Dianthus Caryophyllus; A Soonhoon Fic WOOZI BIRTHDAY SPECIAL CHAPTER

Before I start, let me just say…

Woozi is my bias (yes I think you guys should know by now hehe) and he was also the first member I knew from svt(thanks to that solo part in don’t wanna cry). Before I became a carat, I always knew him as ‘the short one’ or ‘the producer’ but now, I know him for so much more. 

happy birthday to the awesome vocal team leader, producer, cute, talented woozi! 

I am so glad I actually decided to stan seventeen 😀

OK anyways lemme just end this rant and bless you with his pics and then the chapter shall be after. 

(woozi with pink hair is like my fav out of all he tried cos its so cute)

Retching sounds were heard and a worried and panicked male ran into the bathroom, only to see his now boyfriend retching into the toilet.

Soonyoung hurriedly patted his back, before helping him clean up the blood on his face.

“Thanks-“

“You don’t need to thank me, I’m always here for you. But why is this still happening ji?”

“I-I…”

“I really don’t want you to suffer anymore because of me ji, w-why????”

“Shhh soonie, I’m fine.”

“B-But you are still vomiting out p-petals…” Hot tears were now falling onto his cheeks.

Jihoon reached out a hand to wipe away the flowing tears.

“I’m fine, really. Come on I want to cuddle and sleep.”

Later that day.

“Hoshi hyung, can we talk to you?”

“Sure.”

Soonyoung quickly wrapped the blankets over the body of the smaller boy who was asleep and walked after the maknae.

“Yes?”

“Hoshi, don’t freak out when we tell you this.”

Worry crept up his spine, filling him with dread. 

Did something happen to the other members?

Did woozi’s condition worsen and they were informed by the doctor?

“Hey, its nothing bad don’t worry.” Jeonghan brought him into a hug, trying to make the younger calm down from his worried state.

“When you were in the hospital, the doctor told us that there is a chance that you can love again.”

“W-What? M-Me? L-Love again?” Soonyoung was extremely puzzled over his hyung’s words. Questions raced across his mind.

“B-But I t-took the surgery… H-How.”

“Shhh, let us explain. The doctor told us that when you got injured, it affected the chest area which is also where the you are operated on. However, the catch is that people around the world who had suffered from chest injuries after getting the surgery all managed to get their feelings back. So there is a very high chance that you can love again. Actually, 100% according to statistics but there may still be exceptions.”

Is that why the butterflies reappeared? But he didn’t want to believe it, or rather, it was too good to be true.

“W-wait… So I can love jihoon again?”

“Yes horangi.”

“Are you sure this is not a sick joke?”

Doubt laced his face, thinking it was one of his hyung’s schemes again and Dino was just helping.

“No hyung, its true.”

The stern and serious looks on their faces told him that it was not some sick joke, but the truth. To say that soonyoung was shocked was an understatement. After 6 years, the truth that he could never fall in love again already hit him, settled and he had accepted it, but this was a whole new thing. He was glad, but also scared.

But one thing was for sure, he would tell and show jihoon and the whole world how much he loved lee jihoon.

The 2 could only smile at the now excited male as he sped back to his room.

“Ji? Ji?”

He was met with his boyfriend yet again vomiting.

“H-Help…”

“Ji, stay with me, you are fine. Deep breaths.”

After awhile, he finally stopped vomiting and could breathe properly.

“Soonie, I’m sorry…”

“No, ji why are you sorry?”

“My time is almost up soonie…”

“No don’t say stuff like that, don’t…”

Tears were flowing down both of their cheeks now as the taller cradled the other in his arms.

“Ji, I can’t survive without you… I love you too much… If you die I will die too.”

“No soonie, you do not die after I die. You stay here, happy and healthy.”

“But my happiness is you ji, so if you are gone I have no use of staying alive.”

“Soonie, please don’t…”

Jihoon was pleading by now, but the other would not budge.

“Ji, if you stay, I stay, if you go, I go. We are boyfriends, we follow where the other goes no matter what sort of games fate will play with us.”

“But Soonie…”

But Jihoon was getting tired, after all that vomiting, he was weak and too tired to retaliate. And his boyfriend would never ever budge on this matter.

“No buts ji.”

As soonyoung watched the younger trying not to close his eyes, he added.

“Ji, if you are tired, go sleep, I’ll stay here with you. I’ll forever stay by your side.”

As he watched the younger fall asleep in his hold, he pressed his lips to his now sleeping boyfriend. The latter’s lips were soft, taste addicting as always.

“I love you.” He mumbled before climbing onto the bed and falling asleep in each other’s arms.

Less than a month later, jihoon was cured of his hanahaki. It seems, Kwon Soonyoung has learnt to love again, and cured the younger.

AND…..

We are officially done with this fic! No special chapters or any other additional chapters will be added after this. But…

THERE IS A BOOK 2!

Its a Jihan fic, but there will be slight mentions of soonhoon too! Its going to be published on 30 Dec 2020, aka Joshua’s birthday! (and taetae’s too) Soonhoon and Jihan are my tied fav ship in the group so yea. I wanted to write a book about jihan. 

And… Another soonhoon book called tattoos has been published today. I hope you will enjoy that book too!
