“So, what do you want to watch?” Jade asked, stuffing a handful of popcorn into her mouth.
“Uh, I don’t know, maybe something like horror?” you replied, smiling at the sight of her.
You were wearing Jade’s sweater and her shorts. Her signature scent filled your lungs more than ever, and you weren’t complaining. Her company was undeniably comforting.
“Finally! Someone I can watch ‘The Scissoring’ with! Beck always refused to watch it, but it’s my favourite freaking movie,” she exclaimed.
The more she told you about Beck, the more you began to dislike him. He couldn’t even put in the effort to watch his girlfriend’s favourite movie. What a dick.
“That’s what I’m here for. As your fake girlfriend, I’ll do anything Beck didn’t do for you,” you said playfully.
She looked up at you and giggled. “Whatever, weirdo. I’m putting ‘The Scissoring’ on.”
As the movie progressed, you and Jade got closer.
By the end, you were practically wrapped around each other.
You had to admit, it was a good movie, but you were also scared of everything, so it really messed you up.
“Great, now I’m not going to be able to sleep tonight,” you confessed.
She looked at you to see if you were serious. To her surprise, you were. She giggled and said, “You’re such a baby, Liv. I swear to God.”
You shrugged. “Your fault.”
“You’re right,” she said, coming closer. “Maybe I put a scary movie on purpose, knowing I’d get to pull you close at night. Maybe that’s what I really want.”
At this point, she was so close that she was whispering in your ear.
You were never going to admit it, but oh God, you were turned on. Goosebumps appeared on your skin. You wanted to say something, but you couldn’t. It felt like your mouth was glued shut.
Jade then stood up and walked away, presumably to the bathroom.
You took a deep breath in and out, trying to calm yourself down.
You knew she was just joking, but hearing her say things like that seriously made you feel things.
You grabbed a pillow and buried your face in it. This was going to be a long night.
—
After binging about five different horror movies, you and Jade decided it was time to sleep.
Although you didn’t have school the next day, you wanted to be well-rested.
The problem, however, was that you were about to share a bed with Jade. Thinking about lying that close to her all night made you shiver.
You and Jade walked into her room.
It looked different from the last time you were here.
The room was now dark and kind of creepy.
Maybe it felt like that because of the moonlight shining in, or maybe you were just on edge from all the scary movies.
But that didn’t matter; all you wanted was to get closer to Jade, feeling as if she was the only thing that could protect you from this creepy room.
Jade noticed you had stopped in your tracks and looked back at you. “Oh come on, you’re not actually scared, right? What are you, a little kid?” she said, giggling.
“Well, after seeing people get killed in about sixty different ways, yes Jade, I am indeed a bit scared,” you admitted.
Jade laughed and walked over to her closet. She grabbed a shirt and some shorts and threw them your way. “You’re just a pussy, Liv,” she said.
Before you could say anything, Jade pulled up her shirt and tossed it to the other side of the room. You couldn’t help but stare.
Her body was beautiful, the lighting highlighting her subtle abs, her arms resting perfectly by her sides, and her black lace bra.
You didn’t know where to look.
After pulling an oversized shirt over her head, she looked at you.
“Okay, I don’t know what’s happening, but why are you looking at me like you wanna eat me?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.
You couldn’t seem to come up with a reasonable answer. You couldn’t just tell her, “Well, it’s because I do want to eat you. Take that shirt off again,” or “I don’t know, I was just thinking about you while you were riding my face.” So instead of saying something stupid, you didn’t say anything at all.
“I thought you were exaggerating when you said you were scared, but those movies really messed you up, bro. Just put on the PJs, whether it’s here or in the bathroom,” she said, looking at you suspiciously.
“Yeah, I’ll be back,” you said, turning around and heading out the door.
You needed a minute to calm yourself down after what you saw and regain some confidence to even walk back into the room.
You didn’t know how you were going to survive the night but, you knew it wasn’t going to be easy
