Daou POV
Daou sat at the table working while Offroad and Chance rested on the couch watching Jurassic World for the millionth time. Daou laughed to himself when he heard Offroad and Chance giggling about something. The pair spent more time at his condo than their own. Daou had asked Offroad to just move in with him but Offroad would just sigh and roll his eyes and say something about still needing personal space. He honestly didn’t get it cause if Offroad wasn’t within an arms reach from him Daou went insane. If Offroad had refused to sleep in his condo he would end up in Offroads bed after a while. He didn’t want to be separated from him. The doorbell ringing had them all perking up as they had been waiting on food.
“Want me to get it?” Offroad had called over the couch, but Daou was already on his way to the door.
“I got it,” Daou called back, opening the front door not to food delivery but to the last person he thought he would ever see at his doorstep. “Mang?” Daou gasped. She had looked exactly the same except her hair was now bleached blond.
“Hi,” she said, waving a hand and smiling at him. “Long time no see huh?”
“What are you doing here?” Daou asked closing the door partially behind him so she couldn’t see into his condo.
“I just flew in actually and figured I swing by. Your dad gave me your address,” Daou had finally noticed the luggage she had with her.
“You’re supposed to be in the States,” Daou said, still confused about why she was here.
“I know but me and Henry broke up so I figured it was time to come home ya know?” She gave him a weird look trying to peer around him into the condo. “Aren’t you going to Invite me in?” Daou stood there frozen Offroad had spoken to him some about his and Mang’s relationship; it wasn’t the best at all considering how close they were in age. According to Offroad Mang probably didn’t even know what Chance looked like right now or how old he was.
“Look now,-”
“Delivery,” a driver called, interrupting him and handing over 2 large bags of food. Offroad had ended up ordering half the damn take-out menu claiming he had a long day and needed to refuel.
“Oh thank you,” Daou said, grabbing the food from the gentleman.
“Oh, do you have someone here? Who? The boys?” Mang smiled trying to move around Daou to get into the condo but he quickly blocked her.
“Look Mang I’m glad you swung by to visit, but now isn’t the best time. Do any of your family know you came home?” Daou asked.
“No, like I said I just landed and figured I would come to visit with you since we haven’t seen each other or spoken to each other in years,” Mang said now sounding annoyed.
“And I appreciate that and I would love to catch up just not now,” Daou said, blocking her once more in trying to get into his condo.
“Papa?” Daou heard Chance ask from behind him groaning at the sound of his voice hoping Mang didn’t recognize him and that Offroad wasn’t seconds behind him.
“Papa?” Mang asked, eyes going wide at Chance and then at Daou. “You have a kid?”
“Yes,” Daou said. He knelt down to Chance. “Hey buddy go back inside and I’ll be there in a moment okay?” Daou whispered hoping to keep Offroad from coming out here.
“But I’m hungry,” Chance Whispered back. “So is daddy,”
“Oh, so you have an omega that’s why you don’t want me in there?” Mang asked, laughing.
“One minute okay buddy? Can you carry one of these?” Daou asked, handing Chance the lighter of the 2 bags. “2 hands okay?” Chance nodded, holding the bag in his arms as he walked back into the condo.
“Yes, that is actually why-” Daou heard the crash before he heard Chances cry.
“Oh my god Chance!” He heard Offroad scream. Daou flung the door open to see that Chance had tripped and the hot food and pho were all over him as his little lungs screamed.
“Chance?!” Mang said following him in. Offroad had reached Chance before Daou could, picking him up, brushing off the hot food and quickly removing the soaked clothing.
“What were you thinking letting him carry that!?” Offroad screamed. “Shh baby it’s okay I know it’s hot,” Offroad said, trying to calm their son.
“Offroad?!” Mang yelled. Causing Offroad to look up glaring back and forth between them both.
“Oh now I see what you were thinking,” Offroad scoffed, picking up their son and taking him, tears and all, into his room, slamming the door.
“Huh should have known he’d crack and tell you eventually.” Daou heard Mang say behind him. “Couldn’t get my father’s money so he came after yours.”
“What did you just say?” Daou asked, turning around growling. “Did you know?”
“I mean sorta,” Mang said, swallowing hard, realizing her mistake. “There were rumors,” The sound of another door slamming had Daou turning to see Offroad carrying their son, now dressed, still crying but much softer now back towards them.
“Keys,” Offroad said, putting his hand out.
“What?” Daou asked, confused, setting the remaining food down on the cabinet in the entryway.
“Car keys Daou!” Offroad yelled, shaking his hand palm side up at him. “Our son has burns on his arms and chest. I need to take him to the hospital.”
“Wait I’m coming with you,” Daou said, going to reach for his son but was quickly met with a growling Offroad.
“Looks like you’re busy,” Offroad said, glancing toward Mang. “So either you give me the keys or I’ll take a taxi,”
“Take him to the one located on Main Street. I’ll meet you there,” Daou said, fishing his keys out of his pocket the moment they were out, Offroad snatched them.
“Yeah, sure,” Offroad said, stepping in between him and Mang. Daou grabbed his arm and spun him back to him, kissing him fiercely, making sure to rub his fingers over the marks on his neck as he cupped his face.
“Stop,” Daou said, hoping the kiss was enough to calm the raging omega inside him. Daou then kissed his son’s head. “I’ll be there shortly okay?” Chance nodded, Daou released Offroad as he exited the condo swiftly.
“Oh, so he has his claws deep into huh?” Mang laughed watching him go. Daou grabbed the remaining food and stomped over to the fridge, throwing it in. Grabbing paper towels and a hand towel to clean up the mess.
“Why are you here?” Daou asked as he attempted to clean up the mess. Feeling how hot the soup had made his cold tiles let alone his son’s skin his alpha was screaming at him. He had forgotten about Offroad ordering pho he should have never let Chance carry that bag.
“Like I said-”
“I know what you fucking said but why are you actually here Mang?” Daou said throwing the towel on the ground with Chance’s clothes, walking over to throw the paper towel in the trash.
“Cause I wanna see you,” Mang said in a quiet voice.
“You can’t be for real right now right?” Daou said in bewilderment.
“Oh, what you’re going to let him also dictate your friendships now?” Mang asked angrily, putting her hands on her hips.
“No, ’cause I’m not you and Offroad would never do that.”
“Look I know Henry was a jealous spot for you-”
“Jealous?” Daou asked, confused. “Wait hold on, the reason I didn’t like Henry was because he was using you for your dad’s money and treated you like shit.”
“So what’s the difference between him and Offroad then huh?” Mang asked.
“Everything!” Daou said, throwing his hands up. “Offroad doesn’t treat anyone like shit and he has never used anyone for their money.”
“So what are you two together now?”
“Yes, we are.”
“So where does that leave us?” Mang asked.
“Us?” Daou asked. “Mang there was never any of us!”
“We were engaged!” Mang screamed.
“For a month and I never wanted it! I never wanted to marry you!” Daou screamed at her the shock spreading across her face. “Mang I loved you yes but not like that NEVER like that.”
“So Offroad gets knocked up by you, hides the baby, and has you eating out of his hand?” Mang asked, crossing her arms over her chest.
“Yeah, he fucking does,” Daou said.
“WOW, I never thought he would go this far to replace me,” Mang said
“What are you talking about?” Daou asked even more confused.
“He couldn’t compete with Diamond or Film so he just had to take my life.”
“I think you have gone insane and I don’t have time for this. My son and my omega need me.” Daou said, grabbing Mang and pushing her out the condo door, shutting it behind them.
“Where am I supposed to go?” Mang yelled as Daou walked away from her.
“I don’t know. How about home?” Daou called back over his shoulder.
——
“There, that feels much better right?” Daou heard the nurse say as he walked into the room after being pointed in the right direction. The nurse looked like she was wrapping Chance’s arms with a bandage. Chance nodded yes before his eyes quickly locked onto Daou.
“Papa!” He yelled, stretching his hands out to Daou. Daou quickly got to his bedside and wrapped him in the biggest hug.
“I am so sorry,” Daou said, kissing his son all over his face.
“The doctor will be in momentarily to look at the burns,” The nurse said, excusing herself.
“Were you told anything?” Daou asked a glaring Offroad, who was standing on the other side of the bed, as he sat his son back down on the bed.
“Not yet,” Offroad said very shortly.
“Look I didn’t-” Daou started but was cut off by Offroad clearing his throat.
“Later,” Offroad sighed. “We will talk later,” Offroad repeated, shifting his eyes to Chance who was looking between them. Daou understood.
“I’m sorry buddy, Papa shouldn’t have let you carry it,” Daou said, looking at his son’s bandaged arms and lifting his shirt to see his chest. It was all red but looked like it was irritated more than a burn.
“It’s okay papa, sorry I tripped,” Chance said.
“It’s not your fault baby,” Offroad reassured him.
“But what are we going to eat?” Chance asked. Daou felt even worse that all three were still starving.
“It’s okay baby we will grab something once the doctor takes a look at you okay?” Offroad said, smiling at their son.
“But what about the baby in your tummy? Is it going to be okay if you don’t eat?” Chance asked nonchalantly as Daou felt the world grow quiet around him. Baby?

Offroad POV
Offroad froze. Chance had seen him take the pregnancy test last night. This time when 2 pink lines appeared he was overwhelmed with a happiness he just couldn’t contain and started crying. Chance had immediately asked what was wrong, concerned for him and Offroad had in fact informed him there was a baby growing in his belly like he once did. He swore his son to secrecy as Offroad wanted to do one of those pregnancy reveals, you know the ones you see all over the internet? He wanted to surprise Daou. If the look on his face had said anything he was.
“Baby?” Daou said, looking at Offroad. Offroad felt his face grow red as he nodded. “Baby?” Daou asked again, this time smiling from ear to ear.
“I found out last night,” Offroad whispered. Daou stood rushing over to him, scooping him up in a hug.
“Were having a baby?” Daou asked, kissing all over Offroads face.
“Put me down,” Offroad said, scolding him. Daou placed him gently back on the floor before turning to their son.
“Chance we are gonna have a baby!” Daou squealed, causing Chance to also squeal excitedly, smiling at his father. They both started screaming in excitement.
“Are we celebrating something?” A feminine voice called from behind them. Offroad looked to see the doctor had entered the room.
“Daddy has a baby in his tummy!” Chance happily yelled.
“Oh my, someone is excited to be a big brother,” The doctor said sitting down in that little rolly chair coming over to Chance’s bedside. “Can I see your arms?” The doctor asked as Daou stepped back towards Offroad wrapping his arms around his waist and rubbing his stomach. The doctor pulled the bandages off revealing Chance’s scolded arms. “Oh my, this must have hurt huh?” The doctor asked Chance who nodded, watching the doctor closely. “I think you’ll be okay though, especially since you have big brother duties now.”
“What are Big Brother duties?” Chance asked the doctor as she rewrapped his arms.
“Oh, you are going to get to help your daddies with feeding the baby and looking after it to make sure it doesn’t get hurt. Once they are old you two will get to play together.” The doctor said excitedly to Chance.
“Did Uncle Film look after you Daddy?” Chance asked, looking up at Offroad. Offroad felt a sadness fill his chest. He smiled at his son and just nodded. His family issues weren’t for his son to bear.
“His burns are superficial, nothing to be alarmed about. The chest should clear up in a day or 2,” The doctor said standing and smiling at Chance. “His arms, however, try to keep them covered with no prolonged exposure to the sun, no pools, and cool to warm baths. Try to keep his arms out of the water for the next week. I am going to give you a burn cream, use it for the first 3-4 days and then unscented lotion. Do you have any questions?” Offroad shook his head no. “Congratulations, if the new one is anything like this one you too make some adorable and awesome babies.” She said winking at Chance. “I’ll send the nurse in to discharge you.
“Wait till I tell my mom!” Daou screeched, hugging Offroad tight.
“Wait,” Offroad said, pushing at Daou’s chest. “Can we just wait a bit before we start announcing it to the world?” Offroad asked looking up at Daou. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to scream it to the world, he did.
“Why?” Daou asked, making a confused face at him.
“I want to go to the doctor first to make sure everything is okay,”
“Is something wrong? Do you feel sick? Let me get the doctor-“
“Daou,” Offroad said, clutching the man to prevent him from chasing after the doctor. “I’m okay, and as far as I know so is the baby but I would like to see a doctor first before we go telling anyone. Please?” Offroad almost pleaded.
“Okay,” Daou said, wrapping his arms around him once again. “Don’t scare me like that.” He huffed.
“Can we tell Uncle Poon?” Chance asked from his bed “Or Uncle Mond?”
“Not yet,” Offroad said, stepping out of Daou’s arms and sitting on the bed with his son. “But if you keep it a secret Daddy promises you will be the first one to tell anyone you want okay?”
“Can I tell grandma?!” Chance asked excitedly.
“Yes, of course,” Offroad smiled at him. He hoped maybe if Chance was the one to tell certain people it would cushion the blow.
“Okay, where are we going to eat to celebrate?!” Daou asked, clapping his hands together.
“Home, we still have to talk, we can grab food on the way,” Offroad said, side eyeing Daou.
“I want pizza!” Chance yelled.
“Pizza it is,” Daou agreed.
…..
“Do you think it’s a boy or a girl?” Daou asked as he was currently lying on Offroad’s stomach showering it with kisses and rubbing it lightly. The man had thrown a fit when Offroad had slipped on a shirt to sleep in till Offroad just gave up and decided it wasn’t work the fight.
“I don’t know. What do you want it to be?” Offroad asked Daou as he pushed his fingers through his shirt hair.
“Happy and healthy, and to look exactly like you,” Daou said, smiling up at Offroad and kissing his belly once more before returning back to the position he was in. “What do you want it to be?
“I want the baby to be loved,” Offroad said. “Happy, healthy, and calm of course. But I want to know how loved he is.”
“I will spend the rest of my life proving how loved all 3 of you are.” Daou said, rubbing his face into his stomach.
“We still need to talk,” Offroad said to Daou.
“I didn’t know she was coming, I promise,” Daou said, holding Offroad’s hand on top of his stomach.
“I know you didn’t, no one did,” Offroad sighed. “How did she know where you lived?”
“I think she said my dad,” Daou said quietly.
“Ha!” Offroad laughed. “He really doesn’t like me,”
“He can go kick rocks,” Daou said, sitting up and leaning over Offroad now pinning his body between his arms and his legs. “Cause I love you,” Daou said, pushing his lips against Offroads.
“I love you,” Offroad said, wrapping his arms around Daou’s neck, slipping his tongue inside his mouth and tasting his man.
“Wait,” Daou said, breaking the kiss, looking down at his stomach. “Are we allowed to do this?” He asked
“I don’t see why not,” Offroad said, moving to kiss Daou again but was stopped.
“I think we better hold off,” Daou said, crawling off of Offroad to plop down by his side.
“Are you kidding me right now?” Offroad asked, irritated and now stupidly horny.
“Once you get checked by the doctor I promise I won’t stop but until then let’s wait okay?” Daou said, pulling Offroad close to him so he was the little spoon wrapping his hand around his stomach.
“Fine, but you’re gonna wish for this time back once the baby is here,” Offroad said, smashing his pillow to fit under his head.
“Speaking of that, we’re going to need to move,” Daou sighed.
“Why?”
“We are going to need more space,” Daou explained. “And a yard.”
“Between my condo and yours, we will have enough space,” Offroad said.
“If you think for one second I’m going to let you live apart from me know you are insane,” Daou laughed.
“But I just unpacked everything!” Offroad whined.
“Well, then I’ll hire people to repack it all up and move it in here,”
“If you are hell-bent on moving just wait till them so we only have to move it once,” Offroad suggested yawning.
“So does that mean you’ll move in with me?” Daou asked, kissing his neck.
“Depends,” Offroad smiled to himself.
“Depends on what?” Daou asked.
“Will you fuck me?” Offroad asked pushing his ass back against Daou’s cock even soft he could still feel it through his briefs. Offroad felt and heard Daous hand connecting with his ass.
“Knock it off, you need to see the doctor first,” Daou growled into his ear.
“Ugh, fine,” Offroad said, attempting to scoot away from Daou but was pulled back even closer than he was before.
“No, stay here.” Daou pouted resting his chin on Offroads shoulder. Offroad gave up, his body suddenly felt extremely tired. So he closed his eyes snuggling back into his alpha and the father of his children, perfectly content and happy.
