and diana,it’s a crime being this beautiful and even being cute!they’re keeping their word to address me as ruby!
” thank you Dee,you’re very beautiful too and yes I finished..oh “ruby turned her bluish gaze next to Ellen on the left side but she still smiled beautifully.
” and the person next to you is? “she asked gently.
” Allow me to introduce you to my old friend ,this is Freya van furiana “Ellen said softly,while freya was smiling towards ruby.
wearing a gown of beautiful lilac, usually to Diana this color suited Freya beautifully.
” Good evening lady rudbeckia!it’s nice to meet you “Freya said softly,giving a wink towards ruby as she smiled with her fan raised up .
DIANA’S POV!
these two maids .. murmuring and smiling about Freya,while they gave ruby hostile glares . DO THEY THINK IT WENT UNNOTICED!?
” It’s a pleasure to meet you too,lady Freya! “ruby replied with a smile,making the violet gaze of Freya widen in surprise and admiration as she closed her fan,her other hand tugging on Ellen’s arm.
” Ellen!why didn’t you tell me she was this lovely “Freya said with a smile.
” You make it sound as though I described her negatively “Ellen replied with her usual calmness but Diana sensed a hint of awkwardness in her tone.
just when Ellen looked aside to tell diana something,Freya turned her head to look at ruby as she opened her fan .. the sweet warm gaze turned cold as she eyed ruby up and down.
RUBY’S POV!
huh?is there something wrong with my gown?
ruby’s thought got cut off when diana held her hand gently,giving her a warm smile as ruby got surprised at first but soon smiled towards her .
” Oh right,ruby my brother said he may arrive later than us he asked for your understanding “Ellen said softly .
” Unfortunately his days gets busier during the summer,i hope this isn’t upsetting you “Diana said softly while still holding her hand.
” Of course it’s fine .. thank you for informating me “ruby replied after a soft and short laugh. she wasn’t really expecting anything from iske.
