Chapter 8: Creator

“Did you know that the first human xenogeneic was close to perfection, his germ layer test was a normal human. With archaeal cells flowing in his blood, he could easily defeat the evolved predators while maintaining the child’s innocence is simply the patron saint of mankind given by God.”

“He passed the spark of evolution for us. However the greed, violence and jealousy of human beings imprisoned him and took advantage of him. They trapped the patron saint in the experiment room and was dissected as a specimen. The poor human Xenogeneic, he is like the savior on the cross, he clearly passed the fire for mankind but he has to suffer these hardships.”

“The teacher can’t bear the deprivation of the rights of the Xenogeneic species. He told the truth and the rulers raised objections, he was mocked and rejected by those people. So the teacher left the laboratory with the guardian’s fire and came to the village of Gaia.”

    “He recreated a Xenogeneic. ”

The conversation between the young man and Lin Xi seemed to affect the villagers next to him. This group of people put their hands on their chests and made a gesture of prayer.

“Dragon God helped us resist the invasion of alien species. Helped us distinguish archaea from normal water sources, helped us fertile the soil in our villages, and helped us build the Gaia civilization. He did everything he could to help us free from the suffering of the last days. He is a brand-new alien species with human wisdom, the god of everyone in the village of Gaia.”

Moroka said and also made a prayer gesture.

The afterglow of the setting sun was refracted in his tin-silver neckpiece, which tinkled brightly.

The setting sun also shone into the car and the large truck on the other side was half-dark, the back of the car was full of pagan fanaticism.

Lin Xi did not speak. Most of his will was to endure the abdominal pain and his weak appearance seemed out of place.

In fact, he also looks very abrupt among the ordinary people. The withered white hair, pale skin, and thin body are matched together, like a container that can’t hold the soul and will be drowned in the apocalypse of wild sand and dust at any time.

Moraka saw Lin Xi’s pain and he couldn’t help but wipe Lin Xi’s face with his hands.

“White mouse, why don’t you come and join us! With the teacher’s method, I can free you from suffering. We can create a new patron saint together.” Moraka suggested.

But Lin Xi tilted his head.

“I don’t believe in God,” he replied.

“I didn’t believe it until I met the teacher.”

“I didn’t believe in aliens either.”

“I didn’t believe it until I met the teacher.”

    “I don’t believe in humans.”

“…” Moraka was stunned and thought about it.

“Teacher, he is not an ordinary person.”

    “Where is he now?”

“A year ago, the teacher left the village of Gaia to help us continue to find the patron saint.”

This time Lin Xi did not answer, he was quiet until Moraka approached, only to hear his very soft snoring.

He had no intention of continuing the conversation with Moraka.

Moraka looked at Lin Xi’s face for a while and reluctantly sat back to his seat.

Lin Xi slept for a while. When Moraka’s hand was removed, he let go of his vigilance.

Exhaustion and pain swept over him, and he fell into a groggy slumber.

This time, he fell into a distant dream.

In the dream, he saw a towering giant tree in the dark green forest. This giant tree covered the sky and blocked the sun, blocking the yellow sky in the interlaced branches and leaves and only let the sun shine down.

Under the giant tree is a thin figure.

And large swaths of moving flora.

The green flora is like moss and algae, they are like locusts crossing the border to find food, like hands in hell, grabbing and dragging the body of living things.

Lin Xi looked at it. Suddenly, his consciousness was attached to the figure.

“I don’t want to die, I don’t want to die, I really don’t want to die…” He heard himself let out a hoarse, longing cry.

There was no response from the forest, only darkness was slowly descending.

Before the visual annihilation, Lin Xi saw a very gentle and delicate tentacle reaching out and gently brushing his face, leaving behind moist mucus.

    Like an animal’s tongue.

He opened his eyes and woke up from the dream.

After leaving the dream, a heavy feeling swept over again. Lin Xi noticed that his abdominal pain not only did not relieve, but spread to his limbs and bones.

He took a few breaths with his eyes open and found himself out of the truck.

He was lying in a simple tent, outside the tent was dark and brightly lit.

“White mouse, are you awake?” Seemingly aware of his movement, Moraka’s voice came again.

Lin Xi raised his eyes and saw the boy sitting by the campfire, boiling a pot of boiling water.

There are several piles of the same bonfire. Next to the bonfire, three military vehicles are parked on the other side and a short bushes nearby.

The dark night is pressing the sky and the earth. In the temporary resting place of mankind, the soldiers wearing the combat uniforms of the other side’s advance troops are holding guns and are on duty next to them.

Lin Xi looked at the surrounding environment and sat up from the ground.

But somehow, he felt cold around him and his bones become were even colder. The combination of cold and pain made him tremble.

He lost his strength and fell down again.

Moroka was quick-witted and grabbed him.

    “You’re sick.”

He tested Lin Xi’s forehead temperature. “Those people said they were going to spend the night here. Everyone got out of the car. I saw that you were unconscious and didn’t move, so I carried you here from the car.”

There are two tents and Moroka happens to be in a group with Lin Xi.

He noticed that Lin Xi’s forehead temperature not only did not decrease, but became hotter, he said helplessly: “You are very ill this time. I boiled water for you. You should take a few sips to warm yourself up.”

In the vegetated desert, the temperature difference between day and night is very large and the minimum temperature at night can drop to minus numbers. This is nothing to Lin Xi who usually performs tasks, but it is enough to be a reminder to a sick human being.

Lin Xi didn’t expect that he would fall ill at this time, his face suddenly turned pale again.

Normally, a mutant is rarely disturbed by illness.

He was ill, indicating that his body’s immune function also had a problem. It was beginning to lose its function as the body declined.

There is no petri dish solution here to prolong his life.

Moraka took a spoonful of water from the pot, poured it into the kettle, and handed the kettle to Lin Xi.

Lin Xi didn’t pick it up.

Seeing this, Moraka lifted the man up, put Lin Xi on his arm and brought the spout to Lin Xi’s lips.

“Drink a little, it’s good for the body,” he suggested.

The water in the spout was rippling and there were sparkling waves under the firelight.

But Lin Xi smelled a smell like disinfectant.

    He frowned, looking away.

Moraka poured the water into the spoon again and sent it between Lin Xi’s lips: “Look at how dry your lips are. If this continues, before we reach our destination, you will die on the road first.”

Hearing this sentence, Lin Xi’s expression of refusal seemed to be a little loose, and his pale lips twitched.

“I won’t hurt you.” Moroka was delighted and poured some water for Lin Xi.

This time, Lin Xi didn’t resist. He let Moroka feed him, like a plant in the desert, instinctively absorbing water.

Moroka was very happy, he stared at Lin Xi’s every swallowing action closely. Every time Lin Xi’s Adam’s apple moved, his eyes brightened.

Soon, his eyes curled, and a smile as bright as the sun appeared on his face.

He decided to treat Lin Xi better.

He then asked Lin Xi if he needed to eat.

    Lin Xi rejected him.

He put the food in front of Lin Xi again.

    Lin Xi did not eat.

“Then let me wipe your body for you. You have blood all over your body, it smells so bad.” Moroka suggested again.

Lin Xi didn’t speak, his hand suddenly hung down.

Moroka was stunned for a moment. He looked at Lin Xi and saw Lin Xi’s head tilted to one side under the bonfire.

    The white mouse fainted again.

By the firelight, he was unconscious. Half of his face was illuminated by the light and half of his face was shrouded in shadows.

Morojia watched for a while and when he saw that Lin Xi really lost consciousness, he reached out and touched the other’s face lightly.

Afterwards, he laid the person flat on the ground and made a sacrificial kowtow towards the dark world.

When he looked up again, his eyes were full of excitement.

He took a cloth and put it in boiling water to sterilize it. After five minutes, he took the cloth out of the boiling water, wringed it dry and his eyes fell on the “white mouse” lying on the ground again.

He stepped forward and unbuttoned the front of the white mouse and began to wipe the other’s body reverently.

After the first pot of boiling water went down, Moraka cleaned up the sludge on Lin Xi’s face, neck and chest.

Under the firelight, the skin of the sleeping body was fair and soft and the proportions of the limbs were slender and perfect, like a holy object.

Moraka looked at it and a flush of crimson suddenly appeared on his face.

At the same time, he was surprised by his own physiological reaction. He quickly gestured a prayer of begging for sin.

“What are you doing?” At this moment, a cold voice suddenly came from behind him.

Moraka’s face changed. He turned around and immediately saw three outsiders in camouflage uniforms standing in front of his tent.

The three of them were two tall and one short. The head of the man had eyebrows on his temples, his face was cold, and he looked at him with an unpleasant expression.

Moraka immediately recognized that this man was the leader of the army who commanded his soldiers to conquer the village and burn down the fort.

    Those people called him Commander.

A flash of hatred flashed in Moraka’s eyes.

But he also saw the guns and weapons on the other side at the same time, he clenched the handkerchief in his hand, and smiled again.

“Lord Commander, why did you come to our village? It’s getting dark and we are preparing to rest.”

    “I won’t ask you that.”

The commander nodded and pointed in the direction of the white mouse: “What’s going on with him?”

Under the tent, Lin Xi was in a coma on the ground. Most of his shirt was ripped off, revealing his thin shoulders, but no one responded at all.

Mu Yechen felt that such a scene was dazzling for no reason.

Moraka couldn’t help being surprised when he saw Mu Yechen’s scrutiny of “white mouse”, he quickly took a step to block the other party’s sight.

“The white mouse is sick, and I am taking care of him.” Moraka replied.

    He is sick?

    Mu Yechen’s eyes sank.

Cang Jie, who was next to him, quickly reacted, by passing Moraka and walking to Lin Xi’s side.

He raised Lin Xi’s hand, immediately noticed that the temperature was wrong, and reached out to test his forehead.

“He has a high fever,” he reported.

Getting sick in the desert is extremely dangerous for ordinary people.

Mu Yechen narrowed his eyes slightly, examining the environment around the tent.

On the sandy soil, there are only bonfires for chills and pots and pans for daily living.

“Bring him to my tent.” He made a quick decision.

“Yes Commander!” The short soldier next to him had already taken the lead and walked towards Lin Xi.

Moraka’s face changed slightly, and he immediately stopped the other party.

“What are you going to do to him? He is a villager of our village and we can protect him.” Moraka said loudly.

Luo Xiaowei was in trouble and looked at Mu Yechen.

Mu Yechen’s face was cold, he bypassed the shaman and walked to Lin Xi himself.

    “He can’t live with you.”

Moraka’s face turned the color of pig liver and he wanted to take back the white mouse but was stopped by Luo Xiaowei instead.

    He shouted anxiously.

Mu Yechen ignored it, he pulled back Lin Xi’s slipped shirt and helped him cover the skin on his chest.

Lin Xi didn’t react in the slightest.

Mu Yechen glanced at him. He wrapped his arms around Lin Xi’s back and knees, picked him up from the ground, and walked towards his military tent.
