Chapter 36: Reunion
  The leader’s laughter echoed in the monitoring room and the screen reflected the picture, coldly projecting every corner of the experimental tower.
  Ten years ago…
  The same monitoring room, the same display, the same petri dish.
  Coral pearl shells, seaweed fluttering grass, and the most primitive and colorful creatures are raised in the nutrient solution.
  In front of the huge floor-to-ceiling glass, a young figure came from the dark. His body was perfect and the black training uniform covered his body curves. He stood in front of the table in the monitoring room and reported his situation with his head down.

  “Lin Xi, your life is not yours but given to you by the laboratory. Don’t let me see your bloody appearance again.”

  Lin Xi didn’t say much and lowered his head to leave.
  But the man in the white coat stopped him again.
  “I will reduce your outing tasks from tomorrow.” He suddenly said.
  Lin Xi took a light footstep and raised his head hesitantly.
  Dr. Mu had already looked back at the desktop. He closed one report and opened another.
  “Starting today, your new task is to guide a second-generation mutant, let him further evolve and learn to actively use the skills of heteroblasts like you.”
  “Yes.”
  Lin Xi did not object even if he did, he knew that he can’t either.
  In his year, the II-generation mutants have been divided into two categories. One is the soldiers who participated in the laboratory program two years ago.
