Edwin was on his lap, his hands and those long fingers wrapped around both of their erections, stroking them together with just the right amount of pressure and pace to leave them both breathless and impatient to orgasm.

Aiden had been sitting on the couch, watching TV on mute, drinking his morning orange juice all dressed up and ready to leave for work when his cute, sleepy, puffy-faced boy in that over-sized hoodie of his had appeared in his eyesight. Edwin’s hair was an absolute bird’s nest and it made him all the more endearing, but that devil long-limbed kitten wouldn’t have been his lover if he wasn’t horny all the damn time!

He had hugged him, caressing over his back and hair, planting a few kisses on his earlobe when suddenly a hand had run over his crotch, undoing his zipper, and now he couldn’t even think straight as he devoured those plump lips, sucked on that sweet-talking tongue and swallowed every last sound his beautiful angel made.

Edwin’s voice was raspy and low, a bit tired too since he hadn’t slept all that much after his photoshoot last night and his body was still hot in his arms from being wrapped in a bundle of blankets only a few minutes ago. There were a couple of hickeys on the right side of his neck from their make-out session in his office yesterday, and his naked ass was begging Aiden to put his hands on them. It took everything in him not to, because the moment he’d go for that delicious-looking ass, he knew he wouldn’t make it to work on time. That couldn’t happen since he had a very important meeting so he’d been busying both hands tugging at the soft black hair and pressing the younger’s body closer to himself.

“Uh- fuck- babe, babe-” Edwin hissed, his hands stuttering for a few seconds and thighs shaking intensely too before his body calmed down and he got to continue.

“Shhh, do you want me to take over?” He whispered, moaning right after because goddammit if Edwin didn’t give the best handjobs out there.

“No-” His pretty boy replied breathlessly, “No no no-” repeating the same word, obviously out of his mind, he started shaking his head as well, desperate to cum.

Aiden couldn’t take it anymore and pulled him in for another rough, hungry kiss, making the boy shudder and groan in his arms and for his hands to stop momentarily again before he collected himself and resumed.

He was close and he knew Edwin was too. He pulled a couple of tissues from the box next to the couch and brought his hand between their bodies, covering their erections’ heads with them. He really didn’t have time to change.

He came with a groan and Edwin came panting roughly, body going limp immediately in his hold after he stroked them through their high.

His baby was plastered all over him, that gorgeous face in the crook of his neck, breathing him in soundly but all too soon it ended and he was left getting hit by the cold air when Edwin let himself fall to the couch’s free space next to him.

“You can leave for work now, Evans.” The younger kicked him softly with his foot to have him get off the couch. Those long legs needed all the couch’s length to themselves, you see!

Aiden stood up, looking down at the perfect male model the world had ever seen. “You only want me for sex.” He pouted playfully.

“You only got that now? I thought it was fairly obvious since the first time we slept together.” Edwin replied with a snobbish, raised eyebrow.

“Hey!” He kicked the couch. “How can you even joke about it?! You thought you lost your sister for good!”

“It’s been yeaaaars and she’s back so I can finally admit to the fact that I only ever wanted you for your hot body.”

The room was silent for a few seconds before they both burst out laughing. Their cats made protesting whines from the other room. Unlike any other cat, theirs didn’t like getting up early and would make you regret existing if you woke them up!

They covered their mouths with their hands and continued to giggle. Aiden bent down to place a lingering kiss on his baby’s forehead.

“Go sleep on the bed. You’re half-naked. Do not sleep here without a blanket, okay? Go to bed.”

“Yes, mom.” Edwin snickered and stole a quick peck from his lips. “Don’t stay late today. I miss you.”

“Okay, baby.” He kissed those lips once more before taking his phone and wallet off the coffee table. “I love you.”

“I love you too~”

Despite the older’s clear order — as if he was a good boy who’d listen! — Edwin closed his eyes and fell asleep fast. He was tired and the thought of the distance between their living room and their bedroom was an absolute nightmare at the moment. Sometimes he missed that apartment Aiden used to own. Everything was so close to everything. But now they needed more space, so there was no choice but to walk extra steps after long hours of work.

When he woke up, it was 12PM. His stomach complained loudly, but he didn’t feel like moving, so he turned the TV on instead. One of their cats walked past him slowly, but he was tired to even give love to the spoiled little rascal, so he switched the channels mindlessly instead. That was until the news headline caught his attention and he turned the volume up.

“The marriage equality act was signed into law by the president. This new law took effect this morning and as of today, our country is going to issue marriage licenses and provide civil marriage ceremonies to same-sex couples.”

Edwin jumped up, unaware of the fact that tears were falling down his face as he threw the remote control somewhere and ran to their bedroom. Taking a shower at the speed of light, it took him thirty minutes to decide on a formal suit after trying on everything he had. Aiden was wearing a suit today too because of his meeting so everything was perfectly in order! He was going to surprise-marry his fiancé of many years!

While calling his parents and Aiden’s stepfather and brother, he collected everything needed as he told them the plan and asked them to be at the city hall building in an hour. He had a friend there, so scheduling an appointment was done in a minute and he went there to fill in all the forms needed first, leaving only Aiden’s signatures for it to be done. He met their family when he was on the way to his car on the stairs.

“I’m going to get him now. The company’s right around the block, so it shouldn’t take long.” The four people were so excited, sparkles were shining through their teary eyes. “Ah, stop! If any of you starts crying I can’t hold it in either. Just go wait inside!”

The parents all nodded and turned around to wipe their tears off.

“Should I call the guys?” Max asked after clearing his throat.

“No. This entire thing is chaotic enough! We can’t add Ian and his psychotic energy into this!” Both of them laughed, knowing he was right.

“Time is ticking. Go get your man before the old farts go back on their decision.” Mr. Evans said, patting his shoulder strongly.

Edwin nodded and started running down the stairs.

“Careful!” His mom’s voice sounded behind him and it brought a smile to his face. His parents had had a rather hard time believing Aiden’s love for him but they were here now, one call away to dress up prettily and come to his marriage ceremony!

He parked the car like an uncivilized asshole and ran inside the company. People greeted him left and right, but all of that was filtered out from his ears. His only goal was to reach his man and kidnap him!

“Den!” He pushed the older’s office door open with so much force it hit the wall loudly.

Aiden flinched, his coffee spilling on his desk a bit as he stared at him with wide eyes.

“What’s going on? Did something happen?” The older got up and hurried over to him. “Are you okay? Did someone try to hurt you again? Why are you here alone? Where is your bodyguard?” The questions were thrown at him one after another without a chance for him to reply to any of them as Aiden looked at him up and down, in search of an injury.

“You’re- wearing a suit.” His lover calmed down a little and looked at him in confusion. “Did you have a shoot today? You never wear suits by choice.”

Edwin cupped the handsome face and smooched those full lips hard. “We’re going on a date!”

“But-“

“Nope. No buts. I’m kidnapping you. End of story.” He intertwined their fingers as he quite literally dragged the man behind himself to his car.

Once in the car, he looked over at an Aiden who knew he had too much work left but was trying to force his work addiction to the side in order to please him and his needs.

The older took a deep breath and visibly relaxed. “Where are we going?” His voice sounded deep and beautiful, like wild honey.

Edwin smirked, taking out the blindfold from his pocket.

“You really are kidnapping me, aren’t you?!” Aiden giggled and snatched it out of his hand, putting it on. “Well, baby, I’m all yours. Do with me as you please~”

“When am I not?” He smiled wide through the kiss he pressed against the back of Aiden’s hand before starting the car.

His friend came to get them inside the room they’d be doing the ceremony in through a private entrance since they didn’t want everyone calling everyone and it turning into a celebrity-sighting hazard out of nowhere!

They walked inside the room and the four people gasped but kept silent as Edwin guided the older forward until they were standing face to face in front of his friend who was helping them do this at the speed of light, ignoring the usual law and timetable, who would also be the person to perform their marriage.

“Take it off, baby.” He said softly, suddenly a little nervous about Aiden’s reaction to this.

He knew the older didn’t care about marriage at all in the past, but he had been the one proposing and he’d been looking into the news from time to time through the years. Edwin knew a big part of it was because of him, because Aiden knew he loved the idea of being legally married. But was that all there was, or was he looking forward to the day they’d tie the knot for real too?

Aiden took the blindfold off leisurely, but once he could see, his eyes scanned the room as his mouth fell open. He looked at the person he knew as Edwin’s friend, before he looked at the people there present as witnesses, and lastly, his eyes were glued on Edwin.

The second those lovely eyes looked at him, his tears started falling.

“They legalized gay marriage this morning.” He sobbed. “I didn’t want to risk anything. Who knows when they’ll decide we’re not human enough again?” His sobs became a little desperate. His heart was beating so fast in his chest with every second that passed with Aiden remaining silent. “Are you mad?” He couldn’t take those eyes anymore and looked down at their connected hands.

Aiden let go of him and he was about to have a breakdown, but what he saw, taken out of the older’s pocket, hitched his breath instead.

There, in his man’s hand, was a velvet box.

“I had a whole thing planned.” Aiden chuckled. “Hugo told me it was going to happen soon, so I was planning the perfect wedding for us.” He looked a little sad as he ran his nails over the box, leaving paths behind. “I’m sorry I didn’t let go of all of this like I promised you back then. We could’ve gotten married in another county by now, but I’m a workaholic…”

Edwin wanted to say something, but Aiden beat him to it. “Will this do? You deserve more than a simple marriage at the city hall…”

He looked up at the man that had shocked him with his beautiful heart over and over again through the years. Even before they were a couple, he had adored and respected Aiden. He had a genius brain with so many ideas. So smart that he’d definitely go insane if he didn’t have constant outlets to calm down the chaos in his mind. And so, how could he take it all away from him to get married sooner? He would never. He loved watching the man performing on the stage, working on songs, designing, and being a sexy CEO way too much, anyway! And Aiden knew all of that, too. It was just that he tended to become insecure often and Edwin had to remind him with so many kisses how much he loved him and their life just the way things were.

“We’ll do this now. And we’ll have the perfect wedding later.” He made Aiden look at him with a hand under the older’s chin. “Ian and Finn would murder us if we don’t!” That brought everyone to laughter since they all knew the hot-headed ready-to-fight-at-all-times duo!

Aiden nodded a few times, swallowing down the lump in his throat as he opened the box. The rings brought a new wave of tears to Edwin’s eyes and Aiden hugged him immediately, whispering in his ear: “I searched for the right hue of blue in a gemstone for weeks. You know it’s exactly your hair color from back then, right? You’ll always be my bluewin.”

Aiden made him come out of his embrace and wiped his tears off with his sleeve. Taking one of the rings out, he lifted Edwin’s hand and was about to put the ring on him, adding it to their engagement ring that was always on his finger no matter what, when he paused.

“Can I?” He looked at Edwin’s friend, unsure about the process of marriage.

The other chuckled and nodded. Aiden put the ring on him. Edwin was quick to do the same for the older and it looked like the last missing piece was already in the puzzle of their life with those perfect rings on their fingers.

“Aiden Evans, do you take Edwin Evans as your lawfully wedded husband?” His friend said, breaking everyone’s silent sobs.

“Wait- we didn’t even say our vows, and you didn’t say the ‘in sickness and in health’ thing-” Aiden had one tear running down his eye when he said that in an adorable pout.

“We’ll do those things later at the wedding. Let’s hurry up and do this while it’s still legal.” Edwin caressed the older’s chest to calm his nerves down a little because the guy was clearly holding back an ocean of tears to appear strong and trustworthy in front of Edwin’s parents.

“Okay, baby.” He paused. “Yes, yes I do.”

Edwin pursed his lips in glee when he heard those words.

“Edwin Evans, do you take Aiden Evans as your lawfully wedded husband?”

“I DO!” He said way louder than necessary and the room filled with laughter.

“I now pronounce you husband and husband. You may-“

“Buddy, I don’t need your permission for that.” Aiden cut the guy off and kissed Edwin like he had been waiting a hundred years for this moment. He didn’t know how many seconds it lasted, but ending it was hard and his man was damn strong-willed for being able to put a leash on both of them and pulling back.

The I love yous were on the tip of their tongues when Max decided to be a little shit again.

“Bro, now you’ll have to split your money with him in case of a divorce.”

Mr. Evans slapped the little shit’s head hard. “Everything in the universe would be a lie if these two ever fall out of love!”

“No but for real though-“

This time the slap came from Aiden himself. “Shut up, will you? The fact that I’m even here is because of bluewin so if one day he gets enough of me he can take everything with him. It all belongs to him, anyway.”

“How about we don’t talk about divorce right after we got married, hm?” Edwin took responsibility for the third slap before he swung his arms around his legal husband and kissed him again. The room was filled with playful boohoos, laughter, and conversation between the elders. They had to separate when his friend told him other people had scheduled for this room too and they had to do the paperwork and leave now. He couldn’t wait to video call everyone and have them scream at them for not telling them about it. Nothing was really going to change now, but it felt like they were finally having what was supposed to be theirs all along. Something that was their right to have and not have to fight for.
